I enjoy the peace of mind using this application.

I like to use this application to record my driving. I go to Mexico often and the speed limits are very low and like speed traps. With the features in this application I have all the details should I be unjustly pulled over.A great application, how about Siri Integration to let me speak commands to start recording.Thank you

Using it for years

Best thing since sliced bread. Never quits. Always works. Put a cop in his place by a threat to show the judge five minutes of wasting his time because I wasn’t guilty of the infraction. I have one in the front and one in the back. I would like to see it 4K and be able to record more. I would pay again for the app over again for that.

Amazing App When it Works

I truly love this app, I can set whatever resolution I please, and I love the loop recording and time options. There is one thing wrong however. There are times where this app works flawlessly, and then there are times where it stops recording under a minute into my drive. I got home today to realize that only 56 seconds of my drive home was recorded. The app had frozen while I was driving. My storage wasn't full and I had no other apps open, so I'm not sure why this keeps happening. My phone was not frozen as it was perfectly responsive, but the app itself was not. If this is fixed, I will up my rating to 5 stars and update the review.

Wish List

I am very pleased with the app. Here is my wish list:1) Toggle audio record, i don't want to record my personal conversations, but at some point i may want to narrate or if stoped for traffic violation or accident I would want audio on. You currently would need to stop recording and go into configuration. 2) Toggle camera (front back) same reasons listed above. 3) Be able to select color of driving stats for me the white gets lost. 4) Make it more obvious that it is recording. The change in red it not very noticeable. I rely on the 3 dots on the right as an indicator. Sometimes i think it is recording and it's not. ~ jeff

Great Dash Cam

It works exactly as described, exactly what I was looking for. Many of these dash cams have a ton of extra features that make the app useless as a dash cam or burn your battery. Ran this cam on dimmed screen and battery save mode and only used 60% of battery over 3.5 hours of constant use. A few things I would like to point out:1: Be careful of your phone placement it can and will overheat.2: As with all dash cams this one will not record while multitasking.3: Please don't use it while driving, set it up and don't touch it!Highly recommended!

Music and other apps

I have had several of the free dash cam apps. Thought I would purchase one. This is great app except I can’t run other audible apps in the background. All other apps I could activate the dash cam and then minimize, open a music app and get it operating, minimize the music app and go back to the dash cam. The dash cam would record and I could listen to music at the same time. Same goes with Maps. I would like to hear directions while the dash app is running. I have the audio record off so I’m a bit lost here.

Needs cloud exporting options.

The app already has the option to use cell data, it would be nice to optionally have the application send the recording "chunks" to Dropbox or other cloud services in parallel to recording using mobile data therefore customers may not worry about the application stopping due to local storage limitations. Therefore the app can be used all day long for drivers.Application pretty much works as described in landscape mode only due to design.

Additions

Will this record with screen off?Can you create a “save location” so we can have it go to an external device we may have connected to our phones?Maybe add “double tap screen to save an incident” where the video won’t be deleted in loop if it was major enough for a stop but you want to keep for records later.Haven’t tested this yet but it did it with my camera in general: can we listen to music via Bluetooth if it’s recording or will it cancel the audio play for the video.Overall looks great!Just tryna figure out why this cost money and the others did not.

Better reliability, still behind on capabilities

Updated Review: recent updates have made the app a lot more reliable and fixed bugs. However a lot of functionality has been added to iPhone that is not supported by this app. The latest example I can think of is that the native camera app supports toggling 4K or HD video recording up to 60 fps on iPhone 12 models, but this app does not support that currently. The picture quality is lower than the native camera app.

Sig Shooter

I used to like this app until it stopped recording. Ran it on a trip recently and when I went to look at the videos there wasn’t anything there. I agree with one of the other reviews that the last update was bogus and killed it. I’ve contacted the developer but so far no response. I’ll give them a little more time and then I’ll delete it and try one of the other apps.Update: IT WORKS! I should have done this sooner but if you’re having an issue with this app, just delete it and then reinstall it. Worked for me.
