Very useful app

Complaints about missing airports are old news - every update adds new ones. Complain to your airport authority not the app developer. Doesn't use a data plan, quite useful when you land somewhere not covered (or covered expensively) by your plan. BWI has a better (and free) map of the Wash DC Metro system than does the Metro app.

Has gates; has bugs

I got this app because I wanted to find gate locations within the airport. It has this information but it is hard to find and has bugs. For SFO, an airport that I use a lot, the gates are shown under "boarding areas" listed a-g. The terminals are 1-3 plus international. It does not tell you which of the boarding area go with which terminals or which gates are in each boarding area. Because I am familiar with the airport, I know that United has terminal 3 and that is boarding area F. The actual boarding area shown when you select F is area A (which is also shown in its correct place under A)..if you do find your correct boarding area, the gate numbers are small and difficult to read on my phone (iPhone 5). On the terminal overview it shows parking areas a-g. If you knew that parking area correlate with terminals, although more than one letter can go with a terminal as there are 7 letters and only 4 terminals, you could figure out the one or two "boarding areas" that go with your terminal and then could probably find your gate (assuming you are not looking for boarding are F at SFO). So, if you really want to find your gate location and are willing to spend some time, you might find it on this app. I couldn't find another app that has gate numbers. If you find one, I would try it before this one as it is likely to be better.

VERY LIMITED USA AIRPORTS !

This has the potential of being a useful application for the domestic USA air traveler, but as of Sept 25, 2010, it has information on only seven (7) airports in the US and three of those seven are in Florida. So you can see that the remainder of the US is covered by only four airports. This makes this application of little use to the air traveler in the USA.Prior reviewers noted this same deficiency and since time has elapsed since those reviews it appears that this "app" is more a hobby, rather than a serious work, for its originator.

So disappointed

Normally I don’t leave poor reviews. However, this app had me so excited and I thought it would be my answer to finding gates easy, dining, shopping, restrooms. Well, Maps are distorted and semi blurry when you zoom in on them. Maps are not complete like Miami. It has such potential to be the greatest Airport app out there. Needs better coding. Needs clarity in Maps, Needs more details. Needs {{{YOU ARE HERE FROM GPS. }}} Get back with me when you clean this app up!

Bad App

Doesn't work at all. Crashes when opening any map. Don't waste your time on this one.

Not useful for me!

I downloaded this app hoping to get info on JFK Airport. It is not listed so I wasted my time and data on this non useful app.

Some limitations - but it's free, folks

Waaah waaah waaah - someone crying over a free app that doesn't do something minor, and so they rated it 1-2 stars. How many times have you read this and are just sick of it?Yes this App lacks some US airports, but it has an absolutely amazing list of supported international airports. And it's free! There are some limitations such as only 1 airport view per Favorite category, and the aforementioned dearth of US terminals, but I have rated it 5 in an attempt to balance out the whiners.

Amazingly Informative App

I travel heavily, averaging roughly six countries, eleven or so states and a bunch of provinces. So, this app was welcome news. Now I know that the second largest country on the planet has one small airport in an extremely remote part of the nation. I never knew that. I immediately went to the index to find just one airport map of any airport I have been in for the past several years. Interestingly, not a single one is still there. Clearly a lot of airports are being razed around the world. I didn't know that either. It looks like next year I will have to stay home as at this rate there won't be any airports left. Luckily I now have this handy app to show me the maps for every major airport in California. Clearly, if one admits it to oneself, there really is no point in going anywhere else anyway, so of course those maps are the only ones you will ever need. Particularly the one in San Francisco.

No good airports listed.

Not very many airports. I just flew to 4 airports and none were in the app. Denver, Salt Lake, St. Louis, Las Vegas. But Valdosta is. I don’t even know where it is.
