Love it!

This app is great! When it works, I love it! There’s just one problem I’ve been having. It doesn’t always see my dog. Maybe it’s just because I have a Chocolate Labrador, so he’s brown and dark, but the amount of lighting necessary is insane. Sometimes I have to hold a flashlight near my dog for the camera to see him. And the filters are so cute but the issue is that the ones that say happy holidays and merry Christmas and stuff don’t fit on the screen. Whenever I select them, I can only see half the word, the top is cut off. Other than that, I love it!

Cute concept

This app is a really cute concept but needs quite a few tweaks. Filters can only be viewed when the pet is looking at the camera or after the photo is taken. Make them scrollable always. Camera needs the ability to focus when tapped or have a better auto focus. All my photos came out blurry. You should allow the user to adjust the placement of the facial features manually to better align filters and the mouth. Finally can we get an option to create talking images from photos of our pet we have on our camera roll? Fix the glitches and add a few more features and this app has some great potential! 😉

Love the concept but still needs some work

I think this idea is cute and funny! However, I wish there was a way to add pictures from the camera roll and then adjust the points of the talking mouth to make it look more “realistic” (similar to what they do on jibjab.” I would also like a way to move the filters on the picture so it could better fit the proportions of my dog.

I’d actually pay for this!

Of all the greeting card apps that I just looked up, this one is by far the best use of a smart phone. It can record you dog saying your voice or funny pre-recorded messages. There’s no account sign up and it’s free, but I’d pay for it!

Cute but not functional

This is the coolest app for pet owners. But if you have a high energy dog this app is going to be more of a frustration than anything else. It takes a LONG time for the facial recognition and by the time it finally recognizes my dogs face he’s on already moved 100 times. He’s trained and has great manners but won’t sit like a statue, which is required to get a snap. Impossible for my pup.

A fun app

So much fun for me with my dogs. I appreciate the updates especially for holidays. More updates about daily life would be great. My dogs are Search and Rescue with trailing as their specialty, some updated picture and quotes geared to working dogs would be fun.

Almost awesome - no pictures only video.

I mostly want to take images of my dog Snapchat style and this app doesn’t really let you do that. If you want to take videos, it’s fine, but the app is incapable of normal still images. Hope they get this worked out, I would use it daily if so. Also would be cool if my dog and I could take selfies and have the same filter for both of us.

Fun but...

The app picks up certain faces better than others. It keeps trying to put the mouth on the side of the face instead of where it should be. This app would be SO much better if you could just snap a photo and position the mouth manually. It would save a ton of time instead of moving the phone around forever to get just the right position for the app to finally recognize the face - if the dogs haven’t lost interest by then...

Could use some fine tuning

This is so cute! We got a couple of cute photo/video of our pup. However, it was difficult to take a pic as the app couldn’t pic up my dog’s face (maybe because she’s a darker color?) even with good lighting and the app kept freezing on us once we had a solid pic. Also, the instructions were lacking so it took us some figuring out on how to work it. Hopefully next year there’ll be some improvements! Regardless, this is a fun and cute idea!

Needs tweaking

This app is rough and not user friendly. For example: 1. The filter options are limited. 2. In order for the filter options to appear, your dog needs to look directly into the camera (a box appears on the screen to assist with alignment). 3. The calibration of said box is on the touchy side; thus, it is difficult to perfectly align the dog's face within the box. 4. The filter options only appear when you are able to fit your dog's face precisely within the box. 5. The calibration of the filters are off as well as they appear off-center on the photo; additionally, certain filters flicker and crash as you attempt to apply the filter to the photo. I'm deleting the app off my phone, sorry.
