Fun! But issues with multiplier.

This is a great game so far. Anyone familiar with Egg Inc. will recognize many of these mechanics almost right off the bat. This game has a fun sci-fi branding to it, pleasing graphics, good pacing (so far, minimal bottlenecks, and rewarding to check back every few hours.) My major gripe so far is on the multiplier system. You get a productivity multiplier for each rocket you launch. This basically makes or breaks your progress, as it’s over x50. First problem is that the multiplier resets at seemingly random times. Sometimes, it stays on all night; other times, it’s gone within an hour of me checking back in. As far as I can tell, there’s no logic as to why. Also, recently, the multiplier has stopped working altogether, so I’ve hit basically a standstill. This game has a lot of potential, but they need to fix their multiplier system, and make it clearer how it works.

It’s buggy

For the initial week it was an addicting game. I put some time into it thought it was an overall great game until recently I’ve been noticing some bugs. 1) There is a visual bug that to my knowledge doesn’t affect the game play. When astronauts are going to their colonies sometimes the game will show them going to colonies that are already full. This doesn’t happen all the time but I thought I’d put it out there.2) I’m not sure if this is supposed to happen but the time machine is supposed to show the amount of science points you’re receiving but for me it only is showing NaN. 3) I’ve begin to notice that the earnings that you get from the reboots and from watching adds don’t correlate with the colony’s value which is important to move on to the next planet. Before this wasn’t the case so there must be some type of bug going on here. Another thing to add to this is, my earnings from my mines with no 2X the earnings still doesn’t correlate with the colony’s value. I enjoy the game it’s addicting but the last two issues are frustrating and I can see driving people away from the game.

It’s a really fun game and I have a suggestion

There’s a lot to do so it’s more than just opening the app every few hours and collecting some money, but I think there could be a lot more that you are able to do. I also thing that for a future update, you should add an upgrade shop that only uses the Space Science Coins go buy stuff, but those upgrades are expensive and really really good for the player, kinda like the more advanced version of the gem upgrades shop. Overall, really fun and interesting game!

It’s very addicting but some issues

First off let me say yes it’s just like Egg Inc, but I’m in love with this one much more because sci-fi and space is my style I prefer in games. I love the fact that meteors are able to be found all the time as well and the gem reward system is overall pretty decent as you get it from ads, random astronauts coming off the spaceship, meteors etc. I personally think it has some of the best potential out there for an idle like this. HOWEVER, please developer read this and respond, I haven’t found answers in reviews or through Reddit etc, why under daily missions does it say no internet? I can’t do dailies, nor can I figure out how to be apart of the daily gift rewards, it doesn’t let me check in for a reward at all, and the final problem is the colonies reset randomly, if I play the game and I get a text, once I come back to the game I may or may not have to redo my colonies and boost my astronauts back up to wherever I was and I restart at a max filled beginner colony. I have played for a week trying to figure it out on my own, but before spending any money I need to figure out what’s up and why it’s doing what it’s doing.

Game has potential but game breaking bugs

Ok so this game is like egg inc. Different enough though. There are some glaring issues. I’ve emailed support on the bug but never got a response. The game randomly freezes and crashes. This resets my boost. Also makes it so if I get boosts with gems it doesn’t even matter. I’ve wasted so many gems trying to boost but then the game will freeze. Freezes in the Bailey menu, freezes in the store, freezes when traveling to a new planet to the point this game has lost its fun. Also, why can’t I skip planets after a few resets? Do I really have to go through each in even though I make enough to skip a few planets? Egg inc had this where you can skip eggs. I would really like to skip planets. Game breaking bugs for me get an auto 1 star. The random freezes for no reason is a big turn off and no response from support when I emailed them is also not good. Beware, I got vip and some banks but if I were you I would not do so. Not until the freezes are removed. I’ll update this review if it happens, otherwise I recommend don’t spent any money or time on this game.s will only frustrate you.Update: there was a game update to fix bugs. The worst bug still exists. Game still freezes randomly for no reason. Uninstallled. Easy skip.

Limited Play

The game if great, love the conceit. Though, it crashes. Seeing that it’s an idle game, I can see how developers not worried about it I guess. Read reviews. They said it will be fixed with the update, it hasn’t. I’m most likely deleting the app. I loved playing it, if you don’t mind the crashing and just use it to pass time, it’s good. There are bonuses to gain with rocket launches, but when it crashes all that resets. If you are trying to get a bonus and it crashes, it’s gone. They said it would be fixed, it’s not fixed. I’m not wasting more time on it. I like to play it at its fullest, I’m unable to do that. I would say just try it, if you don’t like how it crashes, leave a review. Delete ut if you don’t want to deal with it.

Wonderful Concept, but...

This is game is great, but it almost an exact copy of another game called Egg Inc. Sure there are a few things changed up here and there, but if you compare the games you can see how similar they are. I guess nowadays a game can be as similar as another as long as it has a few visual differences and difference concept (ex: Eggs or Astronauts). I doubt this game was made by the the creators of Egg Inc. but it’s ridiculously similar. I don’t really care that it is similar, but I don’t understand the point of “stealing” another game and changing it a bit to make it your own. I guess from a business point it’s a good idea, but I’m not a businessman. Anyway I still love the game because it is based on the game I love and spend hours of my life on. I just wish we could create new games that are worthy of spending hours of time on. No hard feelings to the creators. Like I said I still enjoy the game.

Overall Great and Addicting Game

Space Colony: Idle is an idle game in which you can go through fictional and non-fictional planets, building colonies. It’s a great time killer. And as someone who’s played this game for over a month, I think you should check this game out. Now, I do have a sort-of complaint. I have 92,446 Science Points. And when I try to time travel now, it says I can go back in time and collect “Not a Number” amount of science points. I’m not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but if it is a bug, please fix this. Thanks!

Buggy

- Multiplier resets by force closing of app. Sometimes resets just because. Sometimes doesn’t reset when time is up. - Sometimes the astronauts that give the meteor bonus gets stuck. It looks like when I click on them it instead gives me the green gems but will go sit by the missile launcher and bounce. Seems like they prevent others from coming in. - Progression feels weird. To get Arrakis planet is fairly simple, two resets and you’re there. To get to the next planet is a whole lot more difficult for some reason. Many many hours and resets. Also, it shows I’m like 35% there when my base is really only valued at like 5% of the needed value.- Offline progression takes forever to register as offline progression. I can have the app closed for 15 minutes and come back and it hasn’t progressed for some reason and didn’t prompt me to empty my solar panels. Seen this happen up to 45 minutes later. It just seems to pause during that time.

Watched an ad and no bonus income for 30 minutes

Kinda bugged me but I love this game. Had this happen a few time and I’m trying to get to the planet after terminus while saving up science. Please fix the issue where the ad closes when it finishes but the phone auto-closes. I watched it while smoking a cigarette and tapped the x but it closed and the button for watching an ad again was still there.I don’t mind the ads, I like supporting you most planets I watch all four of them.Good game, minor bug but it kinda is annoying. Keep up the good work.
