I love this app! But one thing...

Ever since I have used Effect Shop, I loved it. I love the templates, overlays, just everything about it! But there are some things that could improve Effect Shop that would totally make it better:What about adding Layers for overlays? It’s a lot easier to edit with them without having to tap on each overlay, delete the overlay, and adding it again to overlap with the other overlays. It’s also kind of a pain for me, having to accidentally tapping on an overlay and it overlapped with another overlay or having it disappear below the other overlays to the bottom from the other overlays..It’s hard to explain, but I just think it’d make this app a bit better and easier if you were to add layers.Other than that, I love this app! I still edit with it whenever I’d like to!

I love this app! It’s just well, I don’t even know what to say!Its an amazing app and I love that it has so many features that you can work with, though it would be pretty cool if you could also edit videos and not just photos but that is just a suggestion! Besides that this is an amazing and outstanding app I seriously just downloaded it but I’m love’n it!!!Thats the end of my opinion!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😍😊

0 STARS!! Horrible ads EVERYWHERE!

2019 review: What happened? This app used to be great (see former review, below). Now there are so many ads everywhere, plus an obnoxious watermark, I absolutely HATE it! Cannot even exit a full-page ad! No way to pay to remove ads or stupid watermark. Way to ruin an app! Do not waste your time downloading this trash!Previous review from many years ago: Have just starting using it, but learning what a fantastic resource this app is for creative artwork from photos. Great features, such as tweaking color, focus, etc. of foreground templates and focus, color, filters for background. So much more to discover.

Good starter app for beginners to learn the basics of editing photographs.

This app would be a good app for kids or teens to learn how to do the basics of editing photos. However, for intermediate and advanced users the frames are not of great quality and the pictures do not center the image. Additionally, the cropping tool is not very sophisticated you should be able to not only choose the size of the photo & shape, but also adjust it by the angles and all for sides to the users liking. I gave permission for this app to access my photos so that I could edit with it; only to find that it was showing my ads in photos that I was choosing to upload and that had me concerned about my privacy. This app needs work.

I love this app, but it’s flaw is rather major

You can’t save as you go. And you can’t undo. I’ve spent an hour creating a graphic on here because any minor adjustment, not only do you have to rework it with your fingers instead of just tapping an “undo” button; the interface is NOT user friendly. Having the “back” button actually be the HOME SCREEN button is absurd. It’s the biggest button on the screen and it doesn’t save ANY of your work. You tap it, you’re done. I tap it on accident 99% of the time because it’s next to the button I need, or because, I don’t know, I need to go back to the icon section but this back arrow button actually represents the home screen, and if you click it, you’re done for! Any work you’ve done is gone forever. I’m livid right now even though I’ve used this app for months and looked past this flaw. It’s a huge issue. I’m fuming.

The best

Probably the best photo editing/over lay app on the market. And everything is free. There isn’t one thing you have to purchase in the app, and there is TONS of content. This is my new favorite editing app hands down.

Needs more

I actually like this app. there’s nice edits you can do and great topography. but there’s some things that should be done to this app. i really don’t like how i have to start an edit on a picture all the way over because i can’t go back. people shouldn’t have to start over their edit in order to fix a mistake. another thing is that there should be light affects. like for a picture, i should be able to add creative sunlight or shadows and stuff like that. even though this app needs more, it’s still a good editor.

Amazing App!!!

This is bar far the best photo enhancing app I have used. It has so many stamps and frames to pick from and you can easily change color and transparency. It even has a variety of quotes to choose from. My only complaint is sometimes it's hard to choose the stamp you want to use there are so many!!! Most definitely would recommend this app.

One of the easiest ways to crop photos. I probably would check it out more if there weren't so many ads on it. I just do what I do and get out though.

Awesome!

Ok 10/10 review!! I really like this app, me and my bff make collages of our pets!! We love this app I wish I could send a picture! All you have to do is: So there’s a bottom row with a few little collage taps, you press one and it brings you to your pictures, you pick all the pictures you want and then press select and you can pick your collage style!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜!! Love it great app so glad it’s free
