Great Rss Feed Reader!

No special accounts! And it works really, really well. I got this app because I needed something to read my hobby RSS feeds. It works great for that. The news feature is just a great bonus. Lots of countries, lots of news organizations. Highly recommended.

crashes contantly

This app allowed me to add a number of feeds, and worked once. Today, it does not work at all. When I started the app, there was nothing displayed, even though I added a number of feeds yesterday. I tapped the + icon, and a number of stories appeared, but then the application crashed and it hasn't worked since. There are no settings in the "Settings" app for iPad, and there doesn't seem to be a way to export your feeds, so you need to set it up on each device. I'm close to asking for my $.99 back.

Stop Crashing

Well I didn't know if it was a legit app at first because there weren't any reviews but I downloaded it so hopefully it doesn't destroy my phone. However the interface is really creative and easy to read. Its exactly what I was looking for. I'm a super busy student & don't have time to search for news online, i like that it gives multiple news sources. The only problem I'm having is keeping the app up long enough to read. Every time I click on it, it crashes within like 4- 5 seconds. It's really annoying. So if you fix the bugs then it will definitely get 5 stars.

So Far So Good

I haven't experienced any download or freezing issues. No one reports what device they are using. I am using iPhone 4S with Verizon.Love that I get to choose news agencies, topics, and subtropics. News updates continually and that is what I am looking for.I hope you can fix the bugs for other users.

Great News App

Best news app I have found. I love that you can have news from around the world. My husband loves the German news as that is where he is originally from. It helps him retain the German language which he struggles with from using English for so many years. When he calls his relatives in Germany he can talk about news from their country and in their publications. For news junkies I highly recommend this app as you can have news from so many different sources. It's great that you can tailor it to your interests.

Pretty good, almost great

I needed something to open RSS feeds from mobile Safari while my favorite app, Reeder, adjusts to the Google Reader situation. This one is the best I've found so far, after trying a few others. It displays the full article well, and doesn't put too much chrome around it. It is also nice to be able to add new feeds right in the app. Thank you!On other side, for me, News lacks a few user interface features and the polish of Reeder, so I'll probably switch back if Reeder becomes a standalone RSS reader.The paid version of News has no ads, so it's well worth the 99c. Who wants ads in their feed, especially if the original site has none?

Excellent!

This app is great for news junkies. I enjoy quickly reviewing news from around the world targeted just to my wide-ranging interests. (I read in English, German and French). The app makes it very easy to do. When an item strikes my fancy I take a deep dive into the article. Very efficient.

Excellent News App

I rarely write reviews anymore - but this app has changes my news reading habits. Simple to set up, and a wider range of news feeds available than any of the other 9 news apps I already had on my iPhone. Faster at updating feeds, and no crashes or bugs that I've encountered. Maybe there is room for improvement (the AP feed seems to deliver HTML header information that is meant to be hidden), but its the best in the App Store, and deserves 5 stars.

Finally one for all

I am new to apple products and the world of apps and was about to give up on trying to read the news because every paper I wanted to read wanted a subscription fee. Not with this app. It has the biggest names in the newspaper industry and allows you to choose what you want to read. Pick the sports section from MSNBC, the World news from CNN, Top Stories from NYtimes, Travel from LA Times, entertainment from E! all for free all to one location. Top notch app very easy to navigate and does what it says it does. Highly recommend.
