App is general good but
Today I was creating a form as I've done many times before using this app. for some reason, the fields worked on my Mac where I created the form. but not on a windows machine. some fields worked but some wouldn't. contacted support and she kept inssiting that I had to purchase the windows license for the form that I create on my Mac licenssed copy, to work on a windows machine. wouldn't escalate or let me speak with someone else. fianlly after insisiting that she was wrong, she said they would get back to me over email. please train your support agents. the app has potential but is far from perfect. and for the times that issues come up, I would like to someone that knows what I am talking about.
easy to use
I have been using PDFelement for a while now and I can't even imagine not having it. It has everything that I need to keep my business running smoothly. From converting PDFs to word documents or PowerPoint slides to signing, annotating, merging and filling out forms - this app does it all. I had used a lot of other editing apps, but none of them were as simple and straightforward as PDFelement. I was so sick and tired of having to buy expensive Adobe Acrobat to be able to properly edit my files. I had a lot of PDF documents from old presentations and needed to edit them. It has all of the features that I need to make editing my pdfs easy and quick. The user interface is easy to use and has a friendly UI which makes it really simple to edit the documents. It's always getting updates to make it better and easier to use. I am so glad that I found it because now I have a reliable way of editing my pdf files with ease. I love the format of the file when it is done editing. Perfect for anyone who is searching for the best PDF Editor.
No customer support
I loved the app and purchased it. I had in mind to get a corporate license if they have one. I’m on day six and three emails sent to support. I have not received any sort of acknowledgment. The original problem stemmed from not being able to login on a second device. It says I have the wrong password. I do not have the wrong password. I use all of the same passwords for every app I use for business. However,I wouldn’t know if I accidentally entered in the wrong password because it only required me to enter the password once. There was not an option to confirm the password on the initial account setup. Trying to set a new password is impossible because I do not get the emails the app says it’s sending. Now, after being on the phone for 20 minutes waiting on a customer care rep, an automated voice came back and said no customer care rep is available at this time. I’m demanding a refund and do not recommend this program.

I have used a few different types of editors and so far PDFelement has become my go to. The user friendly interface makes it easy for a person like me that is not so great at editing feel like Im a pro. One thing I like using is the Multitask feature on my iPad, being able to view and work on 2 pdf’s at the same time helps me be more productive. I also like the feature that lets me merge 2 pdf’s, this has helped me out on a few occasions! Overall I like what I see and will continue to use this as my editor of choice.
Close to the perfect replacement for Acrobat/ PDFelement
If you’re trying to dump the horrendous subscription model of other programs and find one that integrates iOS and Mac, this is THE ONE… almost. It’s a bit costly for the Lifetime license of the App or the Mac/iOS combo, and after testing about 20 different Apps I am almost willing to pay it (see their Element Reader App if you just want a free App similar to Mac Preview). But the purchased Pro features are missing quite a few things: a true lasso/snapshot tool, OCR on scans, multi document tabs, customizable toolbars, full screen presenter mode, a laser tool, and advanced handwriting recognition (6 of these are included in the free Goodnotes App!). Verdict: If you need full functionality and integration between Mac and iOS this is the best, BUT not if you can get by with the very good, free annotations of other Apps (See the free versions of PDF Viewer, Goodnotes and PDF Expert). NOTE to Developers: add the missing features and you’ll have an App well worth paying for, a unique standout in a crowded market.
COMPLETE RIP-OFF!
This app seemed promising to begin with... and it really could be, if only they were not trying to rip-off their customers into purchasing more advanced plans (or plans they don't need!)They do this I believe by once you made you purchase (example I purchased the year subscription, through my Apple account), I believe once an update happened, you will attempt to print or save a document without the watermark, and upon doing so it will request you purchase a new plan! You can select the refresh button, it will say refresh complete and then still demand a purchase of a NEW (MORE EXPENSIVE PLAN). If you try to select the plan you currently have (example, the yearly plan) it will say "you have already been enrolled in this plan." The truth is, if you have faults in your app, that take money from customers and give them ZERO product in return, that is STEALING! If this is an "app malfunction" then you should not have your app on the store with products / plans for sale. BUYER BEWARE.
Life Saver!
A lot of people I know don’t have access to a scanner or printer at home and this app is really a lifesaver. It makes working with documents easy to do just right on your phone. I work with clients who have to submit documents as well and I’m constantly recommending this app to help speed up the process. It makes things quick and easy and it’s greatly appreciated!
I am a new business owner. I have to say, this is one of the best PDF editing applications that I've used. It's very intuitive and offers all the features I need - being able to edit pdfs, sign them, merge them and convert them to various formats. It also lets me convert pdf files to word, excel, powerpoint and png files. The best part is that the app is able to merge pdfs together. I really love the PDFelement because I can edit pdfs and convert them to my word processor seamlessly. This app is a life-saver. If you ever need to edit, annotate, sign, convert pdf to word, excel, powerpoint or other formats - this is the go-to app. It's a neat little program that will work wonders for your business needs. All the features are so easy to use and it saves me so much time that I would have spent on things like converting docs to pdf and editing them. And of course it will merge PDF files as well as fill out PDF forms. I have been using PDFelement for years now and I love it. It's so easy to use and the conversion process is seamless. I was a little hesitant in the beginning, but now I think it has been worth every penny. I recommend it is enough!
One minor issue
Love the app. One minor issue, but important for me: I’m having issues with adding an image to the pdf. I’m wanting to add a .png file with a blank background to the pdf, but whenever I insert it, a white background is automatically added and the white background cannot be edited out, despite it not being present in the original .png file. The same issue of the white background being there is present when importing a stamp as well.Another workaround to this, for me at least, may be to insert a signature, but I’m unable to upload a signature; the only option to add a signature is to draw it on my phone.Any help would be appreciated. Great app overall though!!
Loved the app but can’t restore purchases!
I really loved this app, so I purchased the lifetime pro update. Unfortunately, I was logged out and upon logging back and refreshing, my account showed no history of any purchase! My apple account does however. I tried to reach someone to email or support, but the website just keeps taking me around in circles. This was disappointing as I really did think it was a much better alternative to adobe. I’ll keep trying to refresh my account and perhaps it will go through.. just be warned that you may lose all your documents if you are ever logged out!
