Story needs improvement but beautiful art

The game itself is great and the art is beautiful. It could be because I’m picky with my stories but I think the writing could be a little better. The male characters are great and lovable but the main character gets annoying at times. There are times where she completely overacts or excessively complains. For example, she acts as if her life is so unfortunate when in reality she’s pretty blessed to have what she has. Or the $10 incident where she made a big deal over missing $3. Overall, I just think maybe tone her reactions down a bit so that they’re a little more realistic and appropriate for her age because at the moment she acts like a teenager instead of an adult. I’m not that far into the game but this is what I’ve noticed so far. It could be that her character in the beginning is like this on purpose and it improves down the line. Regardless, I’m still going to continue playing. In all, it’s a fun game and I’m looking forward to future updates.

Fun and Different but Becoming a Cash Grab

This game is the only game I’ve been so consistent with for so long. It’s fun and I love my boy Yooha. I’ve been playing this game every day for over a year and have definitely spent my fair share of money on it. However, lately it’s been feeling like the developers are just trying to convert this from a free to play game to a game where you always have to spend money to get cards from events and not even just a little bit.They want you to spend hundreds per month to get the cards. The game used to be so good about giving you another chance to finish getting pieces for cards from previous events but now they want you to pay for that too! Even the “step-up” event feels cheap (or expensive if you’re talking about the player). It’s sad to see the game go down such a ridiculous path when it’s free aspect was the one thing that drew me to this game so much. If events like these continue to exist, I’m probably going to delete the app and never look back. I’ll tell my friends to stay away as well :/

Best Mobile Otome Game!

I've played quite a few mobile visual novel/otome games in my time, but they just never seemed to compare to computer/console visual novels in the slightest. I always hated the pay-to-play/win aspect of mobile games.This game doesn't have any of those issues. This is the first mobile otome game that I've played where the premium currency is feasibly obtainable without spending any real money. If you do ads + diamond item in shop + missions, you can get 200+ diamonds daily which is more than enough for the average player. I'll happily watch ads if it means I don't need to spend money. Some events in the game technically need money in order to get the reward however. I HATE the events where you need 9,200 collectibles in order to get the SSR card. A free player has to throw THOUSANDS of diamonds to get that number, if you've even saved up the many in the first place. I can sorta forgive that though cuz it's only one of the type of events the game has.The art is absolutely gorgeous and it's also not mind numbingly difficult to get cards like other mobile otome games. I just wish I had more use for the "normal" cards because I advanced the game too quickly to use them past chapter 1.Yooha also has my absolute heart omg.

Disappointing...

Update: Two weeks later and it’s still SUPER difficult to upgrade cards. I have 3 up to 5-star level, but the 5-star jobs are for SR or higher cards. Impossible for one-week players. You have to make it possible. Downgraded to one-star until this kind of thing gets fixed.The translation also needs a lot of work.========This game has so much potential. There’s a lot of good things going for it. But as I new user, I’m so disappointed and frustrated by one impossible task in two separate event challenges. The same task that prevented me from earning a new player 7-day check-in reward & will likely keep me from earning the Wanna Festa reward: Complete 3 5-star Work.To even attempt 5-star work, you need 5-star cards. After playing diligently for 7 days straight & even spending a bit of money and a LOT of gems, I’m nowhere close. To get to 5-star, you have to evolve cards. To get material to evolve cards, you have to play multiple levels multiple times, including limited elite levels and pretty high levels that I am struggling to reach without being able to evolve and/or rank up cards.I’ve gotten every single other task completed, in both the check-in and the Wanna Festa. This just leaves such a bitter feeling, and is making me reconsider continuing with an otherwise charming game.Please ensure your requirements are more fair to newer users, especially those who don’t have extra money or a significant amount of holiday free time. Thanks.

One of the best otome games!

The gameplay is similar to Mr Love: Queen’s Choice, but with interesting extras. I love how you’re so generous with resources — especially with diamonds and stamina. The boys are actually really nice to be with, while the MC has actual character development. She goes from being a negative, pessimistic person to someone who learned how to be kind to herself and to others. I did find some grammatical errors, but other than that, I found the English version (or translation) to be perfectly understandable and written. I do hope the developers increase the chances of getting SSR cards because I’m at the stage wherein I need at least one SSR card, and my luck is nowhere to be seen. Other than that, it’s an amazing game to play!

