Love WriteRight!

2017 Update:Great app for expanding your creativity (as opposed to “basic, no-frills” writing apps—you know who you are)! The quick and efficient synonym lookup is exactly what I need, and the phraseology feature is also very helpful. Highly recommend WriteRight for creative writers!

Right on, WriteOn

Right on folks for a great application; used for prose, poetry, polemics, protestations, passionate appeals, proactive punditry, process analysis, and policy "wonking"! Love this app! The readiness of synonyms, antonyms and definitions are powerful tools to any writer under any circumstance! I wish that I had had this back when I was in college and graduate school (late 60's early 70's). This should be spread out to any colleges and universities , high schools that value the learning of the written word. This would be extremely valuable to teachers of writing and law.The only thing I miss is the access to web content to embed readily as quotations?

This is the best for quick thought jots!

Not only is it great for quick thought jots but works perfect for that last minute speech or hand out......that for me happens a lot. I like that I can do a zippy document ...then just hit a button and get auto formatting in an emergency!The presentation is clean and looks like I took time with the style even when I just do instant formatting!

Write like a pro…

What I was looking for in almost every text editor I tried thus far was the feature to get synonyms and suggestions based on what I've already written. The appreciated MS Word feature I missed when I got accustomed to write down my thoughts, notes and emails on iOS devices.But now by the grace of this remarkable app, my writings are decorated with esthetic words and I owe it to myself to admit that it works much better than MS Word concerning synonyms, common expressions and phraseology.It supports markdown, syncs your documents automatically between your devices thanks to iCloud and Dropbox auto-backup feature, and brings you an enticing experience because of the clean and uncluttered interface on both iPhone and iPad.Well worth the price. Recommended…

Write Right with Write Right!

This app is my companion for whenever I feel the need to portray my thoughts in the canvas of a paper with words. There are so many essential features that help you carry on your magic thanks to the hard working and clever team. For me, the best part is the synonym and antonym function. It proves very useful when trying to add pizazz to your work. The undo and redo feature are also convenient cause we all know how indecisive we can get when on our writing adventures.Therefore, whether it be a book report, essay, or journal entry and even lyrics/poetry, this app is sure to become your best friend! After years of using several writing apps, this remains my go-to app!!

No keyboard

Ok I only have one problem so far and that is the keyboard doesn’t show up in settings and I can’t figure out why. At first I couldn’t get to do anything but I found the little gear tool that very nicely gives you options and alternative words partial and whole sentences. I don’t have time now but I’m very excited to start using that portion of this app. If we can get the keyboard working I’d really be a happy camper and would redo this review with five stars because if fully function I believe this is gonna be the best app going as far as grammar help goes. So I’ll send support a msg with figures crossed that your responsive as u should be for $9.xx “Rightwright”?

What happened to all my work?!

I primarily use this app for writing poetry. I had a lot of pieces saved here, and only here. Open the app today, and all my work is gone? Where is it? And how can I get it back????

Much better than MS Word

MS Word is complicated like all their products. It's done by techies for techies not for unwashed consumers. WriteRight is easy to use and effective. I think MS makes it difficult so they can sell courses and charge for support. MS 10 is the same way in comparison to IOS. Richard Lewis

App review

I like the app, but it can be unstable at times, it bounces around obviously making it very difficult to write on. For some reasons, it constantly wants to return to the top of the page, making it a hassle to write on.I would recommended it to others, but be advised, that it can unstable, at least on my iPad !
