What a joke
This is the first review I’ve ever left for an app.. I usually won’t go out of my way to leave a negative review; but things like this irk me.. badly. So yeah don’t waste your time even downloading this app.. you’ll have about two whole seconds to zoom in on the object you’re attempting to magnify and when those two seconds are up and you have barely gotten even a semi-clear visual on the object, you’re IMMEDIATELY BOMBARDED with the classic “upgrade now or continue to deal with our otherwise, fully bull$*&:+ excuse of an app prompting you to upgrade every two seconds”.. ha yeah what a joke. Delete
Every 10 Seconds You Are Harassed to Upgrade
Constantly annoying, embarassingly avaricious modal popups requiring an upgrade to get past the 10-second limit render this app in its current state totally useless. The developers need to think of a more reasonable business plan unless their goal is to alienate every new user of their app. There are plenty of magnifier apps that don’t treat their users this way. Stay away until this is fixed.
Don’t waste your time installing this app
Literally the very first thing that pops up when you first open the app is for you to review it. When using the app within seconds, it’s asking you to upgrade and counts down to 11 seconds if you don’t want to upgrade. It continues to do it every 10 seconds. You can’t even used the app without getting interrupted with the upgrade ad!! Super annoying!
Worst Ever
The first thing that pops up when you open the app is asking for a review. How can one review what they did not even get to look at yet? So I clicked that pop up closed. Turned the light on to aid in looking at what I wanted to zoom in on, aimed it at what I wanted to magnify and the screen goes dark with a pop up that says “Time Exceeded” my choices were “Upgrade” or “Continue“ that another notification told me I would be allowed to continue for free in 10-15 seconds. That went away and I continued, aimed back on what I wanted to look at, as soon as it zoom d in, but did not have a chance to focus, the pop up telling me time was up and “Upgrade” or “continue” came back on.I tried ONE last time. I was able to focus and see the item I was zooming in in. THE IMAGE WAA THE EXACT SAME IMAGE ZOOM AS MY IPHONE NORMALLY HAS!I HATE that is even wasted my time in this stupid crap. You people who made this are the worst money grubbing SOBs ever. Wow. You’re terrible people.
Viewing limit!
I saw the great number of reviews on this app and so got it. It times out every 10 seconds or so and has you wait before it will activate again. It’s asking you to upgrade to a two dollar app however you don’t even have enough time to evaluate the app before it shuts down. I took it off my phone immediately!
Can’t give zero stars!!
Are you kidding me??!!?? Nothing in the description for this app does it say “unless you upgrade you can not use.” I opened the app thinking I would be able to see something small and boy was I wrong!! SHAME ON YOU!! Both to the developers and to the App Store!! I don’t appreciate not only being mislead but to flat out unable to use the so called Free part of an app unless I upgrade to paid??? Such bul@&!*%!!!!
10 seconds to use.
This app and the other apps by the same creator is a joke. You open the app, right away it wants a review before you get a chance to use it, then you have 10 seconds to use the app, then you have to wait for the 10 seconds of the upgrade pop up if you want to continue using the app, and after another 10 seconds the upgrade pop up appears again, it’s a never ending cycle. Not worth the aggravation. I’ll find another app that’s worth using and upgrading if needed.
You’re only allow 10 seconds
I’m so glad I waited to review this app. With the new update you are only given 10 seconds to use the magnifier. After that is is blocked for 10 seconds urging you to upgrade. Who does that??? It’s a magnifier, what do you need to upgrade??? If it’s free it’s free, if you want to sell it, then sell it from day one...because trying to force someone to buy it in the middle of using it is a trashy business practice. I’m definitely deleting.
Works very well
this application works very well and is very easy to use, however it is most certainly not free. Gives you six seconds or less to view what you want to see and then tells you you got a buy it. It would’ve had five stars had it been honest.
How this has 5*’s I’ll never know….
This app shouldn’t even say it’s free - it’s a total gimmick! It doesn’t even give you enough time to see if the magnifying glass works before it freezes you into 10 second waiting periods, with your only options are the “Upgrade” or wait out every 10 seconds, for 5 seconds to use the mag glass. If you want to be frustrated and like to be suckered then by all means - this app is for you! I couldn’t even figure out if the mag glass was good since it freezes you out of using it so often it makes it impossible to use w/out purchase.