One of my favorites

Similar to Obey Me! in formatting, but the story is better, the characters are sooo likable and have true depth to them (Biho is my favorite 🥰), and the wins are attainable. If you can’t do the main story because your level isn’t high enough, you can do side stories while leveling up. Spending money is not a necessity to enjoy the game by any means, but if you do there’s a sort of “loyalty program” so the more you spend the more they give back daily. Overall, the story has been worth the time it takes to unlock things, the art is breathtaking, it doesn’t take too much work to unlock, there’s plenty to do, the heroine isn’t helpless, there’s depth to every character, and no one is perfect. Also no one has been abusive so far, which isn’t a given in otome games! I’ve spent probably at least an hour a day on it for the past month, I don’t usually even have a game for a whole month so that should say a lot!

I never leave reviews

Listen…. I never leave reviews but this game right here. It has a system like MLQueensChoice, Obey Me, and that new game Tears of Themis (and for those who like BTS, BTS World). You level up and evolve cards in order to better your stats and advance in the story, and of course you get to flirt with the love interests. The story is so good and you can choose between Korean or Chinese voice packs (the story is fully voiced and extra stories as well, I’m not sure about events since I barely participate because the storyline itself is so good). The Mc is so pretty and the outfits are beautiful ❤️ User Interface is so pretty too and the guys are gorgeous; I would DIE for Biho ;;;;;; I love this game so much. Please devs, never abandon this game ❤️

Some translation problems but overall great!

The one thing that prevents this from being a solid 5 star is the numerous translation issues. The main story is okay for the most part but side stories are riddled with typos, grammatical errors, and “google translate” level translations. While it’s never quite bad enough to make the game unplayable, it does detract from the otherwise enjoyable story. The story and characters are great and well written - the MC has personality and spunk that makes her a joy to read about. She has very human weaknesses - she is vain and shallow at times - but I find this vastly more appealing than the standard cookie-cutter, do-no-wrong MCs in other stories. The love interests have natural and fun interactions and stories, which range from fluffy and predictable to touching and unexpected moments of character development. The art is lovely in the game and there’s an overwhelming amount of content and game modes to enjoy! This game will keep you very busy in the best way possible. It’s also pretty generous with premium currency via ads. For those willing to spend, the cash shop items are fairly priced IMO. Please improve the translations, and this game will be a surefire five star, top quality dating game!

Great!

Honestly, this app is great for people like me who love gacha games and always want to progress. There’s always something to do, and you never really get bored of anything. Although there is in-game currency, it’s easy to acquire either through watching ads or just spending diamonds (which anyone can get btw).The only complaint I have is with the MC. Although I respect her straightforwardness, it feels like she’s unnecessarily selfish. Her backstory IS sad, and she has every right to be pessimistic about possible opportunities in her life. However, her selfishness is kind of a turn off. For example, when Biho wanted to buy the apples from the old man, the MC straight up yells at him for wanting to do something nice. You’d think that with her tragic backstory, she’d be more kind and giving because she knows what it’s like to live in unfortunate situations. But maybe that’s just me?Aside from that, amazing gameplay. Love the story as well. A little slow in chapter 4, but it picked up well in chapter 6. :)

Pretty great!

This game reminds me a LOT of Mr Love, which is my all time favorite mobile otome game, as the gameplay is very similar for both. However, despite having similar gameplay this game still sets itself apart with very different guys and a very different story. I really like the story but my main problem is that as a free-to-play player, it is VERY tough to progress once you reach around chapter 3. And upgrading your cards to be stronger isn’t any easier either when it takes so many retries to get the necessary materials, and with elite missions being so hard to pass. This game is much harder in the grinding aspect than Mr Love and it’s what’s keeping me from playing this game more often; if there was more leeway, and allowed for me to get more than 1 star for every level once I reach chapter 5, then I would give it another star. Another thing is the events which require a lot of gems, but I get that because the event SSR’s cost so much is how this free game earns money. Overall, great for a free game to play once in a while but the grinding is terrible :/
