Doesn't seem to work

Can download the app and register, but none of the features work or communicate with the projector

Really bizarre

I don’t understand how they could have released this app as it stands. It takes a second or 2 to respond to any action, and I get an “unable to connect to Optoma server” constantly. Why is it even trying to connect to the Optoma server when my projector is 2 meters away? Completely useless. Bizarre, because the projector is awesome.

Needs a real investment

Optoma needs to take this stuff seriously and make an app that functions. Some releases just don’t work at all, and worse off, the remote is bad for their projectors. Come on guys. Everyone else has this figured out.

Worst app ever

This is the absolute worst app for a projector ever. How can a company produce such a great piece of hardware but have the absolute worst developers in the world working for them. Get rid of whoever is on your mobile app team and fix this! This app is an insult to spending $3000 on a projector. My dog destroyed the remote when I first got this and I figured no big deal, use the app…. But lately the thing does not even work. Server errors constantly and the volume controls are ridiculous. I have accidentally turned my projector up to 100 and down to 0 several times on accident. At the moment the app hasn’t worked for days and I haven’t been able to adjust the volume. I am the kind of person that is perfectly happy being remoteless and love using apps, but this one just straight up doesn’t work. I’ll have to purchase a new remote and have 1 device in the house that can’t just be controlled by my phone. Whoever built this should be fired immediately. It is a disgrace to developers all around the world. I am considering selling my projector and never recommending Optoma again over this.

Please Fix This. We paid for expensive projectors.

Your customers bought expensive projectors and want the features to work. This app is a slap in the face. As a developer myself, I can only assume it was developed by someone’s teenage kid for a high school project.It. Does. Not. Work. Please. Please, for the love of your customers who paid you, make this thing work as advertised.I would be super glad to speak with the team and help or give incredibly specific feedback. I love my projector. This app is an insult to it. Your projectors deserve better.Please contact me if there is a possibility to give more direct feedback.

Not working with projector

It crashes every time it opens (on projector) cannot seem to use whatever this app does. Disappointed cause I was excited to see.
