Return of the King!

First just a quick note to the developers: Thank you for latest updates! Auto Care has been soldering on through all the iOS updates over the years, but it was long due for modernization. I’m particularly happy with the seamless iCloud integration; I dropped Dropbox years ago. Well done!I’ve combed through just about every iOS care maintenance/logging app in the App Store and IMO Auto Care is the only proper one out there. Extremely customizable, well designed UI, has all the functions needed for accurate maintenance and mileage logging. Absolutely worth the price for the full version!

Still the best

This was the 4th and best car maintenance tracking app I’ve tried. I’ve been using it for around 5 years, with 3 different cars. After the developer stopped updating it, I tried a couple others again, but even without any updates, and even with a few pretty annoying glitches, this was by far the best. I was super surprised (pleasantly) when the developer suddenly came back to the app, and there have been updates regularly for the last few months. The annoying bugs are gone, and there have even been some minor improvements.

Disappointed I lost my data from the Free Version

I used the free version for years up until recently when I discovered the app wouldn’t open; didn’t realize it wasn’t supported. When the free version stopped working I paid for this version, hoping to retrieve my data. The app attempted to import by old data but failed, so now I wasted money and still lost all of my cars maintenance history. I liked the app - I’m willing to pay for it but not if I can’t get at my past history.

Versatile

Is there an update for this app. App has been crashing frequently and also when entering log info the vehicles and equipment I have “In order” keeps throwing my recent logged info on the vehicle or equipment I’m working at the bottom of my list the I have to put it in order again. Any fix in that as well. Still love the app and features and being using this app for 5 years now.

Welcome Back & Thanks!

For Developers: THANK YOU for coming back and supporting/updating this app, and the quick response to the bugs that have popped up over the past few days! For users Past, Present & Future: I've used this app for almost 5 years. Got the free ver, then upgraded to paid as I liked it. Clean, simple & flexible interface. When support stopped several years back, I could not find a replacement I liked, so kept using. Yes, it had some crashes, but still always worked and I never lost data. Now that the developers are back, and the issues reported in other recent reviews have been addressed (reminders, competed tasks). Heck, I even use this to track Home Maintenance reminder such as filters (HVAC, water, etc) with a vehicle named "Home". Summary of current ver: Seems faster (especially with iCloud sync between iPhone & iPad) and with the return the ability to Backup (Dropbox support stopped with a Dropbox update way back), plus other destinations for backup (iCloud Drive and On My iPhone) you have more options.

Fantastic Car Logging!

This is the app I searched the entire app store for! I would recommend this to those looking for the following: - Comprehensive, yet easy interface- tons of useful reports, PDF printing, graphs- iOS universal app- iCloud device syncing- No third party account creation- customizable service categories - No subscription for use- Minimal, yet functional IAPs- Updated regularlySuggestions: - Add 3D touch ability to quickly add fill-ups from home screen - Possibly Implement “Siri Shortcut” where fill up data could be prompted for via Shortcut app - "Dark" themeBug (?) - iPhone 7 Plus on iOS 12When trying to add a photo to a service entry tapping to add photo from Library and then tapping all photos gives a brief view of photos and then a black screen. Using the Moments section works fine however. Overall, this app is super useful! The best of all the apps I found, purchased and tried. I tried just about every app that came up with a "car maintenance" search, and this was the only one that had everything I wanted. Great job! Keep it up!

Keeps deleting all my data!

Are use the free auto care for years. Then a couple months ago all my data disappeared! And I had to purchase a Auto Care 1. I went through my manual files i’m reloaded all my maintenance for two cars back into the app. And yesterday when I opened up the app to put in my fill up on my vehicle all my data was gone on both cars again!!! I am traveling and like having access to all my maintenance on my cars. I tried to restore but the download said there was an error. I’ve tried contacting by using the diagnostics but no one has gotten in touch with me! It’s a real shame because I used to love this app!!!

Best vehicle maintenance app

I will admit I haven’t explored the ends of the Internet for a maintenance app, but I have tried a few. In my opinion this does exactly what you need it to. It works like it should, the reminders are great and you can keep track of your expenses. I have only a couple ideas for improvements. I would happily pay a fee for these:1. Incorporating the purchase cost, loan or lease price into the cost of ownership report. I think this would be awesome. Maybe even have it project out your next five years based on your current rate2. Allow us to archive an old vehicle, so when we sell it we can take it off the main screen but still keep the information. And if you incorporated purchase price, also let it calculate sales price. 3. Maybe have some way of syncing with the app on someone else’s device. This way my wife and I can both log fill-ups and service.4. Share created services across my vehicles. For example if I create a service called “check battery voltage” on my Corolla, have that be available to pick from as a service on my pickup truck. Thanks again for a great app.

Autocare keeps me on track

This app allows me to track all sorts of metrics which is cool but it is invaluable when it comes to keeping up with servicing. Every detail the service manual Reccomend s has been programmed in as well as several annual and monthly reminders such as insurance, registration and tire pressure checks. I can forget all of those things now and let this app remind me what something needs to be done. My cars have never been happier! And I have never been more relaxed around Car maintenence.

My favorite app of all time

I used this app for many years. While most phone apps are not all that useful in real life, this one is. And it is pure joy to use. It was so well made that when the app was gone last year and I could not add it to my new phone, I didn’t even bother to find a replacement. I was just sad over an app… This app is that good. Simple, good layout, and simply useful. This is my one and only review for any apps. Thank you developer.
