Ads from Hell

I LOVE Skip BoI can play this game for hours on end while my husband plays his video games. But the ads make it not worth it! Every two moves I have an ad pop up that last anywhere from 30-60 seconds. And a lot of the time it will glitch and have the ad start before I finish discarding- therefore putting my card in whatever pile it wants! I could understand ads between games or to unlock more free games. But when it starts messing with the game I’m in and I’m watching ads more than I’m playing then I’m done.

Ads are WAYYY to long and too frequent.

I understand that the ads pay for the free game, but I would really prefer not to have an ad come on during the active game. Why can’t they come on when we open the app, and before and after the games. It’s very annoying, and I lose interest soon. The other thing is the “fastest” mode. When playing in that mode the game stalls. You have to completely close out the application and re load through all of the steps. It’s very frustrating. The next option for fast isn’t fast in the least. The only way to play is on the fastest mode, and it always glitches or stalls. I love Skip-Bo! Would love to have these things addressed and I would be happy to give 5 stars!!

Though it's a fun games and you can play with friends....

Yes it's a fun game and I love to play with my bestfriend, however, like everyone else stated there's WAY too many ads to enjoy gameplay. I sat there paying attention and there is an ad after every one of your turns. No, I'm not exaggerating. They're not short ads either. Then when the ad ends you have to close and reopen the app because the screen goes black and won't do ANYTHING. It would be awesome if you lessened the ads. I would buy the non ad version but I currently don't have a card to use on iTunes and it's really annoying that they put so many ads which will make money and then the ads free is $1.99 so it's even more money. Please lessen ads by a lot.

ADs!!!!!!!!

I love the game but it has a 30 second to a minute AD every other move. This gets annoying very frickin’ annoying quick. At first I could deal with it but now I only play the game every once in a while because of it and remember how annoying it gets. Also it glitch a few times a game where a card is played and it doesn’t show on the field so it with either not let you play a card because it thinks it shouldn’t work or if you put a wild on it(which I have before) it makes it a different number than you wanted and completely screws you. Don’t play the game very often now the paid version could eliminate the AD problem but the glitch is still there and I don’t see the value in paying $4 or whatever it is to play this game from them and that’s why I gave 1 star.

Way too many ads DURING each game!

I absolutely love Skip-Bo and the app is really fun; however, every game you play is bombarded with ads. I expected some ads, because the app is free, but there’s an ad after ever other turn. It takes away from the game...Number one: sometimes the ads make the game crash or they don’t play at all, so you’re stuck watching a black screen for the duration of the ad. Number two: it distracts from the game having to watch a 15-60 second ad in between turns.I understand the need for the ads, but couldn’t the ads play before and after each game?..Not DURING the game? I would even be okay with watching two or three ads back to back before and after each game if that meant the actual game was ad free.The way the ads are right now though, unfortunately has me thinking about deleting the app.I do like the fact that you can pick how many cards are in your stock pile to start with and that there are multiple players you can pick to play with though. If the ads situation was improved, I would probably give this app a 5 star rating!

Stressful

I love the game skip bo a lot but this app is making the game very stressful. There’s so many ads which I understand since you can pay $3 to get the app w/o ads but this is a crazy amount. Every 2 turns there’s a 15-30 second ad. It glitches when you’re playing against someone and you can’t tell what a pile is supposed to be. It’ll look like there’s nothing there but if you go to play a 1 it won’t let you and you have to try and find out what it is. Another thing when playing challenges against the computers and all the ads it has started glitching so bad it won’t go out of the ad. I’ve had to stop playing 3 games so far because it got stuck in the ad and i lost my coins used to play the game so now I have to wait so i can play again. This app needs some updating 😡

Dissatisfied with new updates and ads

I have to either keep my data or my wifi off to play this game since every move I make I'm forced to watch almost a minute in adds. Which happen to be the same 5 adds over and over and over. Then with this new update I have to pay a coin every two games to play or watch an ad which are never available even when I have data/wifi on. I go back to main screen to try again and an ad pops up making me watch it only for it not to count towards two free more games. And to top it off it still says no ads available. I used to play this app for hours. Now I can play maybe two games a day with huge frustration from your endless ad bombardment. Please change it back to unlimited free games, or you're going to lose me, my boyfriend and his mom as app players. They already gave up. But they'd come back if you changed back.

Scoring

I have been stuck on level 32 for forever now. It has taken 3 of my coins because it only gives me points every 3 games. Why don’t I receive credit for every game I play? It doesn’t matter if I come in first or fourth. I’m not receiving any credit and the bar doesn’t move which means I don’t get a coin for leveling up. This needs to be fixed. I’ve gone from 13 coins down to 5 in 2 levels. There’s no reason I shouldn’t be able to get coins. At this rate, I’m going to be out of coins and not going to be able to play. When I run out of coins, I’ll be deleting the app. You’re losing too many people because of your poor design. Please fix the issues at hand so we can actually enjoy the game. This is a childhood game and I’d like to be able to play it efficiently. Thanks!

Crashes constantly

SkipBo is a fun game, when you can actually play it. It is bombarded with ads that cause the game to crash constantly, which then, in turn, resets your score for current hand. The ads are super annoying but I could live with that if it didn’t crash literally every other turn. Sometimes, I can’t even open the game up from all the ads causing it to crash. I have deleted and reinstalled and nothing works. Read previous statements when I sent the developers an email and this is a long standing issue that they have chosen to ignore over and over again. Poor customer service and extremely poor quality. There are many other free games and paid for games out there to waste your time and money on this one.

excessive ads and glitches

this game is fun, but there is a 30 second ad every 2 turns and it gets incredibly annoying very fast. there are also these weird glitches I noticed when playing with my mom, where the cards would show up one way on my screen but they showed up differently on her screen while we were playing each other in the same game. for example, on my screen it would show a blank pile and I’d try to play a 1 but it wouldn’t let me, and I’d look on her screen and see that it showed that the same pile was actually a 2, not a blank pile..and that has happened many times. there are also constantly times where a pile with a 12 on top will sit there and won’t clear itself, or a pile that appears to be blank won’t let u play a 1 on it because of the glitch, which is pretty frustrating. the excessive ads make this game almost unplayable...and after playing several games u have to watch another ad to get a coin to play another..:\
