Hopeful, but needs fixing

This app absolutely has potential, it’s promising, but it has a few things to fix. First of all, I was hoping to replace both Google Docs and Microsoft Word app with this one because it was featured in an article that it has a better privacy policy than Google, but it is not optimized for mobile. It shows me the desktop-like version with tiny letters, despite being a mobile app version. The Microsoft Word Mobile app, for example, has a “Mobile View” option in its settings; OnlyOffice can possibly adapt that feature into its app.

Nice, Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse Support needs fixed

It’s a very nice app, I really appreciate that it can connect to Dropbox.It worked decently with my Bluetooth mouse and keyboard on my IPad Pro 2020 model until very recently. The app won’t let me enter data into any fields of a spreadsheet unless I disconnect my bluetooth devices. I have to enter data in by using the touch keyboard only.Hopefully this Bluetooth device issue will be fixed soon.

Infuriating - crashes, no auto-save, everything lost

Thought it was a great doc editor until it crashed after 2 hrs of writing and editing, leaving no trace of all the work I’d done. There is apparently no way to save while in progress without closing/leaving the document, and no auto-save, so it is useless unless you like banging your head against a wall for fun. On iPad gen 5, running current iOS, editing file from Dropbox. Posted problem to help forum.Update: The only response on the help forum is for “more information so we can reproduce it.” I already gave all the information I have. It occurs unexpectedly, with no predictable trigger, so I can’t do a video capture. That wouldn’t help anyway because all it would show is me typing along and then the app closes. No autosave or manual save feature is a HUGE deal-breaker.

Good Commercial Office Alternative but

As a free (and open-source software I believe?) alternative to all the commercial office suites, OnlyOffice does a good job. I do suggest that the app maker and offer better integration with the Files app and include into their menu the ability to open files that are not already saved into the application, similar to the “open local file” option on the Mac version. All in all, thank you and keep up the good work.

Almost everything I need

Everything I've seen so far in the word processor is very good. The interface is much better than the others I've tried including Word and Pages. The functionality is a great subset for me, I haven't found anything missing that I need even though I know that it's not as full featured as some.The one problem, though, is pretty big: the cursor sometimes just goes away. I'm not sure what triggers it - it will be there on part of the displayed text but disappear on other parts.I'm using an iPad Pro 11" with the magic keyboard, which may play into it as sometimes when I use the touchscreen to position the cursor it will bring it back, but not always.If I can help you track the issue down please let me know how.

How is this free???

What a gem!!!! I’ve read through others’ reviews and am now aware there may be some bugs to work out (I haven’t run into any yet) but I’m literally stunned that the developers have so far kept this app free. I’m guessing that once the bugs have been worked out it’ll be commercialized but in the meantime kudos to the developers for such an incredibly stunning piece of work!!! Such an incredibly complex piece of programming and extraordinarily well-executed. The human factors have been so well-engineered I’m guessing this was developed by a team of ex Microsoft or Apple developers. GREAT WORK!!

Works Great Paired with Nextcloud

This is the best MS Office and Google Drove alternative out there that I've seen. It works great with Nextcloud, in particular.However, why is it that every time I try to open a file on the iOS app from the cloud does it say "Error Could not open file" when I click on one? But when I click for a second time, the file opens. This is really annoying and has always happened for me.

Needs more languages

Hey, So far I liked the app and it’s pretty useful. I can’t say it’s perfect but the app can cover most of we need. The best part is it’s completely free and that’s why we’re all here for. I’m little upset about the language options. I’m Turkish and unfortunately there is no Turkish language. Overall 5* for the app

Spreadsheet crashed and loss all data in the file

It is very unstable. I start to use this cross-platform office alternative because I have windows PC in the office, Ubuntu PC at home and a ubuntu laptop in the cleanroom. I record all my experiments processes and results in a spreadsheet. Then, it crashed yesterday when I tried to use this app in my iphone. The worst thing is that even I am sure I saved it each time when I finished it and reopened the file when i wanted to modify it (of course, because I work in 3 different computers and an iphone). After it crashed, everything went to zero. The file is restored to its original version which is empty when I create it on 9/3. Interesting, why shouldn’t it simply be the most recent version. That should be most straightforward. The data is really really important for me, and it takes another 3 days to measure it. It can be a general bug for recent onlyoffice software or only a bug of this iOS version app. But anyway, I will not use it any more. It is really a disaster. This is the first time I want to give a zero star.

No Dark. Mode

Firstly, I love the PC desktop version of OnlyOffice. It is sleek, simple, and great for long-form writing and document creation. Even better, it has dark mode.I was excited to discover an iOS version existed, but disappointed it doesn’t have true dark mode. The dark mode iOS version is activated by your iPad system settings and it only changes the app’s interface dark, not the editor itself.As someone who stares at a computer all day, almost everyday, dark mode is a must. I’ll stick to the desktop version only.
