Why has my review disappeared?

There were more than 100 critical reviews a while ago - where did they go? The marketing team needs to stop hiding reviews and face the fact that customers do not want yet another Weverse app, especially one that limits or seeks to replace the physical cd distribution of a beloved artist. Maybe it has benefits to Korean fans, but this is frustrating for global fans who already have good music platforms for digital music.

Great digital album option

There is a lot of ignorant misinformation being spread about this app. My opinion, is that this no different than iTunes, just another way to digitally purchase an album and a platform to listen to it. Also I hope everyone who reads reviews does their own research and not blindly follow what is being said and that includes my own opinion. Again I think this a good option to help support your favorite artist.

J to the Hope, Jack in the Box!

J-Hope decided that his album would be available on this app so I am excited to try out all the new features and content included with the album here. So far the app is working well.

already a mess

i am so tired of the experimentation. bring us a complete concept without errors. ive already found a typo in this app. “Cancle” instead of cancel. i dont need a 4th service for music. stop being greedy. give us physical jack in the box albums. this is not what we want. we dont want nfts either just to cover all bases.

Disappointed Fan

This app is disappointing. I don’t understand why it would need to track my search history; that’s creepy. I’m more disappointed in this app; it’s not necessary. iTunes already exists. This app is like a more disappointing version of iTunes. It's hard to use, and it's glitchy. The streams on the app don't even count towards any chart. I know charts aren’t supposed to be important, but they have made BTS a bigger name. Even if I didn’t care about charts, I like having a physical cd that I can play in my CD player. I like having a physical booklet that I can look through from time to time. I like having a nice cd case that I can hold while listening to the album.

Interesting Idea

I like the idea of giving another option for fans to purchase the album, but keep the bulk of what a typical album has digital. Digital photo book, listen to the tracks, read the lyrics, etc. Then you get a couple photocards sent to you physically. A lot of K-pop stans collect photocards, it’s a very big part of the K-pop culture. In the past you’ve had to buy them through a third party individually or you had to buy albums upon albums and then you end up with a bunch of excess physical albums you have to sell, donate, or what have you. This way you cut out the cost of the physical album creation which is reflected in the cost of these digital albums. The only downside is sadly since everything comes from Korea and shipping is outrageous due to post pandemic price increases you may find yourself paying crazy prices for 2-3 photocards which is the only con that I personally see. If only the albums $10 (average) price point was accompanied by a $5 shipping fee. Sadly this isn’t the case since even if bought in the US at a more expensive start price point $15 it can’t be shipped as Media Mail through USPS (the cheapest shipping rate) since it doesn’t fall under the requirements of media mail (since it isn’t physical media, it’s digital media and photocards) but nevertheless I still really like the idea. Bravo to HYBE/Weverse’s marketing teams for continuing to find more ways to provide for every type of fan.

Limiting artists’ and fans’ options

Having just a digital option not only takes away the choice of us choosing whether we want a physical copy or not, but it also limits the artist from expanding his audience. Any outsider will most likely not know these methods of listening to music. Please reconsider and give us physical copies as well for j-hope’s album.

Ridiculous

A wannabe iTunes and unlike apple music, your streams wouldn’t help out the artist in any way on this app. It’s ridiculous because I would’ve loved supporting Hoseok as a soloist but I refuse to purchase and album without the actual album part. Not all of us purchase albums for the pcs. Spare me the “environmental” reasoning behind this decision because you do not care Hybe. And I refuse to let you use my love for the boys do jumpstart yet ANOTHER app.
