Gorgeous, Simple, Flawless! ...Almost
I downloaded this game today, and I love it! The design is incredible, it looks beautiful! Every little detail matters in the artwork and it looks great!The controls are simple and easy to get used to, so you’ve also done a great job on programming it!This game would be perfect except for one small problem. When I save a portrait, effects don’t save when I reload it. I know the effects aren’t supposed to save, but I think it would be helpful if you could do this. I’ve worked my way around it by screenshooting a look when I’m finished to avoid loosing it.And one more thing, sometimes the game crashes and doesn’t save my look. It’s not such a major issue, but I would appreciate it if you took the time to fix this.Thank you for reading Angela He! 😀I have an edit to this piece of feedback: The crashing problem has seemed to stop, I assume because I have recently deleted a few apps. The effects have gotten worse, instead of not loading in, they are now scrambled. It mixes the effects up and changes the color, or tone, or in various other ways. And now, the skin color doesn’t load either, if I change to a new one, the skin tones are scrambled with the same one as the previous. I know it is very unlikely you’ll notice this message, but regardless, it simply felt right to inform you about these minor issues.Once again, I thank you for your time.
Awesome app, but some suggestions
I absolutely love this app, don’t get me wrong, but there are a few things I would change (warning long review). I understand that you guys as the creators need to have some things for sale as it is a free app, and it is also highly appreciated by me that you have the option to watch ads in order to get a smaller amount of stars to get things, but for some reason it won’t work for me. It asks if there is connection and I know there is, since I’m at home and I can watch ads on my other games. I use this app to make some of my OCs, since sometimes I’m too lazy to draw or animate them, and I love all of the free options, but sometimes I have to compromise my OCs features for other, less accurate things. For example, I have an OC with ponytails and a different OC with bunny ears. I realized right away there were no ponytails or bunny ears when I went to make them, but that I could buy them with stars! I was so relieved I could watch ads to get them, but was in turn disappointed when the ads were, “unavailable”. Please please fix this! Otherwise I would love to turn this review to a five stars.

The game is absolutely beautiful!! Ive loved Angelas art since 2016, but only just now found out about this game! I was a little worried when I saw that some items need points, thinking "oh god, Im gonna need to spend money to enjoy this game, arent I?" But since youre able to watch ads for points and buying points is extremely cheap, I dont have a problem with it. But something Ive noticed is when resizing things or turning them, sometimes it looks a little weird. For example, when resizing the eyelids/eyelashes, that part changes, but the eye under it doesnt, and with a dark skin tone and light eyes and vise versa, its really noticeable. That makes it so I can only give myself a certain range with resizing the eyes. Its a small problem though, and whether or not its fixed wont affect me, but with how great the game is, the only things that can be fixed are insignificant. This game is the best avatar creator ive seen, and I hope we get more items soon! 💛💛💛
Need a few tweaks, but overall good
I’ve tried a couple avatar makers in my life, and I’d say this is probably the best one I’ve came across so far. Even then, I think there could be a few changes they could makeI’ve noticed that as opposed to the portrait maker for boys, this one doesn’t have ears. Even though most of the time the long hair covers it, I still find it a bit disturbing when in trying to make a girl with a pixie cutI also noticed that there’s only one type of frame for the glasses. I’d suggest making a few more, add a little more personality. Instead of only Harry Potter glasses, they could also add Ray-Bans, etc, so all the glasses wearing characters don’t look similar. With some clothes and accessories, they didn’t line up with the rest of the features, for that I suggest that for some clothing items, such as the hats and scarves, there be an option to resize themOverall, this app is really customizable, and despite a few tweaks that should be made it’s pretty solid

