Needs Work

I’ve tried this app out a couple different ways. The first way I tried it was by mastering a rendered track. It ended up causing clipping and distortion. The next way I tried out was directly in Garage Band as audio unit extension per track so I could dial in settings for each instrument. Everything was sounding and working out great, that is, until I closed the project. Upon reopening the project all sliders were reset back to flat. Also, it appeared the app was not taken into account on each track until I when through each track one by one and opened up the app via the mixing channel. But, again, all sliders on the 6 band EQ were reset. Developer, please look into this because it’s frustrating spending all that time mastering only to have it all wiped out when reloading a project. I also dislike the static images used on all the presets. I suggest either making the controls on the images be editable or get rid of the images all together and substitute in the EQ band with sliders preset to the music genre and allow the user to tweak it from there.

When importing from MicSwap audio lapse over itself. It’s the most irritating thing. You almost can’t master your recordings. Please fix this bug. It is not user error. I’ve uninstalled app and reinstalled twice. Same issues. Please fix this bug

Just what i was looking for

Ive been into music production for a few years and in the beginning the thing i always had trouble on, that really slowed me down with my workflow, and kept me from publishing my tracks right away was the mastering portion. This app right here pretty much does the trick and gives me that little or alot of UMPHHH, ive been needing in my tracks.

Key feature missing

We need to be able to export mastered audio in a .wav in order to protect the audio quality, but all I’ve gotten was .mp3. Once this feature gets added, the review will switch to five stars, but it seems a little silly to spend this much money to not be able to export to waveform files.

I’ve had to quit using it on iOS since update too

I thought I’d pop it in the iOS version. But it’s making the same static noise. It used to work great. I’ve been told 3 times to restart. You may really care, but this is frustrating for something that used to work. Thanks, have a good day.

Features

The app is dope! Would love to see a version with racks so you can create your own master chains (eq, compressor, limiter, spread) and the ability to save custom presets and plugin arrangements. Also, would like to see ( hint, hint) a clone of Waves Mercury bundle by you guys! Lol Maybe as presets like you already have without moving knobs! Great work

Excellent Support

The app has been working great for me and I don’t usually write reviews but since I had sent a suggestion to support to add the ability to save all the manual EQ settings and was immediately responded to and incorporated into the program I had to write this review. And when I say “immediate” I mean the actual app was literally altered to accommodate my request within 24 hours from making said request. Which is noteworthy and deserves an acknowledgement. No Customer Service

Just wrote a huge negative review that was then destroyed when I switched tasks for one second so my concise version is THEY DON'T ANSWER CUSTOMERS' EMAILS, THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY AND THIS APP IS USELESS TO ME BECAUSE THEY DON'T CARE TO HELP ME UNDERSTAND HOW TO USE IT! If you ever choose to respond to my emails I DO NOT WANT TO TALK TO GARY BECAUSE HE'S THE ONE I TALKED TO LAST TIME UNTIL HE STOPPED RESPONDING AFTER 2 EMAILS AND HIS ANSWERS WERE VERY UNHELPFUL! Potential buyers: this app is not simple so you will have to try to figure it out yourselves because again THEY DON'T COMMUNICATE! Don't believe me? Waste your money and find out!

Awesome Customer Service

This app allows me have a user friendly experience for mastering my music. I’ve been using this app for a while and I’m truly happy with the final project that I’m able to put out. The customer support is top notch. I reached out to customer support for bug issues I was experiencing and ended up going back and forth with customer support for several days until the problem was corrected. Thank you guys again for your help and support. I would definitely recommend this app to any producers or musicians that’s looking for a simple hack to mastering your final product.

Equalizer Only

It’s fine, as long as people understand this is not a full music mastering tool. There is no compressor, limiter, etc. There is only an equalizer, and a gain control at the bottom where setting it at 100% seems to auto-normalize the track — raise the levels to just below clipping. The graphics you see in the preset photos above are just pictures, not working interfaces. This equalizer does have more bands than the one built into GarageBand iOS though, so I can recommend it for that.
