The mono synth I didn’t know that I needed!

As a musician of over 45 years I didn’t think there would be another mono synth that I would need ever again. Boy was I wrong. This is a songwriters dream. I haven’t been this excited since the original iOS Alchemy synth (not the one currently in Garage band). Fun and easy to get great sounds and patterns from. Applause to Jakob and Kai!

Wow!! My teacher Jakob Haq made an amazing Synth with one of the Best app developers!!

I wouldn’t know much about the “IPad world” with out Jakob Haq and his amazing videos!! Funny! Informative and all around good to watch and learn from! During the shutdown I grabbed Kai Aras SF-1 filter and really fell in love with it. Soon after my hunt for the “delay” and watching Jakob Haq’s video I bought the FD-1. So with out hesitation to support these amazing people BUY THIS synth!! You will be nothing but impressed! I can wait to see what is next! ..... by the way this is my ONLY review on the App Store.. Apple Pay these guys!!

Great synth, sick sounds

Great design with excellent presets. Nice to find a synth app thats not bombarded with a hundred options and crappy interface. The UI keeps it silmple with enough configuration under the hood. Look forward to updates and encourage you guys to continue working together. I loooooove the sounds and rate/shape config tool. That sold me.

i have screenshots. first time opening app it told me

that the neon nightmare 100+ sounds IAP was FREE.... let me repeat, FREE. so i clicked "check it out!" and then it pulled up an appstore purchase window for $0.99...... its only a dollar but thats not free... ? what an absolutely terrible way to give a first impression of an app, especially one held in such high esteem and even co created with haq attaq... im sure its a mistake? anyway i will email the devs with my screen shots and if they fix the issue by either removing the button that says "free" or (preferably but im not going to whine and beg) actually give me the IAP for free, then i will change my review. it was a bad first impression, i have spent literally months looking for a synth that i can make modern riddim style dubstep sounds with (infekt, AD, styn, the whole "Monsters" crew, or "The Riddim Project" ) and i finally decided to try this one (it was going to be this, shockwave phase destructor synth, or cyclops) and yeah, not a good first impression... maybe i should have went with cyclops because from what ive seen you can get some NASTY sounds with that synth.... well we will see i guess.

Wow the app I’ve been wanting for.

I’ve been wanting an app like this, and this is everything I wanted it to be. I feel like this is a Novation mininova (bass tones ) inspired but but it’s own way of doing its wubs. I feel that this is even better than Sonivox’s wobble. Thank you so much Jakob for making this idea coming to life.

Scream Issues

I enjoy the app so far but there is an issue with scream button. every time I try to change a different preset, the screen button wigs out. I have to actually jiggle it inside the app in order to have it reset to “0.0”. It’s definitely a workflow killer if you want to try to navigate clearly through the presets. I wasn’t sure if it was a bug or a feature at first but after reviewing the videos and seeing that no one else seem to be running into this problem, something is off.

Thank You Guys For The Work

I’m in a hurry at the moment but a quick review: This is the grit, grime, killing, destroyer synth I’ve personally been missing and by a couple of my favorite dudes!! I opened Agonizer up from inside AUM, Sending it data from Atom sequencer, while DrumComputer was on the kit and presto.....instant dirty gratification. For this I’m grateful. Great developer with Jakob, old school in this iOS games vision and synth sensibility’s and this is what we have. A fresh new synth that is super easy to dial up big, interesting sounds right out the gate. Highly recommended and big ups to you two for smashing it in a great way in a sea of generic synths and machines. Good work here.

Are you serious?

Wow is all I can say! I am a vocalist for an industrial doom metal band Kryo-Flesh.And this app far exceeded my expectations! After I figured out how to work the basic functions of it. I legit have the start of two concepts for two new songs within less than 15 minutes! I can’t recommend this app enough and I would go as far to say it is the best synth based app I have purchased by far for the sounds you can produce with it! Seriously a top of the line app! If you are thinking of buying this stop thinking and press buy immediately! 😎

The Best iOS Bass Synth available period.

The specs on the synth are really impressive… But the proof is in the pudding , it sounds STELLAR! This is the best Bass Synth on the App Store hands down. The rhythm section is what drives most music , if you don’t have good bass and percussion you’ll miss the boat. For a measly 10 bucks you can have sick subsonic frequencies!

Awesome job Kai and Jakob!

The app is great! I really love the UI and it’s ease of use.I wouldn’t have gotten into music production at all of it wasn’t for Jakob Haq. I felt I wasn’t able to since I didn’t have space for a home studio or a laptop but I found Jakob’s channel 3 years ago and began to learn how to produce quality music on iOS. I’m happy to support him he continues to inspire me.
