Appears to work as advertised

One reviewer mentioned that the app has changed and is opening to the last page you were on. That would be bad. My experience (just tested it again) is that that is NOT the case; it comes up blank every time. For confidential work, that's what you want. They don't appear to track anything, as far as I can tell and navigating back works only while you're in a session. That's good enough for me, compared to Chrome, which not only tracks, but analyzes and sends you ads that match words in your personal emails. I like having this option of privacy and this app does the job for me.

There’s still ads

I still see the SavySoda ad on home screen and some ads below it. Also, touch ID dialog keeps popping up even after Thumb Authentication (not a problem with free version).*Update: Ads below the search engine on home page seem to have disappeared now after I reinstalled the app several times with and/or without the free version (tried all combinations).

Umm...

Is anyone else as confused as I am? I download this app and launch it, it tells me I can pay $2.99 or something like that to “remove ads” even though there’s already an “ad blocker” turned on which seemingly does nothing because I still have ads “in browser” on pages and although I did pay the $$ to have the ads removed from the app, that money did absolutely nothing other than take me back to the App Store to download another version of the app. Oh and don’t forget “Snowbunny”...there’s that exact same app. Anyhow, I paid money for nothing and now have 3 versions of the EXACT SAMEN app on my phone. Makes no sense and I definitely recommend to anyone thinking about it DO NOT PAY FOR ADD REMOVAL nothing happens when you do other than you flush $3 down the drain.

Just works as expected

Private browsing works as expected and nothing is saved for another browsing session. Simple and multiple browsing windows sessions. Easy to understand that you are done. Close the app or switch to another app, you will return to the homepage.

I always though when you found something better you should switch. I may not be for you but if you give it a chance as I did you may like it better and switch to it as I did..

Memory Leak

Every few days or so of using the app, it will suddenly crash to home screen, and make my phone completely laggy until I restart it. I have to delete and completely reinstall in order to get it not to lag and crash anymore, but that only lasts a few sessions. And I loose all my bookmarks. The app also gets very large in size sometimes. Not sure if that is related, but it could be a memory leak or something.

Yay! Love it Thus Far!

I was excited but a bit dubious initially. I'm so tired of getting ads plastered all over when ofttimes it's research for studies or just want more info about something read or being nosy about. What I really despise are the hits when I research items for kids or even the next plan to travel. Thank you!

Beware of Changes

I’ve been using this program for some time. In the past, it would go back to the home screen if you turned your IPhone off and then back on. In its current configuration when you turn your unit off and then back on again it will open up to the page you were on when you turned the unit off. What I’m saying here is this... you can be in the middle of reading (or writing) a confidential email. If you are interrupted and have to turn your iPhone off you will come right back to the same screen when you turn your unit back on. From my prospective, this destroys any confidentiality you thought you may have had. Once again, this is a change to the way this program used to work. In the past, you would go back to the home screen if you turned your unit off then back on.

New Bug - can’t add new bookmarks! (FIXED!)

Latest update removed the + icon from the controls, so unable to save new bookmarks. Please fix! Thanks! Also, no new “most recent” feedback visible for this app since October 29, 2021.UPDATE: Both issues fixed in 72 hours! Fantastic! thanks!!

Fantastic app!

Not only does this browser work as expected but it is perhaps one of the most secure browsers I have found. I love the fact that it intentionally has amnesia. Really, this is a plus! You know those webpages that you go to that only let you view them to her three times and then you get blocked out unless you buy it or purchase a subscription, This browser fixes that. It does not carry over any cookies or baggage to let them know that you have been there before. I love it! I can read anything on the Washington Post, the New York Times and other pages without having to get the subscription! And if you want security to go to a page that you don't want to carry that cookie with you this is the answer! Highly recommended!!!
