But I’m having issues opening it.. and your online web sight isn’t working either. I normally come to read everyday or so to check up in new artists or old ones that I liked.. movements and it doesn’t open and it’s bothering me. Will it be fixed sometime soon?
Great art history content with content that is well organized and easy to access. Great resource for me as a middle school Art History teacher.
This is my first app review. I usually don't feel inclined to leave reviews, but this is exactly what I was looking for in an art app. It's free, clean-cut, and provides tons of insight into the art world. I took an art history course in college, and this app covers the material quite nicely. The only change I would make, is the ability to sort art movements by time period. Other than that, great job! Top notch effort, guys!
I was excited to find this App as it seemed to be just what I was looking for. However, after downloading, I've been unable to open it! A "main screen" shows up, stays for a few seconds, then crashes. C'mon, guys!
Many apps like this one are loaded with content, but lack an easy to use interface. This app has rich content and is easy to navigate through the vast history of the art-world.Great job.
this app is a genius, ever-growing encyclopaedia of art movements and people, there is plenty to comb through and the layout is functional, clever, and very informative. each section offers different perspectives on one artist's work as well as different takes on movements, however, as of late if you scroll through the app it automatically directs you to the app store for an unrelated purchase. probably just a bug, but definitely worth noting in case you're a new a downloader.
To humanity: I am a photographer working on a “career” in documentary photography, and I have always been a massive fan of art, and how art can speak to the soul more than words to the ears. This app brings that voice of art to the soul. I have spent only a brief moment in the app, and found myself lost in its beauty. To the developers: The one and only thing I would suggest is to have a “back” button that returns you to the previous page. There is so much to see and read and consume that when you need to go back a page you have to start over. Thank you for bringing the voices of artists to the world in ways academic text books never can!!
Updated after a long wait and finally works!Thank you
Nice layout and very readable. Content goes well beyond what you see on many other sites.
I love the structure of the app and the info behind each element, but I would like to be able to amplify the artworks, I find myself reading and searching for the image in the explorer. Thank you for making this so cool and reachable anyway!
