Perfect and Clean Timeline

This is a solid app that does exactly what it says on the tin. If you want a simple, pristine timeline with no distractions or algorithmic chicanery, then this is the one. There’s only a single issue that keeps me from using it exclusively: the tiny image previews. While viewing the timeline any embedded images are presented as squat letterboxed rectangles. It’s extra frustrating considering that even while holding my iPad vertically, there’s so much wasted space in the app on the sides, which draws further attention to the minuscule image previews. An option to choose the preview size would make this a must-have app.

Accessible? I don’t think so.

There are mullltiple accessibility issues with the app—for VOiceOver users. An unlabeled button next to each tweet in the timeline, and activating a tweet/post opens nothing. Is there supposed to be tweet info, or the URL to an included article/Etc?FOr being marketed as accessible, this app has disappointed and failed.I’m happy to update my review, if/when the above issues are addressed. But I’m pretty aggravated after being sold on the accessibility claim, and spending the money. I knew I should have stuck with the main Twitter app… ☹️

No way to currently switch accounts

Sadly, there’s no way for me to (1) run multiple accounts on this app, or (2) even sign out of my current account and log into a different one (unless I’m missing something). I want to like this app—I get it’s not meant to be a full-featured app, but to not even let me log out of my account without deleting the app, that’s not just a non-full-featured app, it’s a not-yet-ready-for-primetime app. Hopefully that’ll get added in a future update and I can update this review.

Love the minimalism

This app has become beautiful and elegant due to the careful omission of certain features. I love it for providing a unique experience and don't want it to become like the rest. However, the inability to save images has caused me to have to keep the standard twitter app on my phone :((Adding image saving would in no way compromise the minimal philosophy of the app and I really think its needed.

A Sanity-Forward Experience

This app is not for everyone. I wanted a more *deliberate* Twitter experience, which is what this has given me. I literally feel more sane.For version 1.0, this gets a lot of little details right. Looking forward to see what “Team NightHawk, LLC” has in store. I’m excited.

Less features than expected

One extra star for the “eat up Martha” reference and icon. Otherwise, where’s all of the standard functionality? I don’t want to sound like I’m advertising for another app, so I won’t mention any names. But this app has fewer features than my preferred twitter app......and one extra star for the fast and polite developer response. This one doesn’t meet my current needs. I will certainly check in again on future versions and features. And I won’t seek a refund, because it’s important to encourage young developers to keep working. (It’s only a few bucks.)Good luck guys!

Twitter with less junk

This app has actually made my Twitter experience much more enjoyable. It is great to read my feed without all the excess junk! And to be able to not see some of the major annoyances in our world today. . .

Good, but needs lists

Hi guys I like the app so far. I used the lists feature with Twitter and if I could use my lists in your app I would likely switch to it exclusively. I understand the close friends list but I have my own for certain things and would love to use them. Thanks!

One small problem

The app is great, I love the UI, love the features, and I love the references, it’s a unique Twitter client and it was obviously made with care, but mentions don’t register properly, whereas I can usually click on the mention and go to someone’s account, it just is normal text, I also don’t get notifications when someone mentions me. Maybe this could be added later.

App with a lot of potential....

I think this app has a lot of potential. I really like the smart feed options. But for some reason not all of my friends are available in the search for the close friend feed. That’s a problem that needs fixing.
