Love it, can't wait for next release.

I do love this app. It gives you lots of inspiring design formats. I got the paid version. There are several quirks which hopefully will be fixed soon. I would like to create multiple colors with the same company name. For example, left word yellow, right blue. Also, when I tried duplicating the text to ensure consistent font, color etc, it was finicky. Curving words would also be nice. I love that this allows you to save without background. It's a great app. And it's going to get even better I'm sure.

Great but needs more

This app is easy to use, the interface is clean and simple. The supplied logos are also really good! However, editing them is another story. Please make it to where I can change the color on different sections of the logo instead of the entire picture. Also, add a feature that allows you to create your own original logo. If those two things were fixed, this would be a five star app worth every dollar.

Really happy with this app!

I managed to capture the big ideas of my brand identity with this application in just a few minutes vs. the hours I have spent over the last few days crafting something from scratch in Photoshop -- the product of which I still didn't really like. There's lots here to choose from with lovely typography options and you can easily export your logo to edit in more detail with other apps or when you're ready to put it to use!My only quibble is that you can't go back in and edit your logo. It's simple enough to recreate what you came up with but if you just wanted to darken your font color it's a bit of a pain to go through the process again.

Works, but...

If you haven't tried the free one and you're thinking of buying, go try the free one first.For what it is, this is a pretty decent app. Unfortunately there are some minor issues that I had. Number one being that you can't recolor any of the icons. You can alter the color that's already there but if you want bright green and the icons color is dark blue, you're out of luck. Also, many of the icons are multicolored. If you're looking to create a simple two color logo for some inexpensive business cards then the vast majority of these images won't work for you.I found a small bug in the editing. Once you're finished with the icon and move on to text, if you want to go back and reposition the image it doesn't want to let you. I tapped and double tapped and tapped and held and nothing seemed to allow me to go back. I found that if I repeatedly tap and swipe at the icon eventually I can get it to move and allow me to edit again. Other than that it does what the description says it will do.

Perfect for what I needed

I did a Google search for how to create a logo, and this app came up as a suggestion. Given that I've used VanillaPen before and loved it, I had no doubt I would feel the same about LogoScopic. Sure enough, it delivers! It's so simple to use, the design is very aesthetically pleasing, and it's so fun to play around with and create a multitude of logo options. I definitely think it's worth upgrading to the paid version to get all the design packs and fonts.

What it doesn’t do, there are apps that will get that done.

Easy to use program, would be nice if it could tilt; its a little frustrating that its locked in the upright perspective. Their support before leaving a review like this but the app support link takes to a webpage that is no longer up and running. SO... if you’re thinking about buying you might want to take into consideration that there may be Limited support in the future.

Needs Broader Icon Selection

This app is definitely quick and easy to use. However, it actually has a fairly narrow range of icons to chose from, which I hope they address. While they have an entire category dedicated to fashion, they have nothing related to the culinary or agricultural fields. They have segments focused on housing/development, the construction trades, film, and tourism, but nothing on health care, wellness, or healthy/active living. I should have paid closer attention to this before I paid cash to test it out.

Great but buggy

Hey great app! However it crashes constantly in the middle of making a logo. I set the picture, select the option to make text and the app shuts down forcing me to start over. Furthermore, once inside your genre of logos, if you try to drag the upper numbers/pages to see beyond #2 it doesn’t respond. You have to back out to the main menu and select any option of a genre past #2. Last, make it so we can bend text. I.e. I would love to wrap text around a round logo vs having to settle for “left-to-right-top-to-bottom” text design Fix those things and this app is flawless.

Seems like it's going to be worth it and then...

I paid $4.99 for this but feel extremely tricked. The "pro" and "art" just contain other horribly cheesy clip art - I thought I'd get some ability to create a simple texts / border based logo without forcing a weird graphic in, or even quite possibility a tool to create your own graphic. Don't spend money on this. It's just a slightly glorified version of the original free version - which was good as it was for free due to the bouncy, relatively simple interface. The additional graphic pack they offer is a joke.

Good- Needs some tweeks to make it great

This is a good app. I would say that it is worth the $4.99 I paid for it. It needs some tweeks to make it a 5 star app.1) Better color editing of the icons. You can alter the level of 3 colors, but you cannot completely change the color choices. Needs to be able to swap colors and be able to make the whole icon one color.2) The icon choices are great. More than what I have found in other apps.3) The ability to add more than one icon is needed. Adding two icons together in creative ways is important when trying to create a logo that unique. This app does not let you do this.4) I have found the pickiness of the user interface when moving text to annoying. You cannot move the text in the image when you think you should. You need to be in a specific editing place to move the text. I don't mind the general idea...just needs to have "sub-menu" be clearer when you can move text vs typing and changing the text color. An update to the controls would fix the issue.Yes, I recommend this app.
