Great app

This app is great for children learning the alphabet. The voice over pronunciations is very helpful. It is also nice it has a tracing/painting aspect to it so the children can learn how to write the letters out; plus it allows them to see and learn to write both capital and lower case letters. I also like how the letters that are completed are put on the shelf, and the children can drag the letters over to the fridge. My niece loves to show me the words she knows how to spell by putting the letter magnets on the fridge.

Fantastic App

This truly is a wonderful app for my daughter. I am always looking for quality apps that she can use on my iPad and this is one of them. She is learning her alphabet and what a great tool to help teach her. She really enjoys it. The colors are vibrant and the graphics are enriching, which keeps her attention. Fabulous!

Perfectly simple!

My two year old absolutely loves this app. It's a great way to learn the alphabet and colors. My daughter picks out her letter and then goes to town coloring each one. Once she is done coloring, the colored letters can be placed on the app's refrigerator and arranged to spell words if you choose. You can also take a snapshot of your creation. As simple as the app is, our daughter absolutely loves it. It's perfect for younger children because it is not over stimulating or overwhelming. Overall, it's a great learning tool for younger children.

very good, please add lowercase letters

This app would be very useful in school if lowercase letters were added as an option. Most kindergarten children learn to write their name with the first letter capitalized and then the rest lowercase. Another idea would be to add in more color or pattern options such as animal prints, dots or stripes to keep the child's interest over time. Keep up the good work!

Fantastic Alphabet Kids App!

This a fantastic ABC kids app! Has nice animation sounds for all the letters and even the sounds they make when being said! It is very well done and easy to use. I think I'll be using this app a lot around my niece.

Great!

I love the premise of this app! As a teacher, I have two suggestions: include a screen with lower case letters, and allow the letters to be removed from the "refrigerator" back to the shelf. This would extend the use of the app through first grade. I'd like to tell the children which letters to put on the shelf, then see how many different words they can make.

Great for young kids!

My son just turned 3 and he loves this app. I've found that other apps meant to teach the alphabet are a bit too advanced for the very young kids. This app provides a great introduction to the alphabet with a creative component too. It's the best one I've found!

Good Alphabet App

My niece who is three likes to pick out the color to write with. She also likes to see the letters on the refrigerator. I only wish it would make you write the letters correctly instead of being able to just color. I just supervise her and make sure she is writing them correctly.

My twins love it!!

I wasn't sure about this app, there seems to be so little to it, but my 2.5 yr old twins love it! They both love choosing a letter to color, and then putting the letters others on the fridge. They are already familiar with their letters, and I saw this game reinforcing what they already know, and helping them learn the letters they area not as familiar with. The app says each letter as you pick it, and then again as you place them on the fridge. My son was repeating each letter after them. The one thing to improve it as others have said, make it possible to put letters back o the shelf, instead of just in the trash bin.

Great for very young kids

I don't let my really young son (just turned 2) watch TV because I heard it's not so good for kids that young. So I let him play with my iPad and this app is amazing because he loves the colors of the letters and it helps him learn too!
