Adrenaline dumps

I have several “unclassified” really high times recorded. It is actually when I feel horrible! It actually is showing when I have adrenaline dumps! I have Dysautonomia and POTS, and I was able to show my doctor how often these “dumps” occur even while sleeping! I wish there was an explanation of when the unclassified times happen that is NOT always a “good” thing! It is not for me. It took me a long time to figure out what was happening! I also appreciate when I get the alert of an overload. Because of my illness, I pass out when I get to that and it has kept me from that a few times when I was busy and trying to push through…. I was able to stop and rest, recover, so that I didn’t pass out and hurt myself!!

Has greatly helped me manage my health

In general, I know the daily stresses that my body endures, and this app has significantly changed the way I manage those stresses. I suffer from heart issues and I'm sensitive to physiological changes tied to daily habits that I must uphold for myself i.e. sleep, dehydration, active state and others. Being monitored in this way gives me a glimpse into where I’m at through the day and night so that I am aware of when I should adjust and take a moment to care for myself and drive it back to where I need to be in order to get back to my life. I can normally function just fine, but it makes a difference and gives me more good days to count than if I didn't use the app. Maybe it's a habit maker to check on your health at any stressful given time which one can do just by listening to your body but seeing the picture of the big and/or sudden changes helps me stop surviving and start reacting to things before they get worse and then in on a loop of the worse symptoms.

Year Long Subscriber 👎🏽

This app has consumed so much of my time that it’s been a distraction throughout my life this past year. This app will actually cause more stress in an effort to keep a consistent log because many of the tools are measured manually using their features. Pulling the Health data is more efficient. Many other health-related apps have proven that. The team even gave the UI a facelift during my year-long sub, though there’s still much left to be desired. My advice is import the health data to avoid inconsistent measurements, because your app doesn’t provide accurate data, even after multiple attempts at using your tools. I have to run 4-5 ECG tests just to get an average reading. That’s about 5 minutes of fidgeting, observing, and scratching my head. I like many others have migrated to Welltory as a better alternative.

I like this but want a bit more

*Update* I’ve been using this app for a few months now. My improvement suggestions still apply. My current frustration is the daily recommendations. It claims my sleep has been bad for several months, despite my Apple Watch (which I wear in bed) says I’m averaging 7-8 hours a night. I have sleep apnea and I don’t know if that is the trigger or not. I like this app! It validates my anxiety so people can’t say “it’s all in your head”. It’s also helped me to realize just how much anxiety I fight with on a regular basis, and what times of the day it’s especially high. Some suggestions I have to make this app even better would be: 1. To have some sort of message saying “it takes the app x amount of time to get an average reading”. It took me some time to figure out that the Pay Attention and Overload notification were because I really was a ball of anxiety and not just skewed because it’s a new app. 2. I would love it if the app could to send more suggestions for when I hit Pay Attention or Overload. Yes, hydration, sleep, diet, and emotions contribute to anxiety, but maybe changing the app from the generic “pay attention” to something like, “have you had any water lately?” Or “let’s take a walk!”

Spot on

This app is spot on and has been really helpful for identifying triggers or stressors that I may not be aware of. I thought I was aware of these prior, as I am a licensed mental health professional and have attempted to be aware as much as I am able, however this has provided further insight. The only negative I can give this app is that when reading through tips or data, there are a lot of grammatical errors that make the app look cheap or unattractive due to the inability to punctuate correctly. I’m not sure if it’s because English may not be the primary language but it’s something they should really consider looking into because it’s very noticeable. For the level of effectiveness of this app, you’d think they would be able to have someone edit their information before publishing.

Interesting data/time better spent

I’ve been using this app with a subscription for about a year and it is collected a lot of information about me. I agree that a lot of the data lines up with my personal experiences. This doesn’t alone surprise me because I am a pretty mindful person often paying attention to my body feedback. A lot of the data seems to tell me what I already know or will know, so aside from bringing more of my attention to this data, it hasn’t really helped me overall to be spending more time looking at this information. Overall, it’s just kind of neat, but not worth renewing. If I could go back, I would tell myself this app isn’t worth it. For example, it’s not knowing when I’m stressed or when I’m sick that is going to help me because I can detect that with my senses, so spending my time and money looking at that data is time that would be better spent addressing those things. Thanks to the devs for making a neat app. I don’t like the rating label “pay attention” and I think it makes more sense to me if that rating was called “stressed” since it is in between Overload and Normal. When I see I am in the “pay attention” zone during sleep, I think, how can I pay attention when I am sleeping? Lol, that just doesn’t seem like a realistic label. I also noticed that it gives me a better score if I’m sedentary and seems to give me worse ratings when I am more active. Again, it’s kinda neat… It’s just not for me.

It’s not worthy the subscription

Comparing to other apps, for example Heart&Stress, that you pay a one-time $4, this subscription is not worthy. $39 a year and poor insights: just activity goal / trend and sleep track and quality (which I use another app). Poor UI/UX. I paid because there was no way to progress in the app and see other functionality. I completely regret and I wish they have a refund policy, but they don’t! So I don’t recommend pay to the subscription and I don’t think you will be able to use this app on the free version (at least, I was no able to do this). If there is something worthy on the subscription that I can’t see, please let me know! And if there is a way to use this app on a free version, let me know as well.

For Apple Watch users

I was never sure what is the Breathe app on my Apple Watch and how can I use it. I didn’t know that during the breath session it stores a lot of the HRV information that can be used even for the stress level prediction and that is great! You will get the most benefit of the Stress Radar app when you use it for at least a few months and try to log as much as possible that on your mind. Also, you train the model and make predictions more accurate. It’s good to analyze the history of your stress levels and know the dependencies.Great app! Highly recommend!

No tracking for daily workouts

I don’t understand it says it’s in the bad range like every day since I open this app. In addition it doesn’t track any of my exercise when I work out every day -but it says my workouts are zero or it has 2 of 14 days when my Apple Watch shows nine of 14 days with measurable exercise. So it’s confusing because every time I open up it says it’s in bad range like every time but then at the end of the day it says normal so I’m not sure is that an overall average of the whole day or is that one particular point in time. Even on the analytics section, it has red and no green but I’m getting seven hours of sleep and I’m working out and my heart rate is always normal. I would not recommend specifically because when it says it’s in the ‘bad” or Extreme Stredd Red range or “pay attention” It could leave people scared or make them believe they need to go to the emergency room when they may not.

Useful for health monitoring

The app is very useful as it very accurately shows the state of the body at the point of time. It matches exactly how my body feels. It really tells you when you need to pay attention to yourself. If my score is 30, I already know that I need a good rest. In my case it’s a day of complete rest. I had no clue that my sleep is so connected with my well-being. If you constantly keep track of the indicators in the app and take action, you can maintain your health at the proper level for many years. Useful for everyone who cares about their health, but for over 40 is a must. My recommendation to the developers is more analytics on sleep, as it very connected with my indicators and how I feel.
