New version charging $8 for features I had previously

New version, old WebKit is being deprecated. I get it. However, you can transfer features I had paid for previously! I have all of the “pro” features in the last version, and now the dev is charging $8 for something I already have?? The browser is “ok”. The UI is rough around the edges, likely as it was designed by a developer, not a UX person. Without the pro features, it’s just another browser and not worth it. But, the pro features aren’t worth $8 either. It’s too bad, I used to really like this browser.

Good job

I really like this app but I was wondering if you could change one thing. You have your bookmark that you can edit and move them up and down to put them in alphabetical order. But when you want to add a bookmark in a folder I have to scroll the whole list. Can you put a edit button at the bottom left like bookmark. Thanks

Best Web browser on IOS by far.

Used the legacy version of Perfect Browser for years and thought it was the best browser on IOS for the web. I wanted to support the app developer so I purchased the new Pro version. It’s just a faster, more polished, customizable version of the legacy version that’s visually now more in line with IOS11, whereas the older legacy version now looks dated. It really should be your default browser of choice. If you started using Perfect Browser pro and then went back to Safari, Chrome or Firefox, you would feel so much less productive while web surfing. Gestures are just the best for getting around the web to swipe and finger tap, access bookmarks, etc., all while in full screen. Once you start using Perfect Browser legacy or pro, you won’t go back to anything else.

Not Cool guys.

Used to love this browser told any one I met how much you can customize it and its worth it to pay the pro then they stopped updating the app tweaked the name and are trying to get their first customers to pay again for pro , I dont understand this logic still have the original pro app have tried to use it but since it no longer updates it randomly crashes and i have to re-open the app feels like the last update of the older app made it this way to try and force you to switch over to the tweaked name “Pro” version again , But sorry these days you cant just keep shelling out 8$ whenever an app decides to Tweak their name and change the icon to lightning symbol .

Update: disabling and reenabling the passcode option and entering a new passcode resolved the below issue! Thank you to support for reaching out to me!After updating to iOS 12 you no longer have to enter a passcode even when a passcode is set.You just click "Done" without entering the passcode and you get right in. Fix this.

First-time user has issues

For an app that brags about how clean and pleasant its interface is, I found it jarring that when the app opens for the first time, it opens with three tabs, each of which is presented in a different monstrously ugly font reminiscent of the web of twenty years ago. The page on how to import bookmarks may be the ugliest of all. I’ll still check it out, but we are not off to a good start.

Impressive capabilities with great ad blocking

I bought the iPhone version of this app many years ago because it provided the ability to view desktop versions of websites on my iPhone. I have not been able to view Yahoo Mail in desktop view on Safari, chrome or Firefox. I decided to try perfect browser pro, which is not cheap at $10, because it stated they provided multiple desktop emulations. I downloaded it and tried it with Yahoo Mail and still ran into the same problem despite trying every desktop emulation provided. However, I did notice that it is fast and has quite a few advanced features. I uploaded my bookmarks, many of which are in folders, to perfect browser. I learned that if you want to type in the address bar and have your bookmarks show up, you need to import with the "don't create folders" option on. That creates a flat bookmark file. I liked how you could customize the theme and have control over many options, such as clearing your cookies on Exit. What really impressed me was the Ad blocking. It passed with flying colors on a couple of different ad test sites and I have yet to be nagged that I have an ad blocker. Thumbs up on that. It's been three days and I haven't heard from the developer on the emulation issue with Yahoo! Mail. Otherwise I might give it a full five stars. It may still become my main browser.

Impressive capabilities with great ad blocking

Updated review: I'm changing my review from four stars to five stars. I've come to realize how useful this browser is. When I can't do something in Safari, I have been find I can make it work in Perfect Browser (PB). I doubt you'll find a browser that has as many configurable options as PB. Being able to choose multiple browser emulations or to even configure your own is pretty impressive. The ad blocking works extremely well. My favorite PB feature is the ability to put "favorites"on the home screen. I've really come to appreciate how useful this is. It also supports a bookmark bar, but being able to have a separate section called "favorites" with the ability to line them up however you want, can come in really handy. For instance, I have about multiple different shopping links that I can put right next to each other on the Homepage. With a bookmark bar, you are typically limited by the width of the screen. But the way that PB does favorites, you can put a LOT more bookmarks directly on the homepage and organize them however you want. I use this browser several times a day and it has become indispensable to my daily browsing needs.

Incredibly flexible browser

So many things that call themselves “Perfect” are actually junk, but in this case it really very nearly is perfect! The customization possibilities are nearly endless. My favorite part is that it does private browsing the way it should be done, where each tab is isolated from the next. I just leave it in private all the time.If you are a technically minded person, you owe it to yourself to try this.It’s far better than any of the other alternative browsers, and I’ve tried them all. The one thing that is missing to me is “undo close tab”. Maybe this is deliberate for privacy reasons, but just allowing it for a short time would be great because the close buttons on the tabs - which I love having, btw - can be easy to hit as they should be. Unfortunately as a human I can’t be perfect all the time 😀
