Perfect

This app makes black and white pictures easy to make and modify, while hosting a beautiful interface. Blurring the lines between professional and everyday photography apps, BLACK puts editing in a modern, easy to navigate interface, while maintaining artistic abilities and performance. Crashing

In-App Purchase Can’t Be Restored

I made the in-app purchase for manual adjustments back in 2018. Now it’s telling me to I need to buy it again before I can save an image with manual adjustments. It throws an error when I press restore. Help!

First Class in B&W Film

I truly love the accuracy of the various films being emulated within BLACK. Not that I've encountered any bugs, but it's been over a year since it saw an update, so it hasn't even been optimized for iOS 10 yet. Hopefully the app is still being supported.

An amazing b/w photo app that stands the test of time

I first used this when it came out for windows phone (rest in peace) back in the day I'm so happy it stayed in development. It still remains to this day one of my all time favorite photo apps. There is no better black and white photo app. Period.

Just a demo?

This "free" app seems to be just a demo. After making some edits I was prompted to buy things. I didn't see a option to save the picture. This should be communicated more clearly in the App Store. It should have the "in app purchases " notice.

Simply the best BW converter

I am primarily a BW darkroom photography guy. This makes it very simple to get BW tones that are close to a proper darkroom print. That said, it only has some very basic controls so it can’t be your only editor. I do wish they included filters to simulate red, orange and yellow filters and a cropping tool. That would make it a great product for folks like me. As it is, though, it fills a hole that isn’t well addressed in other apps.

Disappointing doesn’t simulate grain

I would expect an app like this to simulate grain like TrueGrain on the desktop. Without grain it really doesn’t come close at all to emulating.
