Setapp introduced US (ADGuard)

I’m new to Setapp, but my first impression is impressive & when you don’t think it’s possible to go ‘above and beyond’, they out-do themselves with this VPN in their suite. To go to the Setapp to get setup it’s like going to a dating site for a date, simple enough right? After being setup with ‘Setapp’ and ‘AdGuard’, it’s like their first match on the dating site is becoming my wife. I went to them for a specific reason, and they surpassed my expectation right out the gate! Thanks!(4 stars is simply because I haven’t been on the app for more that 30 minutes, and I don’t see anything that shouldn’t merit 5 stars, but when I get acclimated to things I will come back to confirm, deny, edit or repost a corrected rating. Too early to be sure, but I’m buying the ring)

Best VPN compared to others

I love to go deep to investigate and make test. After long time testing other VPN like Surfshark and ITop VPN, AdGuard is best choice and I will say why. The reason is because AdGuard VPN will give what you are looking, speed, privacy, security and excellent location for watch streaming, play video games and unlock websites, etc. Other VPN don’t talk about this and they promise to give you everything but it is not true, they don’t give you everything when you have other platforms like Apple specially and that is bad. AdGuard after I made the test and see I have the same features in other platforms, it’s perfect for what you are looking. Nobody talk about AdGuard but I did. My opinion now: “if you love culture Japanese and you are looking a good VPN, AdGuard is the best choice”

Integration made easy

The concept behind AdGuard is great. Content blocker, DNS, VPN. I will write this review and give an honest review. My review is also based on some what top tier internet speeds. So, I will get that out of the way. With the VPN connected and DNS-over-HTTPS I experience no speed issues what so ever on WiFi. Of course, mobile it’s not as smooth depending on location but that’s normal. Using the general, privacy, and security content blocks along with the DNS, and VPN I’m able to easily navigate through Safari without issue and apps like Reddit. More personal apps like banking I have to turn off the dns which is quick and easy to do.If you need a per device privacy solution this is it. All three solutions made simple. Please note browser fingerprinting does skew the whole “privacy” concept. So do some research and see how it applies to Safari and iOS. With that said I do have to point out that AdGuard is a closed source company. Like most VPN providers. Though, there is no reason not to truth them. However, the idea of trusting one company to safe guard all of your privacy is always a tough pill to swallow. Though, AdGuard does pass all of the tests and says the right things. They really do offer the perfect solution.

Please make it better once I say this

Hi my name is Joseph Camara I need this vpn legit LEGIT AND AT 100% excellent meaning that right now and I want this right now only for Roblox that when I play Roblox. There are no more lagging or ping and that those lagging and pinging have been put to a stop and no longer will be a issue and another thing please make it better once I say this and have already said it other then that I expect to see it and expect it to happen legit on time . Love you all 💞♥️♥️😆😆😆😆😆 this is the bestest and the only one and only best vpn out of all vpns they aren’t better though they may seem it we can over come them love y’all bye

It works but not in all cases

Well, the app seems to work for most of the cases, but in case when you use apps like Facebook it does not conceal your location. I can see that Facebook still see that I’m in USA even though the settings in the AdGuard VPN are set to a different location. Now even though I changed the location in the Facebook app somewhere in Europe it still sees as I’m located in USA so bunch of ads on my Facebook wall get based on my location. I mention that I have set the Facebook app to not have access to the location or anything like that. I tried different settings in the AdGuard VPN even in combination with AdGuard ads blocker and still not working to conceal the I.P. The ads are still coming in on different apps you might use on the iPad or iPhone. The issue is to block more than just web browser ads. For that there are different apps to do just that for free.

Connection stability - Incredibly slow - App looks good, Ninja characterer’s aesthetics

It pains me to give this app such a low review because I know, given some the time, these adGuard devs will knock this out of the park just like they did with their other products! So long as Apple can mind their own and not pull any of their weird stuff. However, it’s just not quite there in its current state. And I’d be very hard pressed to pay for the premium at this point in time. It seemed to be rolling pretty well but something was causing it to frequently get disconnected then connect again and so on and so forth. Which may have been causing the other issue of when it was able to get connected it was at extremely slow speeds and and sometimes unloaded and I had to get rid of it for now.! But I will be waiting on to come back and change this review once it’s where we expect it to be, in due time! Because as I mentioned, the app itself it’s looks very good!! I think it’s even cleaner looking than the original app(s). Which are vanity amazing! . The difference imo is the new face of the app. The ninja very cool footing backgtound . All I can say is I can’t wait to be back when she’s really ready to rock

It needs improvement but overall it’s good

I hope the can let the free users have more defensive options when by getting dox or something or someone trying look for your information or spam us.As will hack us look into the computer or get into the microphone I’ve been brick before all I’ll this I’ve mentioned it’s not fun.-_-I don’t have a lot of money but a free vpn application that could help the people that don’t have much but can provide the tools to protect are privacy and around us.The the people that has money if them more ft. And other thing’s gizmos and gadgetsBut the mean thing is everyone should have the right of protection and privacy. Free or pay.

Updated review..

This disconnects to such an extreme, saying the phrase “a lot” doesn’t do it justice. It can really slow your phone down. I question the reviews here, I’m not sure Apple would allow fake reviews but I’ve used this on two phones and my iPad and they all experience the same thing. I don’t experience what these reviews are saying, so these reviews to me are questionable. iMessage doesn’t work properly, when switching from WiFi to LTE, messages won’t come through until you either turn on and off airplane mode or connect to WiFi again. Same thing with emails, they don’t come through when switching, or sometimes in general, WiFi or not. FaceTime calls are garbage when on this vpn yet not with others, so it’s just this vpn. The good: it works with your Adguard Pro..but why wouldn’t they just add what Adguard does on their VPN? So many VPNs have ad blocking features and many other things, paying twice seems like a cash grab. There’s times where it does work though, and you see it’s potential, so that’s that. Hope it improves, but I wouldn’t spend money on a yearly subscription just yet.

Force me to rate you, you get 1 star

I barely had the opportunity to click through half of the configuration settings, and I get a pop-up to rate the app/service. That really annoys me, but what's worse is that my ONLY choices were to rate the app (which I didn't feel like doing yet, I didn't have enough experience with it), OR report a problem, which took me out of the app.I didn't want to report a problem, and I didn't want to rate the app. But you forced me to do something out of the app. So 1 star, blanket policy. Do better, stop freaking bugging you users to make crappy ratings.If this were a free period, I'm probably just stop using the app, and you'd lose a sale. As it is, I paid for a year, so you having for that long. But you're starting with a negative score already, before I consider renewing next year.
