I’m enjoying playing with the free version of this app on my new iPhone 11. But there is one thing which needs to be fixed. The watercolor paper template is not full size. I prepare my photos for processing in the app to 8”x12” at 200 dpi. Then I save them to my phone and run them through Water Lili. The watercolor paper template is not big enough for my file. Half of it makes a nice diffuse pattern, but the rest makes a weird streaky pattern which is really obvious on skies. Also the problem with a third of the conversion not being saved in the vertical format is not fixed in the free version. It’s easy enough to work around, just by rotating the file a quarter turn before processing, but I’m wondering whether that’s a benefit of paying. Anyway in general this app is lots of fun and quite effective, even on my phone. I’m sure it would be easier to tune if I had a Pad,too.
This was my favorite app and I paid for the upgrade, but the new upgraded one won’t work on my iPad. I guess it requires more power than my first generation iPad Pro. So unless you have a newer iPad don’t waste your money like I did!
The free one is fun, you have to watch a few ads, but it works for a limited few things. I found the upgrade to a paid app. Give you a notice it is not available for ipad as of yet. I am using OS17, they haven’t caught up with it yet. Too bad. I would gladly pay for an upgrade, when it becomes available. I have their Fotor program, which works just fine, but you have to scale your file down a little or rotate it horizontal, to save it, or it cuts off the top a little.
So I’m trying the app out. So far I think it’s a pretty good but when I’m using a picture that is portrait view and save, it grays out the top portion of the image. Haven't noticed this with a picture in landscape view yet but I’m still messing around with it. Fix this and it’s near perfect. For me anyway.
Art looks great! Would have upgraded but the app wouldn’t save the whole photo. The top half was always missing. If you know how to fix that I’ll download it again since I defeated it.
Lovely, perfect editing. My photos look impressive…until they are saved. The entire top portion of photo is gone.Is there a fix for this?Plus, I am unable to upgrade in the USA, and must watch endless ads.
Professional for make a beautiful photo. Now all my photo look like a professional pictures. I love this app.
Absolutely loved it until I realized that when it would save it to my photos, it would chop off a big segment of the “watercolor”. Assuming that is intended since I’m not the only one reporting it, the designer should state that you can only practice with it and you have to buy it in order to save your whole watercolor. please let me know if you have fixed or changed this, as I will change my rating to 5 star.
I was happy with the pro version I paid for, but it hasn’t been updated to work with the latest iOS. I downloaded this lite version, but there are so many ads and features blocked it’s super frustrating. Very disappointed.
An easy way to turn photos into painterly works of art! Highly recommend!
