Questions without answers

I loved the game and would play it endlessly, however by the end of the game each time I am left with more questions than answers like what happened after she left her barn behind, who are the aliens, where did they come from, what would happen if erland returned to the barn and didn’t see her or the cows there, what are her and the aliens going to do now that the queen is gone, where are they going to go, will ruth ever return to earth, and most importantly what will happen next. I would like to see another game come out that would answer these questions. This game really has the potential to be something more, don’t let it go to waste.

Impressive Rhymes in Multi-Languages

I love classic point-and-clicks by LucasArts and Sierra. This game very much reminded me and gave me that feel of old King’s Quest games, but especially Loom. It is shorter than most adventures, but it is sophisticated. I am fluent in both French and English and found the translation of the dialogues impressively accurate while maintaining rhyme, and still giving the necessary hints to solve problems. These are for sure not “just translated.” A lot of thought went into it. I applaud the creator for this. The story is sweet, and the puzzles not over the top difficult. It’s a friendly point-and-click for newbies.

Entertaining Short Adventure Game

Excellent game! It was fun discovering the story that unfolded as each puzzle was solved. I got stuck in one spot and had to resort to a walk through for a hint. The gameplay works well with a touch-based interface. The graphics and story are simple but that did not bother me. I wish the game had been longer but still feel satisfied with the experience I had for the price. I would buy a sequel should the developer choose to make one.

Moving

There has never been a finer example that pixels are just a canvas for what can be a moving and emotional story. I am just getting started, and it is such a touching presentation of what a girl's life could be like on the mountain. And, so far, we are missing some of the annoying aspects of the classics - red herrings, pointless deaths. A retro game that would have fit in well in the King's Quest era, but with subtle modern effects like moving clouds and a real piano and classical guitar moving soundtrack. The attention to detail and frequent shifting of perspective is reminiscent of Another World.

Gorgeous, thoughtful, and thought-provoking game.

The music was sublime, and the dialogue was beautiful to read. V annoyed people are complaining about the price tag. It's only $4! More than just a couple hours of gameplay, which is brilliant and entrancing by the way, and BY an indie developer! Y'all walk in the app store thinking like it's Wal-mart, and you're getting something soulless and mass-produced. Selfish.

Great little experience

Played it in two seasons and despite what others say I don’t mind that it was “short”. It was exactly as long as it needed to be. I honestly don’t have time to play through an epic 40 hr adventure which is why I love mobile games like this. I get to have all the same nostalgia and fun and finish the game too. Soundtrack was fantastic and is definitely worth putting on headphones.

Similar to qfg, kq, adventure games

Neat game! I think maybe five puzzles seemed very arbitrary to me, but the rest I could figure out. I got stuck a couple times apart from the arbitrary puzzles, but figured it out after scratching my head a bit. I recommend the game.

Boring opening

The art and story are promising. I especially enjoy the rhymes. But the opening is just so slow and tedious. Puzzles basically consist of trying each object with each other object, and it’s easy to miss some objects since nothing is highlighted. I have to do mundane chores for a long time, which is not a great hook. For people who are more patient than I am, there may be much to enjoy.

Fabulous game but a few bad spots for movement

I’m an adventure gamer from the old days, so this hit the spot, perfect. Just one complaint: it’s too difficult to make some of the simplest moves that are required. Like for the life of me I cannot walk past the barn to the left most of the time when I try. Why is it so difficult?!?! So frustrating.

Fun...

Beautiful game. Reminds me a lot of an older game called Loom. The only problem is that this game is SHORT. It felt more like a demo than an actual game, and there were a few unanswered questions and things that were never explained. I'd say it's worth 1$... maybe. But 4$ is absurd, seriously. I was expecting at least 5 times the amount of game. Shortest point and click adventure game I've ever played. I give it 4 stars because it's good, and I would like to see more. But... lol I just have to say it again, it felt like a demo.
