Longing for other cloud services!

Love the design of this especially the actions available. Good for the hard work!However, my files are all in OneDrive, so now it’s not very convenient for me. If a changed is made on other device, accessing it in ‘Recents’ wouldn’t show the change but a old copy would be saved.I’m happy to know that the devs are considering this function, I just want to say that I am one of who really needs this. : )

Amazing app!

This is easily one of the most underrated apps in the ecosystem. If you are a power user of any kind and want to be able to do basically anything you can imagine with text, this app is your tool. Or simply want the ability to have an easy clipboard manager for your iPad or iPhone, this is your app. The developers are friendly and responsive. I cannot recommend this app highly enough!

A very easy-to-use text editor

I've been trying to find a useful text editor on iOS, but after a long search, I still haven't found it. I've tried word processing tools such as impression notes and notions. Finally, I chose note, which I think satisfies a lot. Requirements, but notion is poorly optimized in the iOS app. When I tried to use nonion to write essays today, but found that Noion could not connect to the server, I chose Taio, and the effect of Taio was completely unexpected. But I think Taio still has some shortcomings. I hope Taio can support web-side versions. In addition, I hope to refer to JSBOX in subscription mode, which will further stimulate my subscription.我一直试图在iOS上找到一个好用的文字编辑器，但是经历了很长时间的寻找我还是没有找到，我尝试过印象笔记和notion之类的文字处理工具，最后我选择了notion，我认为notion满足了我很大程度上的需求，但是notion在iOS app中优化很差，当我今天试图使用notion去写随笔，但是发现notion无法连接到服务器的时候，我选择了Taio，Taio的使用效果完全出乎了我的意料。但是我认为Taio还存在者一些不足，我希望Taio能够支持网页端版本，另外，在订阅模式上我希望能够参照JSBOX，这会更加刺激我的订阅。

Great

I am a computer science student at cu boulder and i love using this app as my note taking app. Not only for my compsi classes but also other classes. Im glad this app had an option of lifetime purches so i dont need to worry about subscriptions unlike other apps. The only this i would like to see if doc support. maybe an extention to word or allow us to create docs. I would love an esier way to see extentions for shortcuts so i can get used to them (currently have them printed).

Confusing, limited directory access

Judging by all of their glowing reviews, it is possibly that I am just not the right user for this app. As a new user, I found the app difficult. I did figure out how to create, edit and preview a markdown file, but not before running into many, many buttons, which, when clicked show a “pro only” message without telling what it does and how it woks- frustrating, confusing. It is also not immediately clear how to get in and start writing, which seems not the best for a writing app (my favorite markdown editor at the moment is typora, which is super clean, but not available for ipad). It seems taio might be doing something interesting with their clipboard feature, but I could not figure out how it works. Lastly, as others have mentioned, there seems to be no way to access files on google drive / dropbox which limits the utility of this app for my purposes.

Great Obsidian Companion

My favorite way to take typed notes on my Mac is with the Obsidian app, but that app lacks a mobile counterpart; this is where Taio comes in. With Taio, I can edit the markdown files that I create in Obsidian by taking advantage of its iCloud Drive integration. The provision of a plethora of editor themes enhances the user experience and the support for back links is second to none and is what makes this app feel tailor-made for Obsidian users. The two main features that I wish Taio had were Dropbox sync, since I prefer to use Dropbox as opposed to iCloud for cloud storage, and native Spotlight search, so that I can open a document in Taio directly from Spotlight. Regarding appearance, it would be nice if the themes worked in the preview and editor modes, since they currently only work in editor mode. Additional themes or the ability to make your own themes would be cool as well, but I don’t consider those to be must-have features.Overall, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed using Taio and consider it to be one of the three best note-taking apps on iOS, right alongside Bear and Craft Notes.

Amazing Find!!

I have been in search of a plain text markdown editor to use for a companion app with Obsidian. Prior to Taio, I was using 1Writer. The latter got me by, but the app was clunky! Using Taio for a week now, it is well polished, nice UI, fast and feature rich. It is a pleasure to use. The developer really seems to care. He helped with an issue I was having, be it my own ignorance, rather than app related problems. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Another wonderful job!

Mr. Zhong's works are as good as it could be, this one as well. As an existing user of Pin, I couldn't imagine that there's a possibility of a better clipboard. It turns out there is. Taio is so smooth that you'd think it's one of Apple's system apps. It's also so smart that for a curious user like me, you can always try out a new way to edit your texts.I love it and so looking forward to its growth!

Not free at all

There is a steep learning curve, and it is rather buggy, but I dealt with it because of promises of it being at least partly free.After an update, it is all just nags for money. Every button, everything. Open a file on you iPad, and it diverts to this app, shows up, asks for money, and closes it. They have to tease you by showing it for a moment, too.So, if you want a buggy text editor without copy, paste, text file support, or find, here it is.Hopefully, this review goes through. I’ve tried to post a negative review many times for months, but they never show. I have given reviews of other apps, so I guess it’s this app only. Anyway, can’t stand fighting this app every time I open a text file. Good riddens.

One massive deal breaker

The app is great in every way with one huge exception ( because of what I use it for). The app has a section in the sidebar called “Locations” for quick access to different locations such as iCloud and local drive.This place lets you add your own quick access locations but it does not work with other cloud providers such as OneDrive or GoogleDrive. So,if you’re purely Apple guy, get it. If your files or some of them are on non-apple platform, don’t get it.
