The interface is really bad. If you go to add funds you can’t get out of that screen without adding funds or quitting the App. The fact that it takes several hours to add funds is ridiculous! I only gave it one star because I had no choice. The only reason anyone would use this is if they have no choice. This is not better then the systems it replaces.
Pretty Useless app, considering its main purpose is to serve flexibility when you don't have loose cash/coins or TTC tokens on a bus. The average time for your money to actually show up on your card account before you tap on the device is 24hrs. Save yourself from the embarrassment of not having funds when you tap your card on the bus. (Even so, a big thanks to all those kind TTC drivers who still let me in). TTC, i have seen underdeveloped 3rd Tier cities with a better operated electronic transit pass system. Dump your payment processing vendor/app contractor and help your staff and the PEOPLE.
Good app just lacks the pass option which would make things a lot easier
App interface itself is good and easy to use. But I faced this issue yesterday:Loaded the funds and verified the charge appeared on my credit card account. But when I get on the next bus, it gets declined due to insufficient funds. Looks like i will have to go to a subway station and tap on the presto device.
The only practical reason to have an app for presto is to be able to load money when you’re trying to catch a bus away from a kiosk. If it takes 4+ hours for the funds to sync, this app is completely useless.
The app use to work fine and load my presto easily, but after the new update I can no longer use my debit card to load my presto so I was stranded with an empty presto with no way to load or travel. Good job.
The title says it all. People want to use the digital wallet to pay fares at the gates with NFC. Metrolinx makes another Presto app with wallet support so I wonder why this one lacks the feature. Not sure what the advantages of the app are over the website at this time ヽ(。_°)ノ
Trying to sign up as new user with brand new IPhone 13 Pro. App locked up entire phone at the create password screen twice. Had to force reboot phone by pressing all side buttons for 5 minutes. Very disappointing.
First app I’ve ever downloaded that completely froze my iPhone. I wasn’t even sure if that was possible since I have a newer model but it unfortunately happened
Good app with an easy to use interface. But after uploading my card, I couldn’t see the last transactions even after tapping on the presto device to activate the card. The card shows the deductions though but not transactions
