Beware of this app’s Bait and Switch tactic

Zero stars if it were possible. After trying several framing apps I decided on FRAMIFY. I paid the one-time purchase price of $2.99 to get rid of the ads and watermark. Imagine my surprise at being told in the app — AFTER I had made the purchase that the next update would flip my purchase back to showing ads and watermarks, and that the app would become subscription-based in order to new features and get rid of what I’ve already paid to get rid of. First, I’m not a big fan of subscription-based apps, but to each his/her own. There is no way in h3ll I would have purchased this had I known the developer would pull this kind of crap. My personal opinion is that apps that do this shouldn’t even be allowed in the Apps Store, or should be removed if they do so as it is clearly a dishonest and misleading tactic to gouge the buyer for more $$$. Alternatively, full disclosure of this tactic should be required to be prominently displayed in the app description so the buyer is informed in advance, not after the purchase. I don’t plan to update the app, and if it does somehow get updated I will delete it. Nevertheless, This is my first (and last) purchase from Ankur Chauhan.

Excellent app easy to use

Great app. IOS as usual makes problems. When I tried saving a sent frame and pic to myself, it appeared to save. But I could not find the new files. This went on for a while and although I supposedly had 25 GB space available, it turns out not enough free space to save any files. This app is great. Apple needs to get a grip and allow their users to know what is going on.

So user friendly!

I like this app best of all the ones I’ve tried to far to put borders/frames around my photos. When I go to my photo gallery, it lets me sort through albums rather than me having to go through all my pictures, which takes so much longer. I also love all the freedom I have to get the photo in the frame exactly how I want it. Some apps, you put the picture in and you can’t move it in any way after that. And finally, there are so many different frames!! I’m using this app to do a project that I had been procrastinating on very badly. This app has made it fun instead of a chore!

Love it

I been using this ap for years and I absolutely love it. This ap has many amazing frames but I’m hoping for some new frames for other occasions. I’m hoping for a frame for teacher appreciation, Vietnamese New Years and April fools Day. It would be so perfect to have frames to capture the first in people’s lives. I would definitely like to recommend this ap to all the people I know but sometimes it’s nice to know that only I know this ap. This way when I develop pictures people are amazed thanks to this ap.

Frametastic!

The best frame app I've come across so far. Very happy with the large selection of frames to choose from. Love how they are separated out by holidays & seasons...it just makes it easier. My one and only wish is that I could twist my picture around to fit the frame. There are several frames that I absolutely love that are at a slant...but it won't let me slant my picture to fit the frame. Still a 5 for all of the other great features. ❤️

Love it so far

Many, many frames!! So may to choose from. And the ads aren’t long and are easy to deal with. Here’s a thing I caught on to-instead of looking for frames under a specific category, just tap on “all frames” hardly any ads. Well actually I haven’t had one yet. It might take you longer to go thru the frames to find your category, but no ads. It will say “ads loading”, but none ever comes up🤷‍♀️ A definite recommendation.

Need to learn what a frame is

In the true sense of the word, and not sure if you guys know what it means, but a frame is something you use to put your picture in that still allows you to see a majority of the picture, nothing less. A frame should only cover, at most, the border of a picture. If it’s more frame than picture, it’s no longer a frame, it then becomes either a cutout or a collage. You guys need to learn the difference. A picture should be like the main ingredient of a food dish. It’s the star, it should shine, it should be there front and center, it should NEVER be overshadowed. Side dishes are like the frame, it’s there to support the star attraction, but never take over the show. These so-called frames you have are cutouts and collages, not frames. Learn the difference and once you do, rename it appropriately.

2700 nice frames & borders!!!

I have literally searched the App Store for every app that has frames and borders and the truth it is, most of them are boring and there’s too few of them. This app has a large variety (literally thousands) of frames and borders. Most of the time the edges are not straight which is good. So for example if a frame is made up of flowers it’s as if you places the flowers on top of the picture which really adds to the beauty. The frames are organized into many categories up on top. The only thing I wish they would change would be to make the category titles “print” instead of script or cursive so it’s easier to read. A search function would be nice but not necessary. It’s a pleasure scrolling through all the picture frames. Although it’s true most of the frames look like they will only accept a portrait picture, you can load up a photo and orient it in any direction you want to make it fit any frame you like! Then when you save it on your phone you can again orient it in any direction. Not expensive at all and nice addition to the App Store.

Rate 5 to get free

Thought it was a free app but 2nd time I opened it I got a pop up saying it would be free if I gave it a 5 star rating. I haven’t used it enough to say it warrants this rating and hope people will read reviews before deciding. If I can I will revise once I have had time to evaluate more fully. Update. I’ve used it a few times now and it has some pretty frames, but not as big a selection of various holidays as I’d hoped. Last one I used parts of my photo showed up in the transparent background and I couldn’t figure out how to fix that. Even though I wrote the original review before, I don’t see that I got anything ‘unlocked’ or extra and ads keep popping up still.On the plus side, they have some beautiful floral frames which is what I usually default to when I can’t find Easter frames, or get well, or sympathy, etc. And it’s free.

Frameo, Frameo, where fore art thou Frameo?

My son gives us this great gift for Christmas. Unsure what to do with it (as we are as tech savvy as the Flintstones), it goes in the top drawer of my dresser. A few days later, my son calls and asks why he can’t download his Christmas photos onto our Frameo. My ever sensitive wife says, “What’s a Frameo?” My son, obviously upset says, “Your Christmas present!” Now up tospeed, wife gets me involved. “Where is it?”, she frantically screams. I explain to my son that it was unplugged and ask him to resend the images. He says, “You know, I could have spent that money on other presents for my wife, daughter or son?”Another great Christmas!
