Cool app but

I just came across this app while reading a blog & was excited about trying it out. I read the list under the in app purchases section and it seemed like you could pay for individual packages as needed but alas that’s not the case & I found it really sad & irritating. I’m not sure why I need to be on a subscription to have watermarks removed from the final result. It’s a really great app & nicely done & I know you have to earn your money. There’s nothing wrong with that but I would recommend to the developers to at least have the watermark as a separate standalone fee & then other things like the extra music tracks, etc can be available for subscription if they still want to go that route

Disappointed - App crashes ALOT

I was very excited to use this app for my business, but after hours of trying to get one stop motion video to work I decided it’s not worth it! First of all it took almost 10 minutes to import my images, when I finally got the images imported the app kept crashing whenever I replayed the video. Not only would the app crash whenever I would replay the video, every single attempt to Download the video would cause the app to crash. Now, I’m not one to complain and get upset right away, I made sure to research their website and look for troubleshooting steps. I followed the instructions online to allow the video to render and continued to have issues. (I even opened a support ticket!) I decided that perhaps the video had decided to go through the annoying step of importing my images once again and create a new video only to get disappointed once again. This time the video wouldn’t even playback entirely before it crashing. It shouldn’t take me hours to get a video to work, not worth it! And definitely not worth the money!

Good Quality Videos but...

Overall, I was pleased with the results of this app. I love that there is no adds! 😊However, I did not like the fact that they took away the music feature and gave it a price. I really wish they had not discontinued the 10 or so songs that you used to be able to use for LifeLapse for free. I understand that there are financial issues, but I had some pretty great videos with the available songs that my whole family enjoyed. We were all pretty bummed when our old videos no longer had music to go with them. I, and I’m sure many users of this app, would really appreciate if you could please give back our music. Even just one or two songs would suffice. It was one of the many wonderful aspects of this app. I would have given it 4.5 stars if I could. I don’t think anyone is being “greedy”, but I miss the music, that’s all. Thank you for all the hard work you put in this app, developers 😁☺️!

Very useful but...

I really think this app is very useful! And gives me and I think lots more people inspiration to create new thinks in creative ways! I know it did inspire me. But I think if you want people to use your app more and be inspired by it I think it should be free. Because there is so many things I wanted to do with this app but I couldn’t because I had to pay and I don’t think it’s right for people to pay for something so cool! If the whole pro part of the app was free I would definitely give it 5 stars! But overall this app is amazing and so useful in many ways! Please consider what I have to say and that is the pro part should be free because I know so many people who could do amazing things with this app that could also inspire others. Thank you so much for this app it has given me ways to make stories and so many other cool things please have pro free it would make so many people I know happy and use this app so much more than they already do!

Needs work/greedy dev

It is a great start to a tool that could be great. However a huge problem right now is lack of a voice command to take a photo. Check out the free YOYI app as an example. Just say “YOYI” and it takes a photo. I do prefer Life Lapse over that one because it packs more features. But having to purchase a clumsy Bluetooth remote to take a photo just means more to fumble with during a shoot. This needs a voice command. Life Lapse also needs a better icon. It’s dreadful and not something I want on my home screen alongside other well designed icons on a dark background. Please also add a dark mode like YOYI has. My final and biggest complaint is the developer greed of $3 every month. This is so unnecessary. This is a $3 one-time cost app at best. Please stop the developer greed of always having a subscription just because you can. I’ll use it for now, despite everything I’ve said, but as soon as another app comes along that doesn’t have these problems, I’m out.

Best app, The best customer service

Highly recommend this app, great features, constantly improving. On a number of times we have reached out to the customer service and the app owner Sarah personally reached out to me and my wife and blew us away with how much she cares about our experience and our projects and making sure our needs are met. Not only that but making improvements on the app based on our use. I could not be happier with paying a couple of bucks a year to have this awesome app and for Sarah to personally communicate with us. Help support this app, community and Sarah. Ps we are using this app to record my wife's 1st pregnancy so this app has been an important part of this important time in our lives. i LOVE THIS but there are a few things that I don’t like...

This app is very fun but there are a few problems because:I don’t like How they Disabled the music I really wanted to try it 🥺🥺🥺🥺but it turns out they disabled😣 it and put a price on it That you have to pay $50 😐a year But I guess it’s better than other apps like $180😓 or $200 😥An even $1000 😱That’s one thing I kind of like and I don’t like. It’s fine you can use it for other things but you have to pay for a lot of other things But I guess you don’t have to Pay for a lot of other things but the app is really fun So I suggest buying it Although sometimes it does kick 🤦🏽‍♀️you out even though I put it on never it still kicks me out I like how they put videos in it to show you how to get started and help you and 🙂step-by-step🙂 you’re going to be a pro the only thing I don’t like about it is that you have to pay for the Music🎵🎶 Hopefully they’ll put music in it at least one or two but I still suggest buying the app There are a lot of other apps that you can buy but I still suggest this one because it’s fun it has video 🙃🙃🙂Tutorials and you can watch other things that they made 😮😮😮(BTW If You never bought the app yet then you should read most of the reviews and see the quality of it if you pick this one I’m very glad that you did it’s pretty fun anyways I love this app and I suggest buying it)👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍I LOVE IT 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰🥰(it’s very nice)

AMAZING APP!

I can’t shout how much I love this App loudly enough! I am a home baker and I use it to make fun videos with my baked goods. It opened a whole new world of creativity and fun for me, let alone a whole new opportunity for my baking. I have had brand interest as a result. And, you can make wonderful videos from your phone with minimal expense. They have great tutorials and have always been incredibly responsive. With anything new it takes a little time to know all the ins and outs but they are there to help. It is user friendly and versatile. The shadowing helps you keep your video on track. I love the export/import feature if you need extra edits (not that you do). So much to play with here. I LOVE THIS APP!

Please add the timer back to the free version of the app!

I’ve been using using life lapse for over 4 years now, and it’s been the best stop motion app I’ve ever used by a long shot. Until recently. Today I opened life lapse to take my monthly body update picture,(I’ve been tracking my weight loss journey through this app) to find that I now have to pay 50 dollars a year in order to use the timer that lets you take a picture hands free! 50 DOLLARS FOR A TIMER😤I understand they need a payed version of the app, but it’s not fair to remove such a simple yet essential part of the app and move it to the payed side when it use to be free. So now basically all of my time lapses that I’ve put years into are worthless now because I'm not willing to pay for a timer in order to keep updating them. All of my body updates were taken with the timer from across the room. I’m very disappointed because before this change I would have rated the app a 5/5😔 Unfortunately I will be looking for another app that better suits my needs unless this change is reverted. I’d honestly even pay a one time charge for the feature, but a subscription is just ridiculous!

What’s not to love?♥️

Very awesome! I love using this app, it definitely makes stop-motion 10x easier! This app is also very easy to figure out and use, which makes me happy. The style is very simplistic and helpful and I can’t wait to use it over and over again for my new videos. (I also appreciate that it doesn’t upload the ten million pictures into my photos, just the video)That being said, I do wish that there was a cheaper option for some of the features. I know you can use the free trial and decide what you think, but I feel that it would be rather nice if I had the ability to buy select features for less money, since I’d rather not spend so much all at once. I understand that coordinating all these things can be tricky and I think you guys have done an excellent job with this app, my day was really made when I found this😊👏🏽
