Really difficult to use offline

I recently downloaded some episodes to listen to offline while I travel, but whenever I try to returning to the window while an episode is playing, I get like 20+ "no network found" error messages in a row, preventing me from rewinding or pausing or whatever, and it's getting really annoying. It happens whether I'm on airplane mode or just not connected to a network. Why is there no adaptation for offline listening? Doesn't that just defeat the entire purpose of downloading an episode?

Highly recommended

A great way to have constant access to some great podcasts. It's streamlined, runs fairly quickly, few hiccups. The selection of podcasts to which you can subscribe is varied, interesting and fun. The catalog seems to grow daily, so I check the new ones almost daily to see the great things that have been added.

Great little podcast app

Unfortunately does not support car play, so podcasts must be started from the phone. Play pause and skip forward and back works well though.

Ok app; A little too complicated

The app itself is okay. It allowed me to subscribe to the "hidden" podcast for Watch Out For Fireballs, but otherwise it just makes subscribing too complicated. There are too many steps to finding and listening to podcasts. Also, you cannot download the podcasts in order to not have to stream them. I want to mark older episodes as played but I can't because I can't figure out how to do so with podcasts that I can't download. Weird setup. Needs simplification.

Battery drain

Listening to a downloaded podcast for an hour while driving and my battery is down to 71%. Check usage 45% is this app for background activity. Had already turned off cellular data for it and set download on WiFi only. If it wasn't for the fact this is the only way to listen to a set of podcasts I had to pay for I would delete this app immediately.

Best way to consume podcasts

Absolutely awesome. You can get episodes before everyone else if your favorite podcasters choose to put them out that way. Can get featured extra content that nobody else gets.

Could be easier to use

I have to scroll through a few pages to get to the only podcast I have in the app. Also, videos on the app take an incredibly long time to load. I also wish I could set the app to stop playing when the podcast finishes, instead of going right on to the next episode, which I often don't particularly want to listen to.

FAIL

Ok, so I'm a podcast producer of one of the shows at this forum, and would like to express my disappointment with libsyn and their media crew for allowing this tragic state of affairs to go on for this long. I only share this due to my hopes in your ability to improve this travesty. I won't list the many issues you already know is happening, because I have a list of issues on the producer side I believe you need to address first. With that being said, know that you have provided my with an ability as a novice to produce product, but can we please step up the customer care for both sides of the spectrum? You are a gatekeeper, and I am under your authority, but know I am slightly frustrated, and need to see improvements please.
