Don’t buy unless you have tons of shortcuts (the app) experience
App has a huge learning curve I wouldn’t recommend to anyone who doesn’t have extensive experience within the shortcuts app. I paid for the premium version to help me save time with my financials and viewing some data but this has taken a lot longer to even figure out how to use then it would be too manually log the data in excel. Waste of $5
Fantastic on mobile
This is the perfect app for me for making custom rings for my software project in which I earn points for completing tasks. The widgets can effectively be generated and updated by Shortcuts. Unfortunately I find that on Mac the ability to create Charty widgets is constantly flickering on and off; I will add Charty widgets to my side panel, and they will work great for a day just like ios and ipad, but the next day they and the entire option to add charty widgets will have disappeared. Not sure what that's about. With that I would have my current points visible on all devices!
Changed my IPhone for ever
I have found so many shortcuts that uses Charty for Omnifocus and the Health app that my iPhone screens are so much more useful! With some tweaking of existing shortcuts you can make it work for your own need! Such a great concept and extremely useful! Keep them coming all the wonderful examples you have and the amazing support within the app to learn how to do charts!

This is an amazing app that gives Shortcuts users new powerful actions to create and manipulate charts.Charty makes Shortcuts so much better because it is the only tool, besides scripting, that allows users to visualize data, small or large, and to even display these charts in widgets on the Home Screen.The included examples and tutorials will help anyone make full use of the app, and the developer is responsive.If you use Shortcuts, do not hesitate!

Really, really fun app. Widgets is the tipping point. You’re going to start building ways to track various aspects of your life.Admission. Though I do simple JS coding, I initially struggled with the concept of getting data into Charty and got frustrated. I would strongly encourage looking at the examples—start with Pie chart under first steps. Once the app has you hooked it starts being really fun and you’ll be going premium / tip jar before you know it.One other comment. I’ve never seen a more active developer. He DM tweeted me, gave support, all while rolling out awesome updates constantly. You’re not going to find a more impressive developer out there.
Shut up and take my money
This is hands down the best app on the App Store. I went looking for something like this and had 10% expectations of finding it and maybe 2% expectation of it not being a garbage pile, and yet! AND YET! Here we are! Exactly what I had been hoping for plus even some extras like ring charts! Great work, would have gladly paid 2x as much to make sure you get a chance to keep supporting development on this. Thank you!
Charty is AWESOME! Powerful. Quick to Learn & Easy to Use!
Although I am new to developing Apple Shortcuts, I found implementing and generating a Charty Chart to be as easy as doing so in MS-Excel is unnecessarily hard. In a couple of minutes, I coded a Charty Chart that plots an important health-related dataset for a family member whose condition merits continuous monitoring, awareness, and assistance from other family members. With Charty...? Easy-peasy! And, the affected family member's medical providers are extremely impressed regarding the informative value of Charty Charts!In addition...? Rodrigo--Charty's developer--promptly responded to a Feature Request (Trend lines are coming! Yea!)In my experience, Charty is an excellent & economical solution for Apple Shortcut developers...and is highly recommended!A BIG THANK YOU to Rodrigo for creating and distributing this remarkably useful tool!
I’m new to coding and am completely lost.
I’m struggling to find an efficient way to document my stock market journey. I’d like to record P&L and Net worth and just keep it up as a widget as well as easily update it at the end of the day. Maybe a pie chart or a line graph. The concepts look nice but I just can’t wrap my head around the app. I’d also appreciate a slower tutorial. I did end up buying the premium version as well so I have access to everything needed to make this work.
Good app and Well organised
I saw an advertisement of this app on reddit so I decided to try it out. After a while of using it I can safely say that this app is really well organized and not that confusing. I also do love it’s API. It could be a bit better though. I would like for it to be a little less confusing when you first install it because I felt like I was in the middle of a game like undertale or something. Overall I think this app is great! It exceeded my expectations I got everything out of it. And the reddit reviews were surprisingly good great job guys!
