SUGGESTION (but LOVE this game)
I absolutely love playing this game. It combines fun with a bit of education. However I do have one suggestion that could help its users learn even more.I noticed that when you find the Wikipedia page early, I have the urge while waiting to read through the Wikipedia articles I had come across during the game. However, I am stuck on the screen and cannot leave the app (or else I will get kicked out). If the developer can figure out some way to allow early finishers of the race to read articles while in the app and while waiting for other competitors to find the page, this app could be even more fun and feed my love to learn. (And it will become in my mind a 5 star app)
Wow. Absolutely Amazing (with one little request)
I can’t believe it took me this long to find WikiRaces (luckily I’m way faster in-game lol)… it’s basically my perfect game. If you’re into “connecting the dots” kinda stuff and have a wide range of knowledge, you’re gonna love this.My one request (which is the only reason I’m withholding one star) is to better incorporate solo play into the game. Like make it accessible from the menu, and more importantly, have stats for solo play (games played, WikiPoints, avg time, etc).I only play this solo and it would be really great to track my solo play and be able to see my improvement (or lack thereof) over time.Other than that this is BRILLIANT 🥰
Love it but awful connection
I love this game. I really do. The one thing is that the connection is TERRIBLE. It takes forever to connect to another player, and even then, the page refuses to load or stops working after the first or second round. This is no matter the Wi-Fi, service, or whatever else. There should at least be a single player option or an option to play against a randomized past game with the same categories. Anything for better connection.
Probably the best game on the App Store
The concept is great. The way the game plays is phenomenal, and it looks great. Some attention is definitely needed on the quality of the private game servers. My group of friends have all picked up this game and are obsessed, but get frustrated when trying to get everyone in one lobby reliably. It works for 2 or 3 people most of the time, but 4 or 5 is almost always shoddy.Download this app so they can address these issues!!!
can’t get the multiplayer to work
I’ve been having a lot of fun playing the single player version but I cannot get the multiplayer version to work. Even after sending invites or searching for any global player, the option just doesn’t seem to work.
Needs online play or practice mode!
I would give this game 5 stars if it had some sort of practice mode or a way to play online players. It is a lot of fun to play with friends but not everyone has the app. I would love to play this game on my own spare time. Please implement this into the game! Thank you.
Fun but multiplayer is a nightmare
Love the concept but trying to connect with your friends is an absolute nightmare. There’s no consistency. Sometimes it works, sometimes one person out of the group is left out completely and stuck in an infinite “waiting for host” screen while the others start the game, sometimes multiple people have that problem. Also occurs when a new round starts, randomly. Everything else about the app is great but it’s extremely inconsistent if you’re looking to actually play against other people.
Great game, rarely connects though
I am definitely inclined to give this game 5 stars, its super fun and especially fun to play with friends. The only reason to not give it 5 stars would be how spotty the connection is and how rarely this game actually works to connect to other players. I regularly try to play this game with strong wifi connection at home and sometimes it takes literally minutes to connect me to another player, or it just loads and loads and never connects even though it says i have proper connection. Playing off wifi is nearly impossible and sometimes it randomly drops the connection when im in the middle of a game. If these connection issues and bugs were worked out, i would definitely give 5 stars as the game is incredibly fun and mentally challenging in a good way, however im barely ever actually able to play the game due to these issues. And i understand that it “could” be my wifi connection specifically, however if im able to play COD Warzone on my wifi, this game should work and most of the time it doesnt.
Love the App
I love this app. I love playing with my teenage children and cannot believe that I am just discovering this app now. I see that it is available by the month or year but has no option for a larger one time donation.Could you please add a provision to “buy a cup of coffee” or something like that?
I want to love it but it never works
My family has tried repeatedly to play this game for over a year. Whenever we all get together for a gathering we try to play. EVERY time, there’s one person who can’t join the game. We try and try over and over. We try with different people as the host. We try with the person who can’t connect as the host. On the off chance we get all the players into a game, someone always gets kicked out. Sometimes it’s the host who gets kicked out which ends the game for everyone. It’s a great concept. I really want to love it but it never works!
