Needs work

Can be an enjoyable and sometimes learning game, however I got the word INTL. there is no period on the keyboard to write that word so trying to guess it was impossible. Punctuation should not be part of an abbreviated word and guessing that was annoying. BAKAW was another.Then they updated it and made it worse. Finally had to delete the app

Wrong

Often times I have played this game and it has told me that letters are in the word but in the wrong order. No matter how you try to work it, you can’t make a word. Case in point the word was fudge, it told me there were two E’s in the word one was in the wrong place. I tried every possible combination even though I knew there was no way I could make a word with the consonants that were left. And today wasn’t the only day that happened. I’m deleting this game and finding another

Great game w/o ads

Updated review: sooooo, I can’t see the word if I don’t guess it right? Why??? Also, archaic and unreal words are still being used. Can’t say I like the new format, enjoyed seeing my ranking against other players. It is flashier than before, but not as user friendly.Love this game, paid to remove ads. Well worth it! Allows you to put letters in any box which helps a ton. Lost a star in review due to non usable words. So-so isn’t a word you can make, so why is it there? The developers said they were deleting non usable words but today I got intl. (short for international) HOW DO YOU PUT IN A PERIOD? Fix this problem, then it is perfect.

Bad App Advertisements that cannot be closed

I realize that these game apps make their money by selling advertisements. This game has more than its share but the game was still worth playing even with the ads. However, there are some ads like for “Figgerits” that cannot be closed after you watch the ad. You can try to wait it out but will never allow you to continue your game. You end up losing your progress on the current game when you swipe it closed and it can end your streak count. If these type ads continue to show up, it’s not worth playing and I will delete the app.

One Glitch

After guessing the correct word, a white square pops up & covers the game board. Even though one of the choices is to view gameboard, it will NOT allow that. Instead, it goes right to a page called STATS. Please correct ASAP. UPDATE: if you’re not going to correct the game to be able to view the gameboard, then at least correct the option to read “View Stats” because that’s what it does.

Impossible Win

I loved this game so much and paid to play it ad-free. Even though some of the words were not real words, I figured them out by process of elimination and was on a 560 win streak…UNTIL the word intl. came up. I tried every letter at the end of intl and nothing worked. I had to lose my winning streak, and the word was revealed as intl. A period is not a letter and there is no option to insert one. This makes no sense at all!

Fix the word database!

This is a cute app, fun to play, and scratches the itch of those that want to play Wordle more than once a day. My only issue, and it’s a HUGE issue, is that non-words come up far too often as what I’m searching for. Today I hit the most glaring issue: the word was “so-so”. There is no dash on the board - even if that was an ok word, that answer cannot be given in the game. I’ve also come across yehch as an answer, verry…. You get the idea. Get a database of legitimate 5-letter words, and you’ve got a winner. As it is, it’s sometimes fun, sometimes a lesson in frustration.

Mostly good

I’ve gotten a few words that were not common and extremely hard. My latest word was not even possible to guess. It was so-so but there is no option for a dash (-)Also when I used a hint it said the word started with an o but at the end the word was so-so.Overall fun and I will keep playing… but just know sometimes the words are extremely difficult and possibly impossible :(

Great Game with One Small Flaw

I love playing this, but after I’ve solved the puzzle there is no way to X out of the stats screen that pops up. I’d like to be able to see the board again afterwards in order to look over how many guesses it took me to solve it!

Not in Dictionary

So far after playing this game 87 times, we have encounter at least 10% of the words are not even in the dictionary. Makes this very frustrating to play. I believe these words are erroneous so that you have to use coins or watch their ads to solve the puzzle. Some examples; verry, tomoz, aline, chook, etc. Are the developers just plain illiterate? Save yourself the money and stick with the once a day NYT Wordle game.
