Open Office is the best

Always dependable. When I need to print from my iPhone it works everytime. This is my GoTo document handler. I can count on it storing my documents and easy retrieval.

Hit and Miss

About 60% of the time it will find your printer even with Web Print installed. But as far as I can tell, this app is still the best on the market.

Start with this one and save yourself time and money! This is what you need!!

I had been holding off buying a print app with the rumor of iOS 4.2 allowing us to print. As most of you have realized it was a pipe dream to think Apple would make it easy and not leave those of us out who don't have an AirPrint capable printer. After being let down by Apple, I tried three apps this week before coming up with this one. I wish I would have hit it first and saved myself some money! It does exactly what it says it does. It even sees my HP 2600xi All In One non-wifi printer plugged directly into the router on my home network without even using the software they say may be needed to run on your computer. The software when put on my laptop does make it easier to print using all the printers at work though so it's worth a download. To sum it up, start with this print app and save yourself some frustration.

Been using this app forever

I got this app years ago. It has been great for printing to my wireless printer. I have old printers that are not air printers. It used to take a bit of tech knowledge to make it work but it just keeps getting better.

Not great IMO

I purchased it because I wanted to be able to print out emails. But to print emails it requires you to set up your email within the program, so then you have to constantly go to both this program AND the email accounts on the iphone/iPad to delete old emails. I don't want to have two separate email accounts, and I don't want to discontinue using the native Apple email accounts. -- Even worse I have four different accounts that get 100+ emails per day, so I would have to delete an extra 100 duplicate emails. It also doesn't really print to any printer, it requires you to download a program to a PC that is attached to the printer you want to use. So it won't just find a printer on your wireless network and print to it; you have to configure it. It does work, though.I guess it works fine I you need to print PDF or other non-email docs to printers on one specific network, but if you would like to print emails easily and also use printers at multiple locations (home, office), this is not worth the money. I wasted the $5.

Beware of this App

Beware of this App. I don't know why the professional reviewers rate it so highly (I could guess though). Tried to direct print from 4 different printers (home and 3 at office) and none of the four printers was compatible (Brother, Epson (2) and Canon). It would be very nice if authors would certify compatibility prior to purchase but I guess that would cut into their sales too much. Their support recommended that I use their Weprint utility, but as I repeated wrote them, that is not why I bought the app, I bought it to print directly to wifi printers from my iphone. It's actually easier to print directly off the computer tan to mess with weprint.As I was reminded by their support person, their advertising states that it's directly compatible with "most" wifi printers. In my case, that was not the fact. Also, if they can make this statement, why can't they verify with the consumer, prior to purchase, printer compatibility. At best, their advertising is deceptive. It would be a nice gesture if the Apple Store would make refund for this useless App.

Great app

I’ve had this app for quite some time and it’s invaluable for allowing me to print to printers that are otherwise incompatible with AirPrint. Worth every penny!

Excellent!

Seldom do I find an app that not only delivers but also delights! I have been searching for a decent print app for my iPhone and iPad. After several failures I found PrintCentral. The positive reviews gave me the courage to try again. I'm glad I did. I needed to download an app to my PC which is the conduit between my iPhone and printer (wifi enabled Canon Pixma). The set up was a little tricky but the instructions eventually walked me through to a successful install. Now I can not only print emails, contacts, clipboard, and photos, but I can establish FTP connections with other servers and print files from there, too. DropBox access is also possible as is setting up connection to Google Docs and calendar. I find myself giggling with delight as I use this app and discover more things it can do. Kudos to the developers!! Well worth spending the $3.99. The only negative I can see so far is the fact that I need to have my PC on for the print function to work, but only a slight inconvenience.
