Would be useful, except for ad format.

Okay, let’s be fair: No one expects a company to develop an app with no reward for their work...so I expect ads, and there’s nothing wrong with that. If I like the app, I may purchase the ad-free version.The problem: This apps ads are time-consuming and intrusive. I need to use a conversion app during time-sensitive preflight planning, to convert different charts with different measurements...to determine if it’s safe to fly in remote areas. I don’t have 30-60 seconds every few minutes to watch an ad, nor do I need to lose my train of thought when I’m making decisions that could literarily kill me or others. So I cannot “try before I buy” with the ads this app uses—I cannot “give it a go,” the ads are too distracting for that.

Beat conversion app on Apple Watch.

Great, but if you could make the selection of units with the Digital Crown less finicky that would be amazing. It’s hard to select a specific unit since, it will skip back and forth. Perhaps increase the “stickiness” of each unit in the list? Anyway only useable conversion app on the watch.

It gets the job done, but could be better.

So I downloaded this app to give it a try. The ads were beyond intrusive and annoying, which made it hard to check out the app properly. So I figured it wouldn’t hurt to pay a couple bucks to get rid of the ads. I didn’t pay attention to the price beforehand, so imagine my surprise. My bad. Anyway, it’s a pretty decent calculator. I’m coming from the galaxy note, so I really missed having an all in one calculator and Unit converter. This one is okay, with just a few annoyances. First, the sound effects are very jarring. Would be better if the key presses sounded more like the iPhone default keyboard sound, in my opinion. Also, the +,-,/, and X buttons on the calculator seem to be in odd places compared to most other calculators I’ve used. Not saying it’s wrong, but it will take some getting used to.

Excelent app. Very useful and easy to use. My go to choice. The ads really are low key.

Unobtrusive ads on the free version won't distract your attention from the problem being solved. I may upgrade this app to the full version. I'd like to see a chemistry (soil) conversion feature, ph, macro & micro-nutrients values of common fertilizers and compostable materials etc...

Good app, but needs bug fix

Most recent update has caused the temperature calculator malfunction. When selecting Celsius the calculator works but if you select Fahrenheit it will double its value. Likewise if you select Fahrenheit first and enter the temperature it will not calculate properly in Celsius. I haven't tested out all of the other features so who knows what else may be broken. I'm also not a big fan of this new Ad screen that was added. I should've never updated..

Good but has lots of adds

This app is really good, overall. It has a lot of adds while u r trying to do ur work, the only way to remove all of the annoying adds is to buy it for $16 and for me that’s a lot, of I had to pay that much to remove adds then I’d rather use my regular app that the phone comes with. But overall it was a great app! I loved the backgrounds, the only thing I’d change is the price, it’s really high. But great app besides that problem, definitely would keep using it! Helped me a lot and I mean a lot!

Currency UI has issues...

#1 currency symbol should be left-aligned, next to the flag (currently throws off right justification for currencies without symbols such as HUF)#2 app should open with my same numbers as when closed (currently resets to zeroes)#3 if decimals are set to '2', currencies should always show 2 decimals (currently shows 2.30 as 2.3)#4 units should be searchable (there's too many currencies to scroll through)#5 the calculator and convertor should be either integrated, or on the same page. I'd like to add/ subtract/multiply ON the currency converter page

Ads Make Usage Impossible

This app has so much potential and could be so great as a calculator and converter all in one, but the full screen ads that pop up after each calculation or conversion (or even just to clear history) at full volume when my phone is on silent make it impossible to use. I understand that you can pay to remove the ads and maybe if it was a one-time purchase I would consider it, but a continual subscription seems a little over the top to me.

New Version Crippled with Inopportune Pop-Up Ads

I downloaded this app years ago, and it was great. Then I’m the last several years I noticed more and more ads that just always happened to pop-up right when I’m about to make a calculation and causes me to press the ad, instead of the calculator.This in turn results in me being taken to the advertisers webpage, when all I wanted to do was a quick calculation.I’m fine with ads or sponsors embedded into the app itself, but when you create pop-ups that hover right over the most commonly used buttons, it gets really annoying. (I now have to wait a second before pressing anything to make sure no ad jumps out.)Thankfully, my iPhone has a calculator so I only use this app if I’m on my iPad. But I will now be looking for an alternative app.

Too many ads- why not a "cheap" version?

I like this calculator, I truly do. But lately the ads are obstructive, repetitive, and thoroughly annoying. Why not offer a simple, "ad free" version for a couple dollars, like many simple game apps? I don't need, nor want a "Pro" version with all their bells and whistles- just a good clean functional calculator, which CalConvert has been until recently. I won't pay $17 for it, but $2, yes. You'll get more takers!
