Every time I open the app it crashes. It literally does not work, I deleted and re-downloaded and still the same problem. I love this airline’s inflight service, the best I’ve seen so far but their online/phone customer service leaves so much to be desired (terrible app, hours long wait to speak with a representative just for them to tell you should have gone to fb or twitter like…🤔). Why can’t they just replicate their good service all across the board, they’d be close to perfect :(
- Takes forever to load even on the most recent iPhone- Horrible UX design in general, like the main website, flow makes no sense- Loses my passport, green card and personal details between flights so I have to enter them repeatedly despite flying four or five times a year- Booking and search tools are inflexible to the point of being useless- Still has random details of an old flight listed as 'upcoming' from December 2017
Great app for check-in ... I tried three times to check in online only to have it fail each time ... I finally decided to try the app and it worked easily and perfectly the first time! Thank you!
It is snowing hard, traffic is bad, I’m in a total panic that I’m going to miss my flight and remote check in is usually a disaster for me. Not with Virgin Atlantic, quick and easy. If the flight goes just as swimmingly, I’ll be a new and loyal returning customer.
Simple interface supports pre-check which is awesome. Love that I can select and pay for seats in app. Looks exactly like the Delta app which is t a surprise. Just don’t like that I can’t use my airmiles in the app to book a flight.
A surprisingly bad app from a company that historically does most things well. It’s very basic, crashes all the time, rarely updates with most recent booking information, and can’t be trusted to be accurate. The Virgin Atlantic website is a little clunky and this app does nothing to improve or enhance the digital experience with Virgin Atlantic. Very disappointing.
We love flying Virgin Atlantic Airlines and have been doing so for ten plus years. Their online e-ticket booking system via their app plus following through with online early check-in is easy to use and stress free.All personnel are helpful and customer friendly. Thank you Virgin Atlantic AIrlines!
Very slow to load and won’t retain my flight information. Have had to enter it each time I open the app.
This airline keeps getting worse. It’s now as bad as the worst airlines in the US. My flight from LAX-LHR was one of the least comfortable I’ve ever had. I’m convinced whoever designed the interior with the giant bars under the seat, leaving no room for your legs, and the huge gap between the seat and window so you can’t lean against the wall to sleep, has never flown in an airline. It is insane that, after paying close to $1,000 for a flight, I can’t get in touch with customer service. Instead, I can *attempt to* chat, which means I message and am repeatedly told that someone will be right with me. If I look away from the messages for a moment (imagine! I might possibly have other things to do than wait for hours for a response!) the “rep” (bot) is gone and I’m AGAIN prompted to wait. I hope everyone at every airline has diarrhea for the rest of your sad lives. I’m so tired of getting jerked around by airlines but I have no choice as I am not a bird and cannot fly myself to work. I honestly don’t know why I’m wasting my time writing any of this, as no one there could possibly care, otherwise none of these issues would exist to begin with
I have spent all afternoon and most of the evening trying to upload COVID-19 a vaccination certificate to no avail. I have 22 emails saying that they were unable to be verified with no explanation whatsoever. We should be enjoying our last day not stuck inside trying repeatedly to uploadAlso when going through your website I was told that my name, Maria, was incorrectly spelt: I know how to spell my first name. Also we have had received many “an error occurred” messages.Many times, pages that we were in the middle of uploading were refreshed to blankAnd I had to start again, and trying to work out how to write my own name so that the app would accept it was extremely time consumingWhat’s more we have never been able to become members of the flying club because every single time we tried it, and that must be at least 20 times, we were told that an error had occurred.
