my opinion
this app is wonderful, it’s just that, whenever I try clicking on the app, the animation I chose, always pops up and I can never get get rid of it from my screen. When I want to change my animations into a newer one, I’d always have to redownload the app in order to be able to choose an animation again.. I feel like this app should let you be able to change your animations without having to always keep redownloading all the time. Overall, this app is great and I love it very much!!
Helping others with it
So basically it’s kinda dumb but after like 10-20 minutes of fiddling with it and unplugging your phone while in the app it takes you to a different screen where it lets you choose the animation you’d like and such. It’s a bit wonky not gonna lie but it ended up working and now I have squidward saying he needs to get his peen sucked every time I charge my phone. 10/10
Fantastic
I was worried about trying this because of all the bad reviews. I dunno if others had previous buggy versions or have phones that aren’t compatible for some reason but I had no problem setting up my own clips for the automation. It was very quick and easy and everything works exactly as expected. I’ve even changed a few clips around and changed how they behaved before writing this review. The ads are no trouble for me. I was able to close out of them once watching them.
Would be cooler if i hadnt exspected as much but...
I mean like sure the apps ok and all but i was kinda expecting more than this (goes to show u that ucant raise ur hopes up on silly things)thought it would come on as soon as i plugged it in but u have to turn the app on first:( also i kinda wish it gave me more choices on the animation well the good thing is i only have to watch a vid to get and dont have to pay (thumbs up on that) all in all i just kinda wish u had more choices and set it up were i can see the animation as soon as i plug it in. Hope u read this creators!
Stoped running automation
I’ve had this app for a while and there have been a few bugs that they’ve fixed before so I’m just here letting you know there’s an issue again with playing the video I’m using all together. I can only see it if I go into the app. Even when I have enabled the “Don’t ask before running” features. Hopefully you guys can fix this soon 😊 Thanks!
I love it but i hate it
It’s a great app, does absolutely everything i want it too, it’s just i have an iphone xs, when ads pop up the “x” or cancel button is right underneath my time, i can’t click the cancel button, i don’t mind the ads but now it’s just i cant even use the app anymore. that’s probably the point, to make us buy the no ads thing but i don’t want too. why can’t i just enjoy the app without ads ugh i hate it here! 😭💔 i just want to enjoy my charging animation ugh, now i have to find a new app!!
ADs not closing
I have a iPhone XR and because of this my phone is built differently compared to other phones I've been unable to select my charging animation because of the X button placement it’s locate all the way on the top left corner of the screen and when I go to close it the Lock Screen menu pops up! Making it impossible to close the add so I’m begging you please fix this issue Mac the ads a 1080px by 1080px and center the square then put the x on the top right of the square this will make it reachable for all phones that have the ability to use the app in the first place. If you can’t control the ad system plz do smaller display adds on your app it’s the same thing but not a pop up please and thank you.
Great App! (When Shortcuts app used)
Some reviews complained that you have to manually open the app first then charge your phone. The app has step-by-step instructions to set up a shortcut. You open the shortcut app then go to animation (bottom middle) then press the plus in top right corner then choose when charging then find the charging play app in the app selection. This will cause your phone to open the charging play app when you are connected to the charging cable. One downside it that your phone will have to be unlocked during the charging process if you want to see your animation selection. If your phone is locked it will not open the app. You can also use your own photos or videos as the charging screen. Suggestion: More animation selections. Kinda hard to create one ourself if we want to have an anime character gif be the charging screen.Edit: I also seen some confusion on how to change the selection once its on the charging screen. Well you have to unplug your phone from the charging cable to see the main menu of the app. After you done that you can browse or create your own screens to your heart’s content. Once you created one or selected one of the existing ones you just have to charge your phone and it works.(Im not a developer I just have common sense lol)
Pressured To Purchase!
I’ve been using the free version as I don’t mind supporting by watching the ads in order to use the app. Now when I tried to change the animation and opted to watch the ads the app won’t allow me to close the ad and change the animation. The only option is to go into the App Store and if you close the App and go back into it and try again it just repeats this same process. So I just deleted this. As I’m not going to be forced to pay for this.

This is really awesome I recommend it when you’re charging it starts a video that’s all it’s very simple and awesome I love it it’s very entertaining and fun it makes me excited to charge my iPad! So yeah I recommend if you’re wanting to get this app it’s completely free and fun I recommend if you are thinking to get it and plus if you get it you’re not losing anything because it’s completely free!
