It has potential. But needs a lot of work.

I will echo the review I saw for Bowhunter 2016. The game is set up to force you to buy in-game currency. The hunts don’t reward you with enough currency to play for free, so you’ll get a few hunts in, and you’ll be stuck.The other issue is the carry distance of arrows. They usually fall well before the target.If the developers fixed these two things, it could be a real Fanta game!Until then, play it for a few games, then delete.

Good game but it needs a lot of work

I’ve been playing for a day or two now and I’ve noticed it’s nothing like real hunting in some ways, for instance the range finder is accurate but irl range finders zoom in, and I’ll shoot a deer in the perfect spot and it just runs away and it frustrates me in all sorts of ways.

Needs serious work

In the older games you could atleast get 8 shots or so out of your bow before having to repair it. This game you can’t repair it and after 2 shots it’s somehow so bad that it shoots 3 foot. I shoot a actual bow and have never tuned it up and trust me, it doesn’t shoot into the ground at three foot. They are just trying to get money out of you. Save your time take up real hunting

What is happening

I like the game but after you get to a certain level you can’t kill anything. I made a head shot for a hut that was for venison only and the deer ran off and stayed alive. Then I shot the deer in the lungs and did the same thing. This game is buggy. And I wasted 4.99 on extra money thinking it was me and now knowing it wasn’t me. That is steeling.

Problems

I was actually enjoying this game for awhile until it stop working. I bought $8000 bow, i bought $200 arrows, i was buying all kinds of things and everything was working just find until after about stage 8 or 9 it would'nt work. You go in and hit the hunt button and all of a sudden out of no where nothing, didn't do anything. It would have been a nice game if it kept going.

Calibration

When firing the bow at any range. For instance the bow is set to 30 yards, when you check your range and use the pin (on any of the sights available) its way off and shoots right in the ground and you end up buying arrows constantly $$$$. If this problem was fixed it would be a great game.

Can’t play without real cash

So when the arrows run out, and you’ve spent the in-game currency you get at startup, nothing regens except energy. Meaning at this point if I want to continue playing the free version, I still have to pay real money to buy more arrows. I just deleted it. Too bad we can’t give zero stars.

Pretty Good Game

I like the game and the fact you can choose arrows, equipment, camo, etc in order to hunt; however, the bow needs to be able to be sighted in, maybe at tutorial or something in order to place shots. Rangefinder is accurate but when placing shots and shoot, the arrow isn’t flying to the deer at proper flight paths. Also, the sights should be able to be adjusted on point just like in the field. Other than that I like the game and it’s fun. Quite challenging too.

Poor quality all the way around

The graphics are okay but it won’t actually give you any energy when you wait and when you shoot a deer what would be a lung shot isn’t and when you use thermal to make the lung shot it also will not count that, I wouldn’t waste your time on this one

The game

I love it but it should not take like four shots to kill a deer I’ve killed a ton of deer and max amount of shots I use is two other than that I love the game it is super fun.😁

Bow Hunter 2017 is a deer hunting simulation in the American Southwest and Northwest for white tail, black tail, and mule deer. Bow Hunter 2016, a sister product, is a deer hunting simulation in the American Southeast and Northeast for white tail deer. Both simulations provide stalking and tree stand hunts, require camouflage, and good hunting techniques to accomplish successful hunts!

Choose the right bows, the right arrows, the right camouflage to get your shot to score! Play in tournaments against other players for in game rewards and real cash prizes! The deer in the 2017 simulation are easily spooked and will run quickly from the hunter if the hunter does not use the proper bow hunting techniques including the right camouflage! The simulation contains over 100 hunts, with increasing difficulty, requiring better and better equipment, techniques, and hunting expertise. Have fun and bring in your trophies!
