Best Game Ever but VR would be awsome

This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen! There is so much to do in this! One suggestion though, which would be so cool is if there were a VR version. Maybe you could have a whole different app where you can buy little shapes that could sense movents so you could feel the shape and you could connect them through the app and then use it once you had it. Now that would be the coolest thing I would ever see!

Very Fun!

This app is super cool and I can only imagine how much cooler it would be in VR! My one suggestion is seeing as how two finger rotation rotates around the XY-plane and three finger rotation rotates around the XZ-plane, maybe four finger rotation can rotate around the WX-plane? It would also be cool if three finger drag moved the object along the WX-plane, although seeing as how you can do something similar with dragging both the slicer bar and the object at the same time that isn't as big of a deal imo.

Some things!

This game is great, and I wish there were more like it! Here’s some things that I’ve wanted as additions or changes:The Great Icosahedral 120Cell seems to be missing some faces/cellsThe Star Polychora having more individualized descriptionsCubinders and Spherinders, even if only in one scene (together with a duocylinder of course)Expanded 2D/3D cross-section section-I did a little coding myself and discovered that anything more complicated than an icosahedron looks lame-Platonic Solids, star polyhedron/a, and cylinder?4D rotation: XW, YW, ZW-A W-rotation button, so any X, Y, or Z movement is actually an XW, YW, or ZW rotation?A way for a YZ rotationI don’t really like the wavy texture on some shapesThere isn’t a simple way to align shapes for a vertex/edge/face/cell first projection, although that might disrupt the toy box aesthetic-4D rotation might solve this

Title

This is one of the best games I have ever played! The visuals are neat, I like the concept, and I find it very interesting how there is an interactive explanation about how the 4th dimension is viewed and why! It was also fun playing around with all the toys that came with it, and I fell it was very worth the money! Good job development team!

Best game in this dimension

I really love this game! This new anti-gravity and 4D force section is amazing! By any chance you can make a 4D doll in cross section with some new shapes? A hyper cone maybe? Good luck. P.S. Can you also maybe make a 4d hyper solar system that looks exactly like our planets except in 4d and make more hyper planets?

The best

One of the best conceptual games (if I can call it that. This is real theoretical mathematics here) on the iPhone right now. Something fun for the kids. But I play it more trying to understand and conceptualize and defragmenter and reconfigure years of institutional learning. It’s a quite whisper from a person telling the truth ima room full of loud, ignoramuses. I can’t wait for meigekure. Just form the concept it’s like u have to make a million games in 1. A million landscapes and 3D space synchronization that I can’t conceive of right now. Phenomenal.

Amazing!

A new feature I would really like to see is to add some 5D shapes to play around with. You could add another slider on the left side of the screen (or maybe the top) to slide along 4D slices of the 5D world. That would be really fun. This app is my favourite 4D app on the App Store. There are so many unique shapes and toys to play with, it can entertain you for hours! One of my personal favourites is trying to fit the tessaract into a (hyper?)hole. That took me a long time, and really gave me a better intuition about 4D.

Update Killed One Level(?)

This is a nice game and all, I’ll give you that, really sets the tone of how the fourth dimension (when it comes to shapes) gets out.One small issue though, is it appears that the Klein Bottle update has, well, apparently killed the Gyrochoron 8,2 level (perhaps), and is now considered unplayable (probably for others) at the time I’m writing this review.Still though, very nice game, love the update. Best of luck 🤞

This is as much 4D intuition as I’ll ever gain.

You said in the explanation we’d have to imagine the cubes in a tesseract as overlapping, but they don’t overlap at all in the fourth dimension. We don’t have to imagine them as overlapping. I played with lower dimensions, and I found a three dimensional angle where the same squares aren’t shown overlapping. I found a 4D angle where the same 3D cubes are not shown overlapping. I can almost follow that new direction now.

Beautiful app, but...

The app is beautiful and perfect in every way for these highly unusual shapes, but one tiny suggestion would be to have an option to keep the object in view at all times. That would actually help gameplay a lot. Dice, for example, would be easier to keep in view, like the 120 side. Then, you don’t have to go searching for where you can see it properly.

Description

"I am not sure that I've ever seen a more compelling 'show-don't-tell' educational tool than 4D Toys." –Ars Technica What if you received a box filled with mysterious toys from a fourth spatial dimension? • Playfully explore and marvel at beautiful shapes powered by a groundbreaking 4D+time physics system. • Poke, throw, roll and watch as they disappear into a dimension you can't see. • Get an intuitive feel for how four-dimensional objects behave: • Become a child of the fourth dimension. In this case the 4D is not time but a 4th dimension of space that works just like the first three dimensions we are familiar with. If you count time these toys are 5D.

It turns out that the rules of how objects bounce, slide and roll around can be generalized to higher dimensions, and this unique toy lets you experience what that would look like. Features: • Over 130 beautiful interactive scenes to play with, with more to be added in updates. • Groundbreaking 4D+Time Physics Engine that uses new mathematics created for this project. • Multi-touch & Accelerometer support for rich interactivity. • 2D/3D "Flatland" Interactive 10 Page Book/Explanation that teaches by analogy about a fourth spatial dimension. • Special buttons: Anti-Gravity, Wireframe Projection, 4D Accelerometer and ability to export meshes for 3D printing. Some things to do: • Manage to fit the hypercube into the hyperhole! • Use the 4D shapes as fancy, perfectly symmetric, fair dice that have 5, 8, 16, 24, or even 120 and 600 sides! • Unbind Rings using the fourth dimension! • Make a stack of 4D hypercubes and smash it! • Set up an interesting path for a few 4D dominoes! • Make levers that throw hypercubes into the fourth dimension! • Use multitouch to "squeeze" out objects into the fourth dimension! • Play in a 4D ball pit! • See Tesseracts (i.e. 4D hypercubes) slide down slopes! • etc...!
