The weight is not synced with apple heath and there isn’t a way to change it-so my water goal in app doesn’t match what is actually recommended. I did manually change my water goal, and the app settings shows the higher amount that input, but the main status screen does not reflect my updated water goal so it’s not accurately showing me my intake relative to what I need.
Great app, displays so much of your daily health functions. Gave 4 stars bc the “upgrade to pro” doesn’t go away after you upgrade? And also that you have to download another water to teach your water intake instead of just gathering it from this app alone. 👍
The functionality is amazing. I love being able to adjust all the drink settings as well. That being said, I wish we could increase the basic amount past what the apps limit is. A good rule of thumb from nutritionists is half ones body weight in ounces per day and the app will not allow this. Most importantly, the diuretic drinks need to take into account water loss. One will need to increase water consumption to counteract the loss from caffeinated drinks. Other than nutritional lacks, the app works great!
This app absolutely stinks. If I put it on the widget it either doesn’t record what I’ve tapped or it double records. When you reach goal it says that you Still have more to go. I’m giving it one more try today and after I paid for it I will most likely be throwing it away.
I love the heart and stress monitor, so I bought this as a companion, but I’m finding that it’s not reading from the health kit. I use other apps to enter in my coffee and water, and although this is set to read from the health kit it never gets updated so there’s no information, I did not want to put this in a review but I could not find anywhere to get support from the author please if anyone knows how to fix that so that you can read from the Health app to acquire water and caffeine information I would appreciate it. Thank you.
I like this app because it helps me to remember to take in fluids as. Sometimes I get busy and forget and when I catch cramps, I remember. I haven’t had any cramps since using this app. I have a concern. When I initially installed the app on my phone I wasn’t able to input my correct weight in pounds. I’m certain this affects my plan of fluid intake. How do I go back and input my correct weight?
For a paid app with at least 2 paid tiers, the app itself + a drink customization tier, you expect it to work well. I’ve tried both 1.5 hour interval and timed water reminder notifications and they do not work. I don’t get any notifications on my phone nor my iWatch. (The notifications are turned on and I’ve selected times to receive them.) The WaterNow app does not appear in the main iOS notification settings list, either. There’s a misspelling of the word “goal” — “gaol” in the app — that I see every time I hit my daily water intake goal, and also a “most drinked” category, as opposed to “most drank.” It is also unclear as to what “Smart plan” is, but it is a toggle on the app’s settings.I also can’t adjust daily caffeine if I mistakenly add a caffeinated drink or type in the wrong amount in ounces. It is not reading my weight from the apple health app, either.

As a new user the most valuable tool to get me to like an app like this is Edit and Delete. I haven’t found either option in this app. Once you make an entry you can’t fix or delete it. Example, I added the two cups of coffee I had in the morning after I got into bed to read that night. I didn’t know yet that I could have edited the time but only before I pressed enter. I tried to delete them so I could re-enter with the right data (because it makes a difference I think in how they account for how much caffeine you’re drinking at night). No bueno. Not possible (or is that option hidden?) Also, I try to drink 8 glasses of water (64 oz) and changed what I thought was the default, but it’s still showing up as 45 oz. What’s with that?Aside from that it seems like a good app. The data connects with other health apps. Very cool. You just have to remember to make your entry when you drink your choice of fluid. In short, the jury is still out on its usefulness for me.
Can’t delete an entry. Mistakes happen on my part. I have tremors and multiple entrys are sometimes unintended, but happen. I like being able to do entries on my watch, but it would help to customize the icons and size of drinks. I still have to go on my phone and correct entries made on my watch. This is a neat little app. A few little tweaks and it will be great.
