I really enjoy this game. It is very relaxing and the puzzles can be challenging! The issue I have is the hint. I don't usually use the hint because that kind of takes away from the fun of the game. That being said, I've come across a couple of the puzzles that I just couldn't figure out so I used the hint. That's ok but even when I know how to get a puzzle started and I KNOW I am doing the moves in the right order the hint goes dark saying that I can't use it because I'm out of sequence. Basically you use the hint for every move of a puzzle or you can't use it at all. That's ridiculous! It's just a way to get me to buy more gems. I don't like to be manipulated like that and it's a cheap trick!
I love love love this game and it all started when I was wondering how to play. I found this app, downloaded it, and immediately started playing it. This is still day one, but I’ve only got ONE concern: There are a LOT of in-app purchases. Overall, this might be my new favorite board game. Also, I think this game started off with Egyptians and precious stones. I’m amazed at how this has evolved. WOW. Thanks to everyone who helped make this super-awesome game! This is, like, necessary on any device. I also love that this purchase that is for the 2-players and a bunch of other things, it’s only $5.00, which is not that much, because it unlocks so much!! Thank you all again for making this game so wonderful.
I remember when I was little I was always bored cause there was no internet. And there where no kids I could play with in my neighborhood ( I was the only child) so my mom got tired of seeing me like this and one day brought this game home but it was the board game and I loved play it with my parents. So now that I’m older I found this game here and was so excited and started playing for hours and never quit or lost. So I suggest this game to anyone in the world it’s the best!❤️❤️
Fun to play but I feel it is unfair sometimes and the game cheats! This is not good leadership skill for children to see when they play this game at least make the age higher up like 18 and older! But I think you must teach kids at young age that life is unfair, and mancala is addicting I am actually addicted I remember playing it in the hospital with my sister but they lost all the marble pieces literally!! And we had to find random pieces to replace them with they kept falling out and stuff they were too big! and I do not think it was as fun but I make do. This game still had marbles pieces and I didn’t not have to replace them with stupid small plastic animals like giraffes and elephant and monkey so I give it a three stars review ok hope feelins are not hurt that is not my intention what so ever. This app is still better than others on the App Store like that mancala and friends so big props to that .
Mancala!!! Never did I think I would find this old unique yet modern work of art game. This is a classic that entertains me for hours on end. I’ve told my family and friends and they are as excited as me. I recommend this game to anyone that enjoys classic games from the good old days that can be enjoyed by the whole family-young and old. Thank you so much for reinventing this classic into something my entire family can enjoy on our tablets, phones, and the computer. Fun, fun, and more fun!!! Highly recommend.
I had never played this game before and I had this game as a kid but it was a wooden box that you open up and played right there on the board. It came with marbles and it did not have directions well we did not have internet when I was a kid so I never learned to play it. I have been playing it to the point I think I am addicted lol! Maybe not addicted but I am really enjoying it. I think that the directions could have been a little more detailed maybe a step by step and maybe have a tutorial that shows how to play in just a easier way to play the game. The reason I say that is that I suffered a TBI (traumatic brain injury) and it takes a bit more of detailed instructions to for me to learn how to play certain games. It took me playing for about an hour to finally understand the game. I would definitely recommend it to others and it is a good game for brain training in my opinion !!! -Krysten
This app is perfect to learn how to play the game through just playing it. It also contains bunch of puzzles that really gets you thinking on how to solve them.My only suggestion is to possibly make a multiplayer mode to where you can either play with strangers or your friends instead of a computer. Or possibly have a difficulty option for the ai in case players want a more challenging match.I’ve really enjoyed the game, your time and effort is appreciated! Good work.
I love the actual mancala game, but this is slightly different. I have always played with three things in each slot, not four, and I can't spend money on apps, and I don't want to just to change a number. Also, I didn't do the capturing when you land in the empty spot. It took me by surprise, and I didn't want to have to go to a stupid website just to find out what was going on. You could at least put the rules in the actual app, and I want a two-player game.I'm sure it's not the worst mancala app, but if you're a beginner you might like it. It's extremely easy to win.
I love moving M&M shaped marbles through a wood board with half drilled holes while trying to score a touchdown. It’s like call of duty meets football if Hulk Hogan was a professional bowling champion if the lanes were made of Ice for free skating in the dark. The best part about Mancala is that it brings back old memories of going to grandmas and getting yelled at for being hyper while throwing the marbles around the room. We definitely had fun those summers going to the lake and Mancala was always there. I definitely see myself playing with this instead of my organ. I have made a professional chance at Mancala only to be off a few marbles but this will help me train for the future.
Mancala (also known as Kalah) is an ancient board game. Pick up marbles from any of bottom holes and move them counter-clockwise. If your move ends at your home hole (right one) you can move again.
