I love this app for teaching, it's such a wonderful simulation. Thanks for the updated comparability with iOS 7!
great port of a great app.it's a bit hard to control on the iphone's little screen.wave mechanics ftw !
Would there be a way to incorporate magnetic charges & gravity fields into such an app. Essentially a hybrid of another amazing app called electrons or one called ions - as we need more "workshop" types of apps that could allow us to really experiment in a "virtual lab" as there is a vacuum of apps like the one you created which gives us a kind of sandbox to experiment with scientific concepts. Plus adding more features as mentioned above would almost be a necessity as so many of these scientific concepts overlap. We need a sandbox lab app that would allow us explore these concepts in a fun way such as how you made this app. The kind of app you made is exactly what people want - a place to experiment and unleash their creativity and learn at the same time. I'm so glad I found this app. I just wish the above could be added.
Thank you for this app. It is helpful for tutoring high school physics.
Beautiful app that personifies cause and effect in such a beautiful way. This truly is a mind boggling app worth the price of admission.
The criticism that the graphics is terrible is not justified. This is a real physics simulation, with each pixel's evolution depending on its neighbors every time step. You are seeing the simulation with space broken up into bite sized pieces, as befits a computer algorithm. What you see is what is happening in the algorithm. I do wish there was an option to use more pixels, as there is on the web version in Java, but it is true that would slow things down.
Bad graphics and hidden ads for adult viewing material? Not sure if it was this app but my iPad has only done it when I opened this garbage. Rip off either way...
This is so not worth 6 bucks waste of money
Words fail me. If you have any idea what this is do not hesitate. Brilliant educational software.
A simulation of a ripple tank, or wave tank. Make waves with your finger, or view examples including such wave phenomena as interference, diffraction (single slit, double slit, etc.), refraction, resonance, and the Doppler effect. Create your own experiment and save it for future reference.
