Great to use for patrol

Usually people who I contact via phone see a “no caller ID”. It is hit or miss if they answer or not. If they don’t answer they have to go through the hassle of calling our busy dispatch center, transferring the call etc. With this app, it actually gives them a random number to call back and it notifies you via the app. I find it very useful for patrol when your trying to do follow up or your RP just wants a 10-21 prior to responding. When the RP calls back it even gives them the disclaimer, “ if this an emergency hang up and dial 911”. Thanks guys!

Absolutely amazing!

This app is an absolute MUST HAVE for every Law Enforcement Officer. The system works flawlessly.The best part of this application is I can use my personal cell phone at work and not worry about accidentally giving away my personal number to a citizen. I can comfortably separate my personal and professional calls now.This will remain on my phone for the duration of my career and I will be suggesting it to the officers I work with.Thank you for making such a great product!

When it works, it works

A great app when it works. I have to force close the app after every phone call to make another one. Sometimes they connect with the intended person, but on my end it does not show connected. So I have to force close the app and try again, but they could hear me. Kind of aggravating. But it’s better than giving out my personal number and being harassed off the clock. So it is what it is.

Most Useful App for LE

Having been in law enforcement for 16+ years, I’ve used everything over the years from dialing *67 before each call (leading to many ignored calls) to buying a second pre-paid phone specifically for work use, to the hassle of having dispatch dial numbers for me and connect me. The 10-21 app is by far the most effective and economical resource. Even with an agency-issued phone, it is still extremely useful in allowing me to keep my number private to avoid calls while I’m off-duty, busy at work, or becoming someone’s “personal deputy” whenever they need something after I return their call and expose my number. The app is user friendly and rarely has any glitches or issues. Highly recommend for ALL law enforcement officers, and I look forward to the upcoming premium version with even more features.

Patrolman

This app is a must have for patrolman on the go. This allows you to call people back utilizing your personal phone without giving out your personal phone number. 10-21 has great customer support and has created one of the best policing apps on the market today.

Great idea

The idea behind this app is awesome. It save me from having to drive to the station to make call backs. Or rely on dispatch. I've blocked my number before, but no one answers blocked numbers anymore. I'd give 5 stars except for the quality of connection. Even with full LTE service, or connected to wifi. Voice quality is distorted and cuts out frequently. Much like a very bad cell phone connection. Most of my beat partners have deleted the app because of this. Fix it, and it's gold!

Great App

I’ve been using this app for three years now, and I’m surprised by the number of people who aren’t able to sign up or experience poor call quality. My agency only just transitioned to .gov email addresses last year, but I was able to sign up just down three years ago. If I recall correctly, I was able to upload a copy of my commission to verify my Identity. Several of my coworkers also use this app with no problems.

Almost perfect

This app is great for basic patrol needs and especially for new CI’s. I would rate the app 5 stars if I was able to receive push notifications more consistently. I find myself having to check the app frequently while working and expecting a call back. Probably a user error but I’ve gone through all the notification settings and can’t seem to make it work! Fix that and I will have zero complaints. I’d love to see a text option or chat feature incorporated in the future.

Problem with premium text feature

That app is awesome and if your using it for free it’s definitely 5 stars. I bought the premium for the text notification function, I was a little disappointed when I tested it they sent the recipient and advertisement to download their video application.

Great app with great intention.

I did love the app. Worked great when I had data service, however had to stop using it. We are on a 2gb plan for 3 people in my family and unfortunately the app used enough data to get my wife’s attention. Yes I did use it for work related purposes, however I’m the one paying the cell phone bill. If the app used my normal cell service which is 1. Unlimited and 2. Normally still available in low data service areas....then I would still be using it today. Love the idea behind it, but can’t use it.