This app is absolutely gorgeous. The animation, art, and limitation to gameplay are all beyond perfect. This game is so beautiful. But I have one complaint. I just bought some stars a little bit ago. I restarted the game hoping they would appear. But they didn’t, I restarted it multiple times even trying to buy something to see if it would work and, sure enough, it did not. I don’t know if it’s just the connection to internet because currently, there is a storm going on, or if it’s actually refusing to give me my stars. I’m scared because I really wanted those stars. Honestly I don’t want to be scammed and it was used with my mothers money so if they don’t show up..I just don’t know. But other than that, it’s awesome. There is nothing else bothering me! But if you are reading this, creator, I would ask deeply for maybe a solution or an explanation on why this may be happening. I will edit this response if anything else happens, or I get my stars but other that that..you did amazing, creator. Thanks..bye!
Beautiful and great job! But something wrong....
I love this game! It’s is very beautiful and really fun! They is a lot of accessories you can say that and cute clothes! But...the only issue I’m having is leaving the game and coming back to the game. So I played a lot for like 2 hours or so then I had to go somewhere so after I came back from the beach I went home I looked at the window it was night so I went on my phone and played the game when I entered a long thing of a lot of words so I read and it said:SORRY YOU CAN NO LONGER PLAY LIVE PORTION MAKER YOULL HAVE TO PAY LOTS OF MONEY. I didn’t know if that was normal so what I did was deleted it I was very sad☹️ so the next day I downloaded it and it was all normal😇 but be Careful cause this might happen to you don’t pay lots of money all you it delete the game then download it again if it still is not normal just stay calm and try parents to help you cause something’s might get crazy without your parents help. Thank You!🌸
great app but needs a little more options
YES YES YES! this app is so close to being perfect, but i wish there were a little more optionsMORE HAIR CHOICES, all of the hair styles that are available are great on their own, but if you could add natural hair and hairstyles like cornrows or ponytails/pigtails, it would be amazingMORE CLOTHING OPTIONS! even though there are very different options, it would be great if you had more. hats, beanies, bandanas, sweatbands, a lot of other things too.MORE NOSE AND LIP OPTIONS! you already have a bunch of great options, but if you could make it so that if you want a thinner upper lip and a fuller bottom lip, a smile with bunny teeth, it would be great!i know it’s a lot but if you did add these things, it would make the app much more amazing and popular than it already is, and your ratings would go even higher. these are just my opinion, and it’s an opinion out of a thousand others, but please do something somewhat close to what i requested.
Having trouble trading ads for stars
I’ve been using this app for two to three days now, and I really like it. The animation is incredible, the customization is various, and there’s a color spectrum so users can make the character and their clothes whatever color they want, even being able to name and GIF them. However, since I don’t want to have to spend money to get stars, I choose to watch ads instead. After an ad or two, the app no longer lets me watch anymore, and instead of it saying “18 left today”, it goes back to saying “20 left today”. I still have the stars that I received from watching the ads that popped up, but I can’t get anymore because the app won’t let me.I’m not sure if it’s because of my phone since it’s saying “Couldn’t show video.(Is there connection?”, or if it’s a glitch in the app. I have signal and the data is on, but it’s not letting me watch an ad. I’ll continue using the app, but hopefully whatever is happening will be fixed.

This app is the best app on my iPad this app is so great for months I have been trying to find an app where you can e own character without having to watch ads or having to play a game in order to get a currency to get certain clothes. This app is great it goes straight to it and you can have your own colors for example if I wanted my character to have red hair she can have red hair! If I wanted my character to have red hair but have brown hair at the same time you can do that too! I see people complaining that you have to get stars to get the good clothes like chokers etc. But you have to understand how are the creators gonna get money? They need money too. Plus when you make your own character you can have a background that goes behind your character and it can have effects too like for example it can have cute flower petals raining on your character. And the clothes are so cute! And NO ADVERTISEMENTS!! That is great for a game like this! Honestly, I am recommending this game to all of my friends! And if I could rate this game more stars I would I would rate it a zillion stars!!
Great, but there are some glitches (Not anymore!)
For example, I went into the eyes section and the welcome screen could still be seen through the options and stopped me from seeing a lot of them. After I picked some of the lighting options with the eyes, they completely disappeared. I couldn’t take them off, I couldn’t change the color or anything without completely shutting down the app and having to start over. On lucky runs, it’d return after I changed the eye color or added a shape to the eye. Also, shirts appear over the overalls instead of vice versa. It doesn’t look right to have spaghetti straps thrown over the overalls. That, and the effects always don’t work anymore. Whenever you click effects, there’s a chance that the backgrounds show up instead of that the accessories show up instead. It’s incredibly disruptive to my gameplay; the effects are what make the characters pop. Losing the ability to use some of them after visiting the tab once or twice to check out how one of them looks is pretty bad. The art, however, is amazing! The effects are gorgeous and the freedom with customization is perfect. The near flawless art is the main reason I downloaded.(These glitches have been fixed! The only problem I’ve noticed now is random crashes, which the dev has noticed.)
