Grammar & clunky

Its clearly written by a non english speaking person and i hate that the grammar is so poor … i love euchre and can tolerate some ads, but the number of ads per game is excessiveIts clunky and when you select a card, it doesn’t respond and you have to swipe it … could be a lot smoother

Deleting!!!!! Molly 1536 on April 28

Molly’s review says it ALL! This game has many many flaws that have not been addressed! Please developers fix it. Well after having played it more and having PAID for this app... horrible! The computer wins EVERY SINGLE TIME... my “partner” calls trump every time I deal and sometimes doesn’t even have the trump they ordered up....anyway what started out great and why I bought their app has now turned to crap! I’m kissing my money goodbye and deleting!

Winning game total of 5 is wrong

I like the way the game is presented and laid out except for 1 unacceptable fault. True Euchre has and always will be played to the total of 10 not 5. Change it to 10 or you will lose all tried and true Euchre players.

Euchre for Simpletons

This game has so many flaws it's hard to believe the developers have actually played the game in real life. The biggest issue is that the computer generated players don't try to win; for example, I have had 'partners' who lead off the round with the left bower (which turns out to be the only trump in their hand) even though the dealer had picked up the right bower. I have had 'partners' who have ordered me up but do not have trump in their own hand. I have had 'partners' who have thrown off instead of taking a trick. I have had 'partners' who go alone and don't take a single trick. I have had 'partners' who have played the highest trump in their hand when I have already taken the trick with a bower, thereby losing the next trick because all they left themselves with is a lowly 9 or 10. Another flaw in the game is that once all players have passed on the first deal, the three computer generated players ALWAYS pass instead of occasionally calling trump. That doesn't happen in real play. Also, the game should allow the player to choose a partner instead of the random method because some of the computer generated players are purposely too stupid to play. All of these flaws make this a game for simpletons.

Love it

It gives enough variety to keep it interesting; granted, some of the bots are really dumb, but again- keeps it interesting. What I particularly like is not having the constant banter other apps have that offer live players. It's easy, simple, interesting, and free. The lay out is clear cut, easy to follow. I hope u never change it.

30 SECOND ADS BETWEEN HANDS

I can understand some 5 second ad but 30 second ads between hands? Doesn’t happen on all ads. Most are the usual 5 second but 30 seconds. I even got this during games between the hands. Do you really have to display an ad between hands? On the play of the game. I play many Euchre apps ((won’t mention their names) so a couple of suggestions. Once trump is called, which happens quick if you are not paying attention, there is no indication of who called trump. Would be nice to show. Having to drag your card over to the rectangle. Most other apps you can double tap your card or just slide it to the center.I do like the clean display and play of the the game.

Ok

The game works fine, but there are a few things I noticed while playing. Every once in a while when you go alone there’s a glitch we’re you can’t discard the rest of the game. Another thing is I’ve been playing for about a month and they haven’t once; apart from ordering the dealer to pick up a card have called suit. The game is semi entertaining just not realistic. One last thing, if your sick of ads turn your data and/or data off. The game still works just no ads

Stick The Dealer

When any of the AI players have had the trump suit passed to them twice, they SHOULD NOT be able to select the trump suit that was already available. Players should only have the other three suits to choose from. With the “Stick the Dealer” option selected, it works appropriately for me (the real life player) but the same rules don’t apply for the other three AI players. AND THEY ALWAYS select the suit that was already available and passed on.I get that its “Simple” Euchre, but c’mon...

Good game, minor flaw

It’s an easy-to-play game with an irritating difference from its competitors. Let’s say you are dealt the J ❤️, 2 black-suited cards , and a couple of ♦️s. They are of course dealt separated by suit. Now let’s say ♦️s are bid. It fails to move the left bower (J ❤️in this case) in with the other diamonds/trump suit once it has been declared, nor have I found a way to do this manually. As I said, a minor irritation that I don’t find in other online versions of the game.

Agnes

My grandson plays this game in college and when we get together with him, (which is only every couple months), it is hard to remember all the rules. This is so helpful to me to remember. I try to play at least once a day. I am a beginner, so I don't really know how to rate thus game.

It is also known as Bacon in other English-speaking countries. The object of the game is for a partnership to win at least three tricks. If the side that selected trump fails to get three tricks, it is said to be “euchred”. Winning all five tricks is called a “march”. Paired up into teams of two, each player receives 5 cards. The trump suit is determined through a bidding phase before each round. The Makers are the partnership who selected the trump suit and must win more tricks than the Defenders. Players are required to follow suit after the leading card has been played. The player who played the highest value card of the suit that was lead will collect the trick. Points are awarded after each round based on which partnership won more tricks. When one or more cards of the trump suit are in a trick, the highest trump suit card will win the trick. The team who reaches 10 points first win the game. EUCHRE TERMINOLOGY • Bowers: the highest cards in the suit • Defenders: the partnership that did not order the trump • Euchre(d): when a player calls trump and fails to get three tricks • Eldest Hand (AKA 1st Seat): opponent to the left of the dealer • Hand: a hand consists of five tricks (when all cards from the deal have been played) • Kitty: the four cards left over after the deal • Makers: the partnership that ordered the trump • March: calling and getting all five tricks • Order Up: declaring the trump suit • Pone (AKA 3rd Seat): the opponent to the right of the dealer • Singleton: a lone card of any given suit, when no other cards of that suit are held in your hand • Stick the Dealer: a game option that forces the dealer to declare the trump suit if all other players pass in the 2nd round of bidding • Trick: all four cards played by each player • Trump: the suit that outranks all other suits • Turn-card (AKA Up-Card): the top card from the kitty which has been turned face up TIPS • Lead with a singleton off-suit whenever possible. If no other cards of that suit are in your hand, the probability of your opponents having them is higher which prevents them from trumping your ace. Your best shot for having an ace make it around the table and winning a trick is on the opening lead. • Don’t always count on your partner for at least one trick. Doing so can end up backfiring and getting you euchred! • Keep track of the cards played. While it’s important to pay attention to your own cards, keeping an eye on what cards have been played by your opponent's is just as important to see how it will affect the outcome of the game.
