What happened?!
This used to be my favorite app to keep up with birthdays. I stopped getting birthday notifications several months ago, even though it was set to remind me. I just tried to sync again with my contacts and I got a notice that says it won't sync because there aren't any birthdays in the contacts. Well, that's a complete lie because I update all of my contacts with birthday information. Now the app has deleted ALL birthdays that used to be there from my contacts. I don't have the time to individually input birthdays. I put in a few by hand because they are children for whom I don't need contact info. Now, I have nothing. I REALLY liked this app, especially for the Chinese zodiac info. Now I must find something else. This is very disappointing. These major problems and glitches need to be fixed, especially for those of us who paid for an upgrade. Again, so disappointing. 😞😠
Really??
App developer? Where have you disappeared? Ever since the new iPhone update I have been unable to open the app. The app will not work with the iOS 11 update. I am writing this review because this seems to be the only way to reach you, hoping that you'll read this review, because the link to reach you on your website does not work. I had all my birthdays and special dates on this app, ONLY saved on this app, so now I've lost everything! PLEASE update the app in order for it to work on iOS 11!!!!!!!!!! Or please find a way for me to be able to open it just in order to retrieve the list of birthdays I had on this app. I am writing this review NOT from my iphone and NOT from my account because for some strange reason it will not allow me to do so because it states that I do not have this app on my iphone although i do have it, it just won't open. I had to write this review from my husband's iPad that is not updated to the new iOS 11 update yet.
Very Poor Customer Service
I purchased this app last February 2019, I was unable to create an account to enable syncing with my other calendars. I contacted this app creator way back then, they did not respond. I just contacted them again, I hope they respond. I do really like this app even though I can't sync it with my other calendars. I have to enter dates manually, which is no problem. I haven't forgotten anyone's Birthday or Anniversary if I have entered them. However, I have forgotten the ones I haven't entered, this is why it is annoying I cannot sync my accounts. It is a great app but due to the lack of response from the creator and unable to sync I am giving it a lower rating.
Love it, but there is a bug
I have started using this app and love it, but my only problem is that there is a glitch on the sign up buttons so that if you try to log in or create and account it won’t let you. I wold love it if we were able to search for names. Also being able to add family that are related to a contact, for example, if I was making the contact for a girl named Jane, there would be a section where I could connect the contact of Jane’s mother and father. Also the celebrity’s birthdays and the famous events in history section doesn’t load.
The best
For a long time I was confused about why birthdays couldn't be made to appear on my regular calendar. Then I realized there was no way to do this easily, and started checking the App Store for birthday calendar apps. This is far and away the best one I've found. The UI is straightforward, you get alerts so you won't remember to send the card until it's too late, and days until the next time you need to send the card. It has really helped me to keep up with those dates painlessly. Thank you developers!
BEST BIRTHDAY TRACKER APP
I've been looking for days (literally) to find the best free birthday tracker app. Every time I'd download one it'd let me enter a few birthdays and then tell me to upgrade. This one doesn't do that. I've entered 43 birthdays and probably have a lot of space left. Unlike other apps this one organizes the birthdays by month, age etc. so now I don't have to drag the birthdays into order. It's also very appealing with many personalization features. Get this app and save yourself time looking around to find birthdays ( or other birthday apps!). Could not be more pleased, thank you!!!
Just what I need!!!
I have been looking for birthday calendar apps and tried a couple that didn't really satisfy me. Then i found this! I love this app! Neat organized UI and just does what it should. Adding occasions, birthdays anniv and you can add photos too, or import from facebook and voila! You have them all in ur calendar with these tiny profile pictures and cute little cake icon. Plus! You can actually view the person's page there's a link that takes u to their page where u can greet them or u can simply send them a virtual card with several ready-made greetings to choose from. Amazing!! Also it has extra features that allow you to see which celebrities are celebrating their birthdays and historic events that occurred on that day too! No other app does that! So yeah, i love it!!! Get it now!!
Best birthday/anniversary app around!
I am quite picky about the apps I use, and I'm happy to say I am SO VERY pleased with this one! I downloaded 5 or 6 trial apps and tried them all, but this one was the winner. And the recent update this week made an already great app amazing. Positives: keep track of birthdates AND any other special day you want to remember. Automatically upload birthdates of your Facebook friends. Push notification reminders. Add photos to the birthdates. Handy landscape month by month view. Automatically send a birthday wish to a birthday girl or boy. Shows how old the person will be on their birthday. Easy to read and click user interface. User friendly and easy to learn!! Just a great app all the way around!!
Very Very Satisfied
I got this app in January and I agree with the writers that say "don't waste your time" with other apps, because this is the one to get if you are looking for a good birthday etc reminder. I love this app. It is free and it is easy to use. The app allows you to import from your address book, you must turn all of this on in "settings". You can sync Facebook too. I have not experienced problems with app crashing. The app offered .99 cents upgrade also to remove adds and i think something else. Worth the upgrade. The app tells how many days ,hours ,min ,and second ,before the birthday occurs. You can set (up to) a seven day reminder on the app, and if I need more time, I just set a reminder for x number of days on my iphone reminder app., and its even got a tag to choose "send a greeting" that can be emailed or posted on Facebook. It also gives Trivia stuff : what celeb. born on that day, and Historical events. Oh!! And you can customize labels other than birthdays or anniversaries e.g.(death,vacation,baptism, etc). How sweet is that!!
What happened????
I had this app for many years. And LOVED it because I could do so many creative designs and use it for many other uses. But I didn’t use it for a while because I just didn’t take the time to send out any cards from this app. So I tried to open it and got a message that I had to update from the developer. Never seen that happen before, (repurchase something in order to make it work) well I repurchased it and it wasn’t ANYTHING at all like the original purchase. I can’t do any creating at all. I have no card design to chose from no writing a text on the card, no designing of my own. I really have no use for this and I don’t like it at all. If you would restore it to the original design, I could give you an awesome rating, and share it with others as I did in the past. But not Like it is now. Also I did purchase the pro years ago but I can’t open it and I have to purchase it again. I’m glad I downloaded the free one to see what has changed. I will not pay for this again and would not buy it in this condition. You had something great but what happened???
