Won’t connect EVER!
This app is so frustrating and annoying. It’s connects maybe twice and every other try, I’ve wasted Way too much time trying to get them to connect. I’ve tried everything and I know both my phone and computer are on the same wifi, however it tells me it couldn’t connect and to check the wifi every. single. time. Starting to doubt whether luminar is worth the $$…
Some improvements suggested
Overall impress with the Beta version.Suggestion on Erase menu.You need to add a customizable menu to determine shape, size , orientation, softness hardness, overall parameters to help the erase replace be more predictable and have better results.Same with power lines and dust removal. It detect some and fail sometimes, probably based on contrast or lack of. Line removed functions should be customizable to line strength and size.Overall software seems to have a potential but need more customizable options to fine tune each function.
Connectivity
Love the concept! However, my pc has a wired internet connection my phone cannot not connect. This is from the fact that they are not on the “same” Wi-Fi network. It would be cool if they could some how work around that.
Doesn’t Work
I consider myself a techy guy who’s pretty good with networking but for the life of me couldn’t get this app to work. The desktop application always failed to connect. I have things like UPNP enabled, etc and still no luck. Seems like I’m not the only one either.
Can’t connect
I confirmed that I am on the same network with both my phone and my laptop. However, the share button is grayed out in Neo so I can’t connect. I tried also from ‘share’ under the File menu, but the connect option is grayed out there. So the app is currently completely useless.

Poor customer service
I’ve been using Neo for over a year and it runs really slow on my Mac Studio. I purchased the plug in that was supposed to come with the software and renewed my membership X. After I purchased the plug in because I wanted to support the company and renewed my membership I was told I would have to pay extra to watch the video on how to use the software that was included the previous year. If they are going to nickel and dime you to death I would have went with Adobe for $9.99. And yes I did contact support and they said they changed the way the membership worked. If I had know I would not be allowed to watch the video I would not have renewed my membership.
App is a waste!!
Did exactly a stated and moved nothing over! Shows it bring the photo over with bar indicator but nothing shows!
Works as advertised
I just completed transferring an image that I edited in Luminar Neo and I was able to share that quickly on Social Media. I am very happy.
Appallingly bad app - simply doesn’t work
This hasn’t been thought through and is just a useless app - connections continually drop and I just don’t understand how they could let something this bad exist. Since your iPhone photos probably play a big part in your collection, I would strongly advise you not to purchase the program until this is sorted.
